I ordered a pair of Nike Vomero Premium from Sun & Sand Sports, and what I received was absolutely unacceptable. The shoes arrived in a degraded/defective condition, with visible glue all over the sides and an actual cut on the shoe. This is not what anyone should receive when paying for a new pair of shoes.

I immediately tried to return the item. However, when the delivery driver arrived, he refused to accept the return and told me that I had to contact customer service first. Fine — I tried.

And this is where the nightmare started.

I called customer service and was told that someone would call me back within 24–48 hours. Nobody called.

I tried contacting them through chat, with no proper response or resolution. I also emailed customer service, yet I am still left chasing them for a basic return of a defective product that THEY delivered.

Why should the customer have to waste hours trying to get a defective item returned?

The whole process is unbelievably frustrating. You receive a damaged/defective product, the driver refuses the return, customer service doesn’t properly respond, emails go nowhere, chats are useless, and phone support simply tells you that someone will call you back — but nobody actually does.

This is not customer service. This is the customer being forced to do all the work to correct a problem that was not caused by them.

I have wasted an unreasonable amount of time dealing with this. I ordered a new pair of shoes expecting a normal shopping experience, and instead I received a defective item and had to spend my time chasing the company just to get a return processed.

Absolutely unacceptable. Extremely disappointing. Worst experience I have had with an online sports retailer.

If you are considering ordering expensive shoes online, think twice before ordering from Sun & Sand Sports. The product quality control and, even worse, the after-sales/return support have been extremely disappointing in my experience.

0/10 experience. I would not recommend Sun & Sand Sports to anyone.

I placed an order (Order No: AE03582619) for a Jason Markk Repel Shoe Protection Spray (60 AED). The package arrived unsealed, and the spray bottle was completely empty.

When I raised a complaint, customer support dismissed my issue by claiming the product was sent from “fresh stock and in a sealed package”—effectively accusing me of lying over a 60 AED item.

Nike Shoes rupture damage and fading of the sole color in 6 Months Period

I purchased Nike Vomero 18 shoes on 31-Oct-2025 from Sun and Sand Sports Dubai. Unfortunately, within a limited period of use, the shoes have developed serious quality issues, including rupture damage and fading of the sole color.

I am extremely surprised and disappointed by this condition, especially considering that the shoes were not heavily used. Such defects raise serious concerns regarding the product quality and authenticity of the Nike shoes being sold.

I claimed 2 times in Sun and Sands Sports it was rejected just like this i will never ever buy anything from sun and sands anymore and will not suggest to any friends and family members

Poor customer service and don’t honor their obligations

My experience with Sun & Sand Sports has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. They delivered the wrong shoe size not once, but twice. After finally returning the item more than a week ago, I am still waiting for my refund, even though their own app states it should be processed within 1–2 days. I have now been struggling with them for over a month between wrong deliveries and refund delays. This level of service is unacceptable and has caused a lot of frustration and wasted time.

Urgent: Delayed Order and Lack of Communication

I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding my recent order with your company. I placed an order that was supposed to be delivered by Sunday, June 1st, as confirmed in the email I received. However, it is now three days past the promised delivery date, and I have yet to receive my order.

Despite multiple calls to your customer service team, I have not received any clear or helpful updates. I was told that the issue had been escalated to the relevant team and the courier company, but I have not received any follow-up or call from the courier. On Monday, I was advised to wait 24 to 48 hours, and when I followed up today, I was told to wait another 48 hours. This is completely unacceptable.

Furthermore, I have not received any email updates or clear communication regarding the status of my order. This lack of transparency and accountability is extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on your customer service standards. So far, this has been the worst customer service experience I’ve had in the UAE.

I expect an immediate and concrete update on the status of my order, including a confirmed delivery date and an explanation for the delay. I also request that you take appropriate action to ensure this issue is resolved without further delay.

Terrible costumer service – I’ll never order again

I ordered 3 pairs of socks from Sun & Sand Sports. Only 2 arrived. I followed up multiple times by email, and finally they told me the third item was out of stock and I would be refunded. I clearly said I don’t want the item anymore.

Days later, a delivery guy came with the cancelled item. I refused it, but he came back and left it at my door anyway. ( IMile delivery service ) I even received an email saying it was delivered — seriously?

On top of that, I cancelled another order before it was even delivered. I followed their instructions, refused the package, and was told I’d get a refund. Still nothing.

I’ve followed up multiple times. NO reply. NO refund. ZERO communication.

It’s just socks, but the way they handled it is unbelievable. If this is how they treat customers, I will never order from them again. There are better stores with better service in the UAE.

Last month, I bought a bicycle for my son from one of their branches. They promised to deliver on tuesday and failed to committ. Following up, they denied that they promised to deliver, and another incharge mrntioned that their driver is not available and banged the phone. Then I had to drive and collect it myself.
Last week, I ordered a pair of running shoes online and received delivery acknowledgement. 3 days later, it was showing ( delivery unfulfilled )I called them and they said they will get back to me within 48 hours. They have a call centre, online chat only to say that we will check and revert, we have escalate and so on. Lies and lies one after the other.

I placed an order on 26th and the delivery was committed on the 6th. To my surprise, they haven’t even initiated the shipment until the 5th. I contacted SS several times just to hear thet” be patient, no worries and so on. They don’t just care about the customer. I have no clue when the shipment is going to arrive.

Please do not fall onto their trap. They show slightly cheaper price to attract clients only to fall into their trap. Now I doubt whether the product is genuine or not. How can someone trust such irresponsible and horrible people.

A very disappointed experienced with your return/exchande policy procedure!

We’ve purchased a Fuel Jug 64 oz at DCC branch and trying to replace after 2 days of purchased as my son said, its too big for him. The price tag is still there and not really open coz on the first sight of my son, directly he said “its too big”.

The scenario during the replacement was the staff is insisting that there is a policy of no exchange/return for that particular item and obligating each consumer to read the policy written in front of the counter. Consumer was in your place with zero knowledge regarding your procedure, we will be there just yo buy your items and IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY DURING THE PAYMENT IN THE COUNTER THAT YOU MAY SIMPLY ADVISE YOUR CUSTOMER THAT THIS ITEMS ARE NOT INCLUDED INTO RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY!! SIMPLY SCAMMING AND I MAY SAY “DESPERATE TO SELL” thats why your communication is intendedly POOR to extend to your customer.

Called Customer Service a thousand times and every single time received the same response “We will escalate the manner” “someone will call you back” (which they never did). Have tried cancelling the order and requesting a refund and they told me I had to wait to receive the order and reject it, which makes absolutely no sense since the items are still in their warehouse (called the courier company and the items have still not been handed over to them) and that would mean I would need to wait at least a month to even begin processing a refund that I am sure will take forever!!! Horrendous experience of theft and damaged goods

I’ve had an unbelievably stressful time shopping here. Purchased a gift online (full price) received damaged – see photos. Their response? ‘No refund allowed and rest assured the item hasn’t been used’. Regardless, seal is broken and someone has definitely opened the product. The worst part of it all, when the delivery came, the driver stole an existing delivery on my doorstep. It has been 5 days and his phone has been off. SSS are not taking the matter seriously. The CCTV footage has been shared with the police. It has taken all of my time and energy to try and retrieve the parcel (which I paid extra to get next day delivery from the UK ahead of the weekend). Whole thing is a mess. They don’t respond to calls or emails. Please do not shop with them.

Ordered bathrobe with XS size, however, the sleeves were longer than usual. This means i can not wear it. Raised a claim so that i can return the item. I did chat 3 times so far with them, on their online platform. Despite repeating myself 3 times, because every time a new person tried to assist, they were all friendly & understanding.
However, the person who considers himself as Customer care department member, named Zaid, he needs to attend Customer care001 course. Probably it is not even his fault even.
Explained to him the case twice & he simply copied & pasted his initial email. I asked him to share a contact person name+number so that we avoid back & forth emails, again he replied with typical robotic approach claiming that they have a policy of no exchnage for such item with a wrong item link, showing the size & clear view that he is not reading my emails.
SSS Dubai Customer Care team, policies are placed to guide us during general cases, not to blindly apply them & lead you to lose customers trust & respect. Apologize for mentioning Zaid’s name, but you gave me no choice & i dont want to watse my time with unprofessional attitude. My dissatisfaction is against the customer care team, who pretend they care about their customer. For your reference, i wont be able to use the bathrobe & if you think you gained profit on an item which you didnt return, you need to think twice. I am not behind the money, it is purely about the concept & your so called “Customer Care” which you really dont care.You lost a regular customer.

From cancellation to return!

Ordered a basketball shoes and socks that is matching colors for my nephew, ordered and paid and they suddenly emailed me that the shoes is cancelled due to unavailability. They delivered my item to the wrong location and the delivery company named imile which is also as bad as sun and sands didn’t even bother themselves to call me and double check the location and just left the item in front of a random door knowing that my address is clearly mentioned in the order I placed. Imagine that they even left the item at a different flat number!!!!! My flat number is 1505 and they left it at a flat in a totally different building of number 1406, how is that even possible ??? The worst thing about it is that they took a picture of the wrong flat door and sent it me saying that we delivered while its obvious that its the wrong address!!!! Whenever i’m sending them an email or trying to contact their unprofessional customer service they keep saying that as per their records the item was delivered successfully. This is called stealing!! This is my first time shopping with this company and I am sharing my experience to warn other shoppers. I ordered items which according to their tracking links were delivered but of 5 items, only one was delivered.

I received a giftcard of 400 aed how many times i try i can not use this as a payment its been weeks and they still cant help me. Also I Returned an item weeks ago and i never received the money back. They keep saying they will raise my case and do their very best. But i do not see this. So they lost 550 aed of my money. No updates no nothing from their side. Very bad service im never ordering again. To me it will be easy to just give me a new giftcard of the total amount that they owe me.

Missing items

I purchased shoes and bag last March 24, 2022. I paid it through my bank. When I checked the track shipment, everything when well but when when I checked again last March 26, 2022, it’s says there that they it was already delivered. But I didn’t receive any call from the delivery man or who ever bring my order. Worst Customer Service Ever

Worst after sales service

Worst online shopping experience ever. It took 2 weeks for order to be delivered. I requested for a size exchange and waited for almost one month just to know that they had to initiate a refund due item unavailability🤬. As per their email they will only refund AED 114.62 when I originally purchased the item for AED 159.20. I checked terms and conditions, I haven’t read anything regarding refund charges. When I checked in their app, they issued another Invoice amounting to 114.62 net of discount that I have not availed when I purchased the item. Based on this invoice they initiated as refund based on the new invoice. Sounds like a scam, isn’t it? It took almost week before received my refund. They have the worst and unreliable CSRs.

i did this order online and got it on the 12th of February , size of the shoes were incorrcet and on spot i requested the return through the app . till the 28th of February nothing happened while they promose with 2 working days to max. 7 they do it.
i tried to contact the customer care many times with no feed back ..tried to cancel the request to redo a new one but system didnt allow me.
on the 2nd of March i chatted again to customer care with Shahd he told me that return cant’ be done anymore because i cancelled the request 2 days ago after more than 15 days of waiting them to collect the wrong iteam there policy get applied only on customers but not on them , they have everything in the system that proves i did the request same day of delivery and tried to contact and after more than 15 days i didnt knoe what else i could do rather than cancel the request and redo it again but seems thay study everything to fraud people.

now with an iteam that costs 500 dirhams with which i can’t do anything !!

I removed this App from my phone and won’t ever shop again from these stores.
I prefer to pay more and get a professional and honest service at this stage.

I did lot of shopping by SSS online but real challenge face to me when I have to return two items due to sizes. That is nightmare. Initially I have to request number of times for collect back the items and it was collected until now not returned after exchange and one item has to return amount still not given back the amount. The details are as followed. Still the matter is not resolved.

• Order No. AE01322023 SKU No. 008949680086. Your courier collected the shirt from my home. It is the case of change of size from Large to Medium. But until now it was not returned to me but your system showing that it is returned already. But we did not received back the medium size.

• Order No. AE01308978 SKU No. 190286598145. Your courier collected the trouser of Columbia from my home alongwith the shirt above mentioned. It is the case of return item. But until amount is not credited in my account and now I received a notification that this return is cancelled.

I am getting email from retail customer support after every month that matter is resolved or not. But no action has done and no body contacted me and not return my items and amount as well. Pictures of orders are attached for your reference.
