I ordered my SECRID wallet online because the specific colour that I wanted in store it had a few scratches on it and they didn’t have anymore on stock so they advised me to just get it online; and so I did but wow it took them so long to deliver. Promised delivery by 3 to 4 days, I waited for almost 2 weeks.

Four days ago, I purchased an MSI laptop from this store. After using it for a few days, I realized that I had made the wrong choice. The 18-inch screen is simply too large for me, as I had been using 16-inch laptops for years. I wanted to exchange it for a 16-inch model from the same store, which actually costs around AED 500 less than the laptop I purchased. Unfortunately, the store refused to accommodate such a simple request. I was given only two options: keep my current laptop, or pay an additional AED 7,500 to exchange it for the cheaper 16-inch model. That makes absolutely no sense. The reason for the refusal was that I had opened the MSI box by cutting the factory seal. But this is unavoidable if you want to inspect and test a laptop before deciding whether it suits your needs. A sealed laptop cannot be properly evaluated. What is even more disappointing is that no one informed me before payment that opening the box would make any return or exchange impossible. This policy is only printed on the back of the receipt, which you receive after you have already paid. Future customers should be aware of this. I wasn’t asking for a refund. I simply wanted to exchange my laptop for another model from the same store. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of customer service and flexibility, especially when purchasing a premium product. A customer willing to stay with the same store and simply switch to a different model should not be treated this way.

Accepted an order and payment without stock

I have placed an order online and the order went through and deducted the amount. Then I received an email from them that they have to cancel the order because the item is not available. They initially mentioned that they have not deducted the amount then sent a separate email sending I will receive the money back in 3-14 working days. Don’t buy from virgin megastore. They are an reliable and hard to get in touch with regardling your order. Get your gadgets from other trusted sellers like sharaf DG or Jumbo.

I purchased a product with a one year offer from Dubai mall branch. When we moved to the new month I didn’t get my offer , I contacted the deals woman several times by phone and she said it will renew automatically don’t worry after a long time waiting she said the offer had canceled and there nothing I could do . I contacted the company via the complaint number or via text message , and off course both were worse than each other .
They no longer responded via text message and the problem has not been resolved yet .
They just want to sale the product they have and charge for their one year subscription. After that they leave the customer confused , disregarding the matter and not contacting them .

Accepted an order and payment without stock

I placed an online order with Virgin Megastore which they accepted and deducted payment from my card and received an order acknowledgement email. Its when I called the support line (after few hours) that I was notified that my order didnt go through. Even then the support staff didnt disclose the reason. It’s after insisting she mentioned there is no stock.
Why did they accept payment for out of stock product ? Why was there no intimation of this issue ? This seemed FRAUDULENT. This wasnt expected from a reputed store like Virign Megastore. Even the responses from the support team (via whatsapp) was very sluggish. They took an hour to respond to fundamental questions.
I would alert buyers of such unreliable services.

Ordered a mobile phone case for pick-up, got the confirmation stating they will contact me once it is ready. WhatsAppd them on the first working day after and they said it will take 2 working days for it to be ready. Messaged them again on the 3rd working day morning and they said I will get an email on the same day. Messaged them in the evening and they respond by saying the item was damaged and the order will be cancelled. Refund is going to take 3-7 working days.
Why was a damaged item even up for sale on their online platform? Do they really only have 01 in stock? Its a phone cover! My mistake for not ordering something through Amazon like I usually do. Atleast their customer service is super friendly and helpful.

Worst delivery in Dubai

I love the vibe and various stuff inside the physical store. Visit it regularly with the whole family. But when you need to order something as a gift or because the item is too big, just forget about it. They are constantly referring to a supplier with no status of your delivery. My last order (which was actually a gift) had dispatched status for one week. ONE WEEK! Ridiculous.

Just google it before ordering something online. You will find more faster and cheaper options.

Violation of the terms of delivery.

On December 4, I placed an order for the Shokz OpenRun Pro Wireless Neckband Headphones with Mic – Beige for 699 AED, with Order number 71499AD.

The delivery conditions promised “Same-day to 2-day delivery.” However, as of the evening of December 6, the order has not been delivered, forcing me to cancel it. This delay has not only wasted my time but has also disrupted the plans for a birthday celebration.

I recommend not relying on the promised delivery times and suggest considering an alternative service.

Hi. Today I have bought a mobile Samsung in Virgin MOE. Hope I am not mistaken with the name, store assistant Edgar helped me.. he knows the product excellent. He quickly explained me all the strong points in comparison with similar models, responded all my questions and doubds, explained me fast and clear about all the warranties, time frames, and difference of the mechanism if I buy it in store or online e t c I was impressed. Cancelled order under false pretenses

I have purchased en e-copy of MS Office. Paid order was not delivered, a person called “Hussein” in the web chat said the order will not be delivered till I send my ID cause he cannot identify me. My reply was simple – i do not share my ID in the internet, if you don’t deliver – then you have to cancel. And my order was cancelled, though this nice guy “could not identify me”.

So the outcome is – you can get any order cancelled cause Virgin does not need to identify you here. But you cannot get your order delivered via email until you present your ID in the web chat.

I visited the store in DHM and bought a head phone as a gift, it was attempted to be returned by the end receiver less than 48 hours in its original packaging and the store refused to return it claiming it was opened and used. when i visited the store myself to sort it out. The manager was rude, unprofessional and repulsive. He claimed that the headphones were well used which makes it suspicious for the store selling used items since it was in it is original package. They refused to give me the money and kept the headphones. A day later they contacted me and offered me 80% of my money which again is strange. I am buzzles at this behavior and trying to get my money back. Please be aware and check the items in the store before taking it home even if they don’t agree know that they may scam you.

Many people talk in these reviews about the products but I commend the staff for amazing customer centric service.

I called to confirm availability of a gopro today and Otterbach advised me to wait 3 days as the price was about to drop for a seasonal promotion… And he would put one behind for me for next week.

Why? Because he didn’t want me to see it discounted next week and be annoyed that I had paid a higher price.

I think that’s amazing and great service … Thoughtful and definitely customer centric. They will now have a customer for life…

Poor customer service

I went back to dubai mall branch to return my item bought last week, Hana the customer service in charge that time advise me that my item can’t be replaced, she was so rude on me while discussing about the terms I insisted to speak to sales in charge as the product I bought was not good, after a day it was already broken, at that time the merchandiser was on break, and she took my number and advised she’ll call me back, unfortunately i didn’t recieve any call, i went back and Andrea (customer service that time) assisted us very simpe and easy like quick scan the reciept and change my item! How come I didn’t recieve the same treatment from HANA?! They are both customer service representative.
