The team at Surf House Dubai started surfing here all the way back in 1992. There were only a handful of surfers and plenty of waves along the entire stretch of Dubai's coast. In 2005 Scott Chambers graduated from a degree in Surf Science and Technology (the world's only Bachelor of Science in Surfing) and returned home to put his degree to use. Having always appreciated Dubai's potential for waves, his goal was to show others how much fun you can have in the Gulf and provide qualified safe instruction to learn surfing. Swarmed by an overwhelming response from both local and expat residents of Dubai... Surf House Dubai was born in October 2005. Surf House Dubai is now home to over 3000 members of like minded people with a respect for the ocean and love for the sport. The Surf House is now the home for everything surfing and stand-up paddle in the region. Learn to surf/SUP, get your gear, improve your surfing and live the lifestyle.
