Disappointing

My daughter was having an appointment with surendra chawla on 3 April. They changed the date to 4th April They cant give another time slot also.For the patients whose date have been changed should given priority. Then today they asked me again to change the date to next date. Also the one who called was arrogant. This is not the behavior we customer expect. If you cannot give time for your patients what’s the use of a hospital for us. Anyways we felt neglected.

Worst kind of customer service Most of the time customer service counters are closed becuse of which you have to wait for half an hour just to get the file opened even for getting the file stamped from Insurance & cash counter you need to go up & down as Insurance counter at 1st floor only opens at 1.00pm in the afternoon, need to pay registration fees at every Zulekha Hospital which I feel is very ill logical as management is the same then why a customer has to pay registration fees at every hospital or clinic of Zulekha, nor the doctors are able to see patients reports if same field of doctor is visited at different hospitals of Zulekha

Bad customer service at the time of billing, if u ask any question about billing they people bahaving like India government hospital staff.
Even customer executives staff (Ms. Mansi ) treating like people like nothing, sit out side will get back to you. Rude behavior.
One desk solution not proveded In hospital, they sending people desk to desk like india government hospital.
At the time of admission harrasing people like to this room go to that room.
They make like hell, no customer service at all.

One of staff very helpful Mr. Mohammed Taher, he provide birth notification document without any issue.
One this nursing staff are good, well behave , very supporting.

Radiology scanning

I had a 3rd trimester antenatal Scan last day. The respective Dr in charge was vaguely diagnosing the scan and just went off after finishing. She didn’t even bother to explain the scan images. When the growth status was asked, she just randomly told it’s ok and is normal. Usually during such scans, the doctors show the baby growth and explain them in detail. But she was least interest even to show the images and walked off. Very disappointing….

Outstanding Gynae, excellent bedside manner, very knowledgeable and experienced, Dr Vidula Sharma. Lovely nurses that cared for me throughout my stay. Day and night staff were very thorough, kind, courteous, helpful. Admin took a bit long when we arrived, but the lovely friendly lady assisted us, efficiently and friendly once she arrived at her desk. Room was very neat and clean and well cared for. Even the thearter staff were amazing. Kind and gentle and reassuring.

While the doctors and medical staff at this hospital are commendable, the administrative side leaves much to be desired. Awful hospital, how do u call this a hospital even ??, nurses aren’t responsive or nice, The way are dealing with needles are aggressive, i feel myself in slaughter house not hospital. Staff are incompetence and lack the basic information, communication wise is very limited and never give clear intrusions, the staf need proper training with cannulas and basic education how to handle patients ! Even the Dr aren’t that great Honest advice STAY AWAY

Accident case

My husband was brought on emergency after an accident to Zulekha Hospital on 1st October 2022. He had multiple fractures in his left arm and was operated on by Dr Chetananda. After the ortho surgery we came back twice for consultation. And as we stay in fujairah, we have then followed up in Aster Fujairah. It’s been 11 months post surgery and his humerus bone has still not healed.

We have met multiple ortho surgeon in fujairah and in India and everyone tell us that the surgery was done wrong. A small rod was placed and thus the fracture has moved and that’s why there is a non union. And now we have to go for a resurgery.

He also had both sides of his lower jaw – mandible fractures. At the time of surgery they dint do anything about that either. They said it will heal on its own and to be on soft foods and that will do.

Post coming home within in about 3 Weeks he developed pain in his jaws and when we went back to zulekha, a senior dental surgeon there (Not Dr Himanshoo who operated on him 1st) suggested we should immobilise his jaws by tying together his upper teeth and lower teeth. Why was this not done in the first place ? Because it was already 3 weeks post surgery there was bones that got formed in the cracks and now his jaws are not aligned. And also we were not eligible to get dental coverage on insurance.

So we had to come back to fujairah and get the teeth wired together from a dental surgeon here.

Now, we have been asked to go for a resurgery on his arms. That the entire plating on his broken fractures has to be redone. He has already lost 10 months of his time and was not able to get back to work. Who will compensate us for all this lost time and pain that he had to go through.

Really disappointed with the way these doctors handled his case. Really there was only two procedures done on him post his accident and both has gone wrong. I have tried contacting Mr Chetananda many times in the past few months, either nobody answers the line, else they say he is not in office or he is on holiday.

I need an explanation on this.

Worst doctor I eve came across . I visited with him a month ago for a second opinion on diagnosis on prostatitis by a Prior doctor at another hospital . He wa a quick to question the diagnosis without doing any clinical evaluation on me . He seemed to only interested in submitting me for more and needless rest for a prostate cancer and surgery . Can you believe it . And he proposed that he would conduct a rectal exam which I reluctantly agreed to it , and then said after two second of recital examination I found some suspicious nodules which off course a lies and a cheap attempt to scare me into agreeing into more harmful and unnecessary test ( biopsies and MR scans) . Remember I already had had a number lower pelvis scans which confirm that my prostate is health but little enlarged. But Thai doctor was only interested in commercialized test and examination without any concerns for me and my well-being. Because my horrific experience with urologist Samer , I lost respect for the Zulekha Hospital. He should not be practicing at this rebuttable Hospital with his arrogance and money making mentality. Shame on Dr Samer and Zulekha Hospital , and I therefore gave you zero star .

I went to see dr Muhammad Iqbal khan ophthalmologist, for my daughter and had worst ever experience, I really wonder how these type of rude and unprofessional drs exist. He was very unpleasant and angry person, when we entered in the office I greeted him, neither he replied and nor he looked up. He was looking in the screen and asked what’s the problem, I said we r here for her eye sight check and he didn’t then respond to it. He was so weird. I just asked him for some eye drops, he said that’s not available, whoever suggested u ask him to get for u, I was so shocked with his behave. I am really feeling very bad that why even I went to such unprofessional dr and misbehaving dr.
