I love it when delivery riders follow instructions and a bit shout out to them for always delivering no matter the time especially during these hot weather. We live in a villa and when I order groceries we have a box outside to put the orders and its just nice that they make sure to leave it in a proper condition and to close up the box before leaving.

I went on Talabat mart at 10pm still open/operating, I ordered from them and it said it would take around 30mins…30mins later still nothing until tried to cancel it, called customer service and they cancelled for me saying that there was no driver and that they would refund me. 5 days later still nothing and I tried talking to customer service again and all they are saying just wait?

Very misleading pricing and terrible customer support experience with Talabat.

The app displayed discounted item prices in the menu, making it look like those were the final prices, but I was charged a much higher amount at checkout. When I contacted support, nobody properly addressed the actual issue. Instead, I received multiple unnecessary calls (including late at night) and endless automated “issue resolved” emails while nothing was actually resolved.

Horrible robots with no empathy handling the complaint department and absent Management

I placed an order through Talabat on 17/03 and specifically requested a pizza without cheese. However, the pizza was delivered with cheese, making it incorrect and unusable for me. The total cost of the order was AED 47.30.

I immediately contacted customer support and requested that they coordinate with the restaurant to deliver the correct item. I was informed that they were unable to reach the restaurant, as it was not responding. Instead, I was offered only AED 15 in compensation, which I find unacceptable given the circumstances. I asked them again to call the restaurant and again they refused bluntly!

I would like to highlight that I paid the full amount for an order that was not prepared according to my request. Offering a partial compensation while closing the case does not fairly resolve the issue.

I am also disappointed with how this complaint was handled. The response felt scripted and lacked genuine understanding of the issue. A complete robot called Ameer Hamza, no empathy or dignity, repeating a script of sorry and apologies with no understanding at all. The next guy who called me lied to me and said he is the manager and the same script all over again.

Until today, no one from Talabat bothered to call or resolve the issue till the today (23/03/2026) whileI am recording this review.

They give me 15 AED compensation which I didn’t ask for and because they give me the compensation after calling their customer service they were unable to give me a refund because the 15 AED had already been credited to my account.

Requested a manager to call me back and I got the same excuse refund not possible enjoy the cold food!

*The rider are lazy to bring the food at the door, they even call me to pick up my order at the recieving area of the building although they’re allowed to enter the premises.
*They’re short tempered, the rider are so entitled that if they call you should answer right away not in a minute. If you fail to do they shouted,yell at you scolded you for not answering his call, I’ve experienced it and got humiliated by that driver. For only 5 mins. Talabat Woke Me Up at 2 AM With Nonstop Calls — No Resolution, No Respect

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

My recent experience with Talabat has been extremely disappointing.

After a delayed order (over 1.5 hours for an order placed at 9 PM), I contacted support and requested escalation. Around half an hour later, I received a call from the “complaints department,” but it felt very scripted — the responses were repeated and no resolution was offered. I was told that “management” would call me.

At 2 AM, my phone started ringing continuously until I picked up. The calls were presented as “management,” but the interaction felt no different from the earlier call center. What was most concerning was the timing — being contacted in the middle of the night, repeatedly, without any consideration for customer convenience. When I raised that this was highly inappropriate, the conversation simply continued as if nothing had been said.

As of the next day, there has been no resolution or meaningful follow-up. This raises real concerns about customer service standards and whether proper policies are in place to handle escalations.

I share this feedback so that people are aware of what they may experience with Talabat, as the company has not taken responsibility for resolving such inappropriate practices.

This is the fourth time I’ve had a horrible experience with Talabat. I ordered food, and the app showed it was delivered – but I never received anything. The delivery guy never answered his phone, and I was left hungry and frustrated.

To make things worse, Talabat’s call center is useless. There’s no real help, no accountability – just wasted money, time, and stress. It’s beyond disappointing.

I have ordered a product from talabat application and wrong item has been delivered to me. When i have escalated the case with ticket number on talabat application they are unable to help me. They are putting all the blame on customer and saying we don’t have any option to refund the payment or refund the product. Secondly when i have escalated from complaint team they are thinking that they own talabat or they are the owner of talabat. Customer service agent and complaint agent is saying that if you will escalate the matter to higher authorities than resolution will remain the same . How any person can say this comments to any of the customers. Issue still get unresolved without giving any proper resolution to me and they have disconnected the line twice on customer. Worst customer service and complaint team rude behavior with customer are not exceptable.

less than a star.. they never take responsibility Talabat support staff are prisoners to a rigid process. it is well known that Talabat are responsible of any mistake happens (like a totally wrong order) !! yet they fail to comply to this responsibility, and the sad part is that they take customers light!! sad, but true. Talabat Delivery Service Issue

I’m a regular customer with Talabt for many years, today I had the worst incident with your team where I placed an order for lunch from one of my common restaurants and after 25 min I called the restaurant to check they informed me food was ready and rider didn’t reach yet .
Hence I contacted help center to inform them that rider will be late and food will be cold unbeatable, so better to cancel
However, they ignored me and still sent the rider with food after more 45min which of course was cold
I told them I don’t want to accept the order and since for more than 6 hours I tried to get a refund for talabt delivery mistake with no help at all
It’s not about money it’s about principal that I should not be forced to pay money for food
I don’t recommend anyone to use their scamming services , I’ll not let this go and I’ll not pay for this no matter what it takes

Urgent Complaint Regarding Misleading Information and Refund Issue

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience using Talabat Pro and your customer service. I was given conflicting and misleading information by multiple customer service agents regarding my subscription and refund eligibility, which has resulted in an unfair refusal of my refund.

Before subscribing to Talabat Pro, I contacted your customer service team to confirm the cancellation and refund policy. I was explicitly informed that I could cancel at any time and receive a refund. However, when I attempted to cancel on 27/02, I was given contradictory responses from different agents:
• One agent assured me that my subscription would be canceled and my refund processed within 48 hours.
• Another agent later promised a refund within 24 hours.
• Finally, the last agent completely denied my refund request, citing the 15-day trial period had expired.

This inconsistency and misinformation are unacceptable. I subscribed to Talabat Pro based on incorrect guidance from your team, and now I am being penalized for their mistake. Additionally, the service has been disappointing, with slow response times, untrained staff, and an impractical free delivery threshold, making Talabat Pro ineffective for me.

I expect Talabat to take responsibility for the misinformation provided by your representatives and issue the refund as initially promised. I also request that you address the lack of consistency in customer service responses to prevent similar issues for other users.

Please escalate this matter to the appropriate department and provide a resolution at the earliest. If my request is not addressed satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue further.

Turning a Loyal Customer into a Foe

I used to be a loyal Talabat customer, recommending it to everyone I know. But after my recent experience, I can no longer support this brand.
I encountered a major issue with Talabat’s 50% off offer (up to 30 AED). I selected items from a participating restaurant, and the discount was applied before I proceeded to pay. However, once I completed the payment, I was charged a different, higher amount. Despite the app showing the correct price before payment, the total changed without any explanation.
When I tried to contact Talabat, the app had no direct support options, no live chat, and an auto-reply to my email that provided no help. After reaching out on Facebook Messenger, I explained the issue, only to be met with denials and requests for impossible “checkout pictures” proof. Despite offering app logs and explanations, I was ignored.
Then, to make matters worse, the order I received was completely wrong. The receipt taped to the package didn’t match the items I ordered. I provided photos and more details, but again, no real response. Hours later, I received a call acknowledging their mistake and promising to send a request for additional pictures to process a refund. They never followed through.
Finally, after all the time I wasted trying to resolve this, they sent me 19 AED as compensation for a bill of over 61 AED. It’s about the principle. Offering such a small refund for a completely wrong order is humiliating to a customer. The least they could have done was fully refund the meal. Instead, they turned a loyal advocate into someone determined to share this awful experience with everyone I know.
Talabat’s customer service has failed me, and until they take real responsibility for their errors, I cannot recommend this app.

Placed an order on talabat and ordered a particular box of charcoal which was a great deal and after placing the order my order was replaced and they delivered my a small box of charcoal and while I complained to an agent he told me i can see the large box the app description and i shall wait untill i receive my order and to my surprise i received a smaller box and when i spoke to another agent he just said clearly it was the correct order and i have to forcefully accept it. My experience with Talabat was a complete disaster. The customer service was atrocious; they ignored my complaints about the terrible food quality. Despite multiple attempts to get in touch, they never responded meaningfully. The food was off, and their solution was to offer a ridiculous 15 AED voucher on an 85 AED order. Taking an order that cannot be delivered

Looks like Talabat is not capable nor willing to to serve its customers. I made an order to be delivered to JAFZA many times, and many times I got my delivery. Today I ordered and the driver called me saying he hasn’t got the gate pass. Driver’s gate pass is not for me to sort out. Why did the order go through in the first place? Is it that hard to set the application so that restaurants that cannot access JAFZA simply decline the order.

On the top of that, I told driver to meet me at gate 9 when he called me (wasting my time picking up an order although I paid for delivery). The driver calls me after sometime to tell me he is at gate 12 and I should come there (I haven’t the time to accommodate him, he is the one delivering, not me). So driver makes a decision where he will deliver?
What a circus, unprofessional and lazy service.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with a delivery boy from your company, Talabat. The individual in question, Mr. Muhammad Israr Ghulam Mustafa from Pakistan, displayed highly inappropriate behavior. His bike number is l3930.

Mr. Mustafa was very disrespectful and lacked basic courtesy in his interaction with me. His behavior was so offensive that I considered calling the police. He used abusive and vulgar language, which is entirely unacceptable.

It is crucial that your delivery personnel maintain a high standard of professionalism and respect towards customers. I strongly recommend providing Mr. Mustafa with training on customer service and communication etiquette to prevent such incidents in the future.

Dear all

I am extremely upset and frustrated with with my very first TALABAT for LULU hypermaket delivery.

Your driver picked up rotten produce or unripe or sour and they didn’t follow any instructions on the order comments

And I had to stay awake till 11pm to receive it even though I placed the order at 8pm

Then I messaged customer service and shared all the images and I told I need someone to pick them up quickly as it was getting extremely late – and I made it clear that I reject this quality of groceries and I want a full refund of the 7 items I shared images of.

He assured me that all 7 items will be refunded about 64.3 dirhams but I only got 16 dirhams refund !!!!!

Now where did I go wrong ? I went out of my way to ensure I contact customer service immediately on your extremely slow chat application which took another 30mins of my time and offered to wait for a return

but the customer service agent basically lied about the refund of the 7 items !

I’m definitely rating you 0 for this behavior as an organization and definitely last time to use TALABAT even for restaurants

It’s simply unacceptable that you send customers rotten / bad produce

I ordered fillet o fish from Mc Donald international city, to be without tartar sauce as i have allergy but after first bite i noticed that i received my order with double tartar and no cheese which it was not good for me at all, i tried to remove it by tissue but taste still remains. Very bad costumer services

I keep checking the grocery late and finding stolen goods …. costumer service refuses to refund. The delivery guys are not professional what so ever!!! They put meat and chicken in all bags with vegetables and fruits with leads to them leeking all over them and contaminating all goods. They loose more than one item and either don’t check or steal the goods. They ask for money at the door if they don’t like the tips. Costumer services don’t have a phone number. They don’t have a quick access. Their main target is to sweet talk you and close the case. They don’t want and have no intention of escalating the case to be solved… they would rather leave it unsolved than to do so. They are worse than instashop !!!! They are the worst

NOT WILLING TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE

I used the mobile app to place an order using my credit card.Without entering my cvv number,Talabat charged me twice resulting in me paying 112.27extra.Luckily i was able to get in touch with Talabat(after trying unsuccessfully many times)&the agent cancelled the 2nd order.However instead of returning the 112.27,he said that he will return same in the form of Talabat credit,although I asked him repeatedly to refund the money back to my credit card. On Wednesday 28-Feb-24, I ordered food from AlBaik via Talabat guest at 6.30 pm and paid full amount in advance with my credit card. I waited until 9.30 pm as it was showing that food will be delivered shortly. And at 9.30 pm it showed food is delivered without delivering it to me. I tried contacting and unfortunately there is no channel to connect with Talabat. I sent emails to customer care and they are so unprofessional that they didn’t even bother to respond. Very disappointed. Myself and family didn’t have proper meal (though paid full) and the whole evening got spoiled.

Unreliable & Insulting – Talabat’s Unethical Practice

I recently had the displeasure of using Talabat’s food delivery service, & I must say that my experience was nothing short of abysmal. Not only did they demand additional charges after I had already paid for my order in full using my credit card, but their delivery person had the audacity to insult me by implying that I didn’t have enough money left on my card. This level of unprofessionalism & unethical behavior is absolutely unacceptable, & I feel compelled to warn others about the pitfalls of using Talabat.

First & foremost, the fact that Talabat would ask for additional charges after an order has been paid for in full is a clear indication of their incompetence & lack of transparency. This is not only inconvenient for the customer, but it reeks of a company that is more concerned with squeezing every last dime out of its patrons than providing a reliable & honest service.

Furthermore, the behavior of their delivery person was nothing short of disgraceful. Instead of handling the situation with tact & respect, they resorted to insulting & demeaning me by suggesting that I couldn’t afford the order. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply offensive. As a customer, I expect to be treated with dignity & respect, especially when I am paying for a service.

In addition to these egregious issues, the overall customer service provided by Talabat was subpar at best. When I attempted to address these problems with their support team, I was met with dismissive responses & a lack of accountability. It is clear that Talabat has little regard for the well-being & satisfaction of its customers, & I am appalled by their lack of integrity.
A clear indicator of a company that lacks integrity & respect for its customers.

Bad Service

I have been a customer here for many years but sad to say how many times I experienced when I ordered food, Talabat did not ensure their tie-up to deliver the new foods. Last month I ordered food in the restaurant worth 55Aed I received gross food and I complained with photos requesting to refund my money Talabat refund only 15aed from 55Aed my bill is 89aed because their some order but the other one is too bad smell the beef because is mansaf with yogurt. Yesterday I received my order from Grocery Ice Cream Ube Macapuno worth 35aed but they gave us vanilla flavor the bad thing is the ice cream is expired not ice cream is crushed ice. I immediately contacted the Talabat but was sad to hear until now no one had reached me. Tried to reach also to email and send a video .. whenever I order the wrong items still I accept but for damaged foods and expensive please Talabat am not here at your service to tolerate this matter or else I will contact Dubai Municipality for food safety and Dubai consumer if you are not taken seriously regarding on these.

Almost two hour delivery from rider claiming 23km ride

I ordered a pepes through talabat that claimed it would be delivered within 68 minutes. I received a message to say it was on the way around 11.35 almost one hour after ordering. I thought that’s ok as will be close to the 68 minutes time frame. Almost two hours after a message to

I have placed an order to west zoon supermarket to get masfi water bottle, and my order went through and the total amount was deducted from my credit card , followed by talabt msg stating that one item is not available and the amount will be kept in talabt wallet for the use in FUTURE ordering from restaurants accepting to redeem this amount !!!
Talabat is a partner in this mess since they don’t supervise what is being advertised by the providers and by forcing me to order from places I don’t know just for the sake of redeeming the money I have not chose to spend or lose!!

I ordered food where some items were missing. Talabat’s customer service explicitly stated that the refund would be credited to the Talabat Pay wallet. However, they issued a simple voucher after 3 weeks of the complaint date for a limited time only, which is not acceptable. All riders of talabat have the daring to ask send me location pin. So you are in a meeting, in front. Of your ceo and ordered food before meeting. The address is explained so well and after 5 mins you start getting their calls and no stop calls. They don’t bother looking at instructions, they just want an easy way out. So you have to go out of your meetings first save every stupid random person’s number in your WhatsApp and then send them location. Later on you also see them looking at your statuses because now they are jn your contacts and you forgot how many idiots called you and you added them. They just don’t want to type that address in their maps app. They just want easy way out. And all foreigners have responded to their request each time that now they are immune to it so much so, that one guy had the audacity to tell me in his Indian accent, well if you don’t share location sorry I will cancel your order. So the rider has the power to cancel my order just because I didn’t send him location pin. But what about the address that is already there. Talked a million times to their managers and all they do is, we give you voucher.. wth am I gonna do with this voucher man, order again and face the same head ache again. 😒 they have worst Management and worst riders

This delivery service provider should be shutdown. They are thieves and scammers. 9/10 times you won’t receive your food and the new trend is drivers admitting that they’ve been assigned multiple orders at once and make their rounds delivering these orders together whilst they get cold. Customer service is a joke and only use poor worded Shakespearan-like replies to waste your time even more with no eventual outcome. They barely ever compensate you and of course the 100’s of refunds that are initiated will go into your talabat pay account instead of back in your bank, so now you’re stuck having to order from them again. They say bank card discounts . When availed trasaction declined !! Not once but everytime. First thought its problem with my card. Used second card with discounts . Finally accepts card which has no discount !!!!

Extra charges for every order

Talabat has taken over from Zomato for delivery of food since more than 6 months. Zomato used to be quite friendly and understanding to customer needs.

But Talabat seems to be enjoying the traffic and are unduly charging extra amount in order to increase their profits. Let me share with you how:

1. Firstly, they charge AED 9 for each delivery as compared to AED 7 from Zomato which was standard. Now this AED goes up higher if the location is a little far. But are the riders delivering it specifically for you…no they are carrying 2 or more deliveries in the same region.
2. Secondly, they stated Talabat pro charging AED 19 monthly, for the year subscription but is AED 29 on monthly basis. So if you subscribe you pay AED 19 per month but save on delivery of AED 9 per order. That means on an average you have to order at least 2 times to recover that amount that might increase your order frequency. Surprisingly they have also started charging service fees of AED 3.5 to AED 3.9 per order. So the AED 9 which you saved you gave back AED 4 to them for the services.

I want to ask
• What are you charging this AED 9 for?
• Is it not service including delivery ?
• What is the extra service you are giving me
• The food prices are higher by 15% than regular restaurant prices….
Please check it anytime with any restaurant.

Now you enjoy a benefit of AED 5 per delivery as AED 4 is taken back against the service. So to recover AED 19 which you pay per month you have to order every week.

So actually, if you see, there is not benefit in using Talabat. They force you to pay more to get the services offering special package but charge you for everything as a normal user.

So i decided i will not use Talabat and will explore other delivery options as the are fooling their customers. When i asked they said the service charge of AED is standard on all orders. Zomato never charged this amount, and i don’t understand what is this amount for.

So you guys decide if Talabat is offering a good service or just fooling us and making money.

Each order of supermarket so many items missing. You need to discover yourself they dont tell you. Plus system when wanting to get refund shows like your items didnt even exist but you psid for it and are in invoice. Also never they pay back delivery charges back like qareem plus they give appology. What a difference in service and professionality. I have paid subscription to talabat to become a VIP member few days later I wanted dinner and made order online through talabat from Hardee’s unfortunately I didn’t receive my order and I had to sleep with no food of course no one communicated with me also they have charged me for delivery which they should not do because I am aVIP member and they just said we are sorry and we will refund your money back and will give $3 compensation now I was trying to help talabat to know the issues and problems they have unfortunately there customer care manager Mr. Ahmed spoke to me and gave me fouls information about what happened instead of being a professional to solve the issues now I have to raise the issue to the management which unfortunately I can’t reach.

We have used Talibat on several occasions. The vast majority were either not delivered or delivered so late that they were sent back as cold and inedible.

On one occasion the item delivered by Pizza Hut did not arrive but was shown as delivered. They swore blind that it had been delivered. Eventually, after investigation, they admitted it had not been delivered. Clearly the item was taken by the delivery driver for personal use, and not for the first time no doubt. Perhaps Talibat translated into English means “thieves” !

However, the biggest issue is the lack of “customer service” and we use the word service very loosely ! Their constant sarcastic and meaningless apologies and fake promises to resolve any problems are contemptible at best and fraudulent at worst.

In trying to recover our money we eventually revceived an online message saying it would be returned within 5-7 working day. That time scale elapsed and no sign of any refund. When we complained they changed their mind and said the refund can only be used in the App.

There followed a series of nearly 50 emails in a 36 hour period featuring the following low IQ buffoons – some even had more than one attempt – none of which was capable of solving the problem –

Frankly we will never get out money back but we don’t care. Its not about the money – we leave bigger tips at restaurants – it’s about the principal of unscrupulous vagabonds thieving their ay through life.

Our review is here to help others. If just one person decides not to give free food to a delivery driver or a cent to Talibat then it will have been worth the time and effort.

I have dealt with a rider who took off with my change, and had a non working number registered, I waited all night for the matter to be resolved, Talabat was not able to trace no call the rider untill late after noon next day, he did not bring change, he gave back the full 500aed, i reached to the point of emailing consumer services and the police for the unlawful act, i waited all day for talabat managers to call me but no one did, when the rider returned the money, he asked for more payment than the actual bill. Completely unprofessional for a company such at talabat. To be honest feels like a scam company now.

Case: The rider never gave back a cash change of AED390

This occurred at 11pm last night, no manager from Talabat has even bothered to call, and ensure the safety of refund. This should be a criminal offense, an unlawful act to run off with a customer’s money.

Refund of missed item amount to Card

I have requested them to put back the money to my bank account. The request was raised since 23 days and money is not yet refunded.
Also, when I raised query through their mobile app chat, they reply and just close the chat without the actual resolution.
Sometimes, they reply in Arabic instead of the language which customer is messaging.

They put your money in Talabat wallet and not back to your card. Who wants to spend again on same app if they already gave you a terrible experience?!!!
