Yalla Insurance company DUBAI -Scammers

I regret to share that I’ve become the latest victim of what I believe to be a fraudulent insurance company. Before payment, they offered a comprehensive set of policies and made several appealing promises. However, after the payment was made, they provided only minimal documentation and failed to meet the originally discussed terms.

Warning: Avoid Yalla Compare – Dishonest and Unprofessional!

I had a terrible experience with Yalla Compare and strongly advise others not to deal with them. I specifically asked their agent to issue me an insurance policy that includes natural disaster coverage. They assured me it would be included, but once the policy with Salama Insurance was issued, there was no such coverage mentioned.

When I contacted their customer service manager, he kept promising to send an email confirming the coverage – but an email means nothing legally, and they know that. When I requested a policy cancellation due to their clear mistake, they had the audacity to ask for a cancellation fee!

This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They mislead customers and then try to cover their tracks with meaningless promises. These are not honest brokers – they are cheaters who do not stand by their word.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Yalla Compare. Don’t risk your money and peace of mind with such an irresponsible company.

Chaos

I experienced two aspects during this weird interaction.
First sending all documents to insure my car on a Saturday afternoon, asking for pics and several other details. Then silent for 1h30min, suddenly calling me to communicate the certificate cannot be issued as the insurer is not working during the weekend!!!! For sure they knew it from the beginning of the process, so why do you want me to loose hours, for nothing ?
Second, I obviously cancelled the contract and insure my car to another insurer in less than an hour. Now refund !!!! That’s a big mess, initially Monday 16th Feb, nothing…I called, they said 24 to 48 hours…We are Friday 21st Feb, no refund reflected and now they are telling me it should be on my account no later than Thursday 25th Feb. so basically, if I get refund, it might take 11 days to get my card payment refunded…That’s not serious, no follow up, no message, you have to be on their neck all the time to get different stories. To avoid at all cost

Terrible after-sales service.

I bought insurance from them, trying to get the start date changed, or canceled, but they aren’t assisting in anything at all. they said it’s your problem and not ours, but a new one. The policy is not in effect and it’s been 4 months since they are keeping it hanging there as they have their slabs for cancellation percentage and don’t want to refund it.

I would give them minus 10 stars for after sales service and support and poor customer relations.

I bet the team will reply that there is no customer with your name etc etc. I have a policy receipt as well.

Stealing 11 AED per month

After using them to get health insurance for an employee they started deducting 11 AED after 1 month.
I did not check any box for a subscription.
After logging in on their website there was no way to cancel any subscription either. After googling a bit they appear to add a personal accident insurance for 11 AED per month without consent !

THEY TRIED TO INCREASE PREMIUM AFTER I PURCHASED CAR INSURANCE

I purchased full-comprehensive insurance policy on 10th of Jan. 2024, however I couldn’t renew my mulkia next day. When I contacted yallacompare broker, he first said “it is under process, waiting for the approval from insurance company”, later on he said “they have already approved for higher price.. our team is coordinating with them to approve for the price you have paid.”, a few hrs later “we have requested them to approve the old price” and again “before 5 we will find a solution for this, if not this, we will try to get something similar price” and after 5pm they offered me 3 options. %30 higher, %50 higher or %100 higher policy.. I asked yallacompare to be honest and pay the difference but they immediately rejected. So I cancelled and requested refund. I don’t recommend them. They are dishonest and unreliable.

Kindly note that I didn’t request to subscribe to such service and I only got to know about it when the 1st installment got dedicated.
On 3rd of February, I saw the msg of the deduction and I informed the agent he told me that this subscription will be cancelled and the amount would be refunded since that time till 16th of February there was nothing done about my case so after that I had to re follow up with the agent and now, I see this email from you and nothing got refunded only you are informing me that the service has been canceled.
For me since this is the first time, I am dealing with Yalla Compare such errors make me question the credibility of the company.

Charging for something you didn’t select

This company is doing a trick to motor insurance subscribers. They will subscribe you (without you even request) to a policy for personal accident cover and if you want to cancel you have to request that. Lots of people don’t even notice that their credit cards are charged for that and if noticed the first payment will be already paid. What a dishonest and unethical business trait!

yallacompare insurance with hafsa as agent always says it is not us it is with insurance company. isnt it the reason why we uses their expertise to have a fast, realiable and efficient insurance experience? i mean promising an hour delivery and then asking other docs after an hour and then waiting for another hour where is the professionalism in there. why wont we just go directly then to insurance provider than uses this agent facility type. they are not worth it. plus that they add in from what the insurance company will quote. my advise go directly to insurance company who will deliver the promise – fast, reliable and efficient.

They dont believe in after sales service.

I got insurance from yalla compare for my wife and son. They process is right away because they need money but after they will not bother to reply you. I already called them and ask for the updates they said it is linked with your emirates ID but when I reached at clinic it was not linked to the emirates ID.

I wanted to reach the Ms khatija but she did not answered my call and also did not reply on whatsapp. She can not reply but she can put the status on whatsapp. Now I know no reply one has emotions that some one is in hospital and waiting for response, they just enjoy putting whatsapp status. In result I spent 800 AED because I have to see the doctor without insurance.

I dont know other options in market but dont go with them they do not care.
