Warning — misleading listing, hidden fees & double delivery charge

Rented the car (Dodge Challenger SRT V8) from Sept 6, 12:00 PM to Sept 7, 12:00 PM. Here’s what went wrong. Point by point:

1. Wrong car colour: the ad showed a black car; we received a red one with no prior notice.
2. Late delivery / shortened rental — the car was supposed to arrive at 12:00 on Sept 6 but arrived at 13:00 (1 hour late). They picked the car up at 12:00 on Sept 7, so we effectively lost one hour of the rental with no compensation.
3. Hidden fees — we were charged a 5% card transaction fee and 50 AED Salik that were never disclosed before booking.
4. Double delivery charge! We were charged 150 AED twice for delivery, even though we were explicitly told beforehand that 150 AED covers both delivery and pickup. (We have written confirmation of that.)
5. Deposit vs insurance misrepresentation — an amount labelled as a “deposit” (250 AED) turned out to be treated as a daily insurance fee (250 AED per day) after we extended the rental. This was never explained in advance.
6. Unprofessional / unresponsive service — our messages were repeatedly ignored;
7. No verifiable presence — the company has no reliable location on Google Maps and gives the impression of an untrustworthy listing.

Conclusion: This experience felt misleading and potentially fraudulent. Do not book with this company. I urge the platform to investigate this listing, suspend the provider, and help affected customers get refunds.

I believe this company may be operating dishonestly. It appears that an individual, possibly of Egyptian origin, is managing the situation. I was initially informed that my deposit would be refunded within 21 working days, but communication has since stopped. I’ve already filed a dispute with my credit card provider and am currently exploring options to report this matter to the relevant authorities in Dubai. It’s unfortunate to experience this in what is considered a secure environment like the UAE, where such individuals seem to be taking advantage of people.

Damaged cars and deposit theft

This company is a company you should never ever rent a car from. Their cars are cars which were heavily damaged and (badly) repaired. It is dangerous to drive these cars. What is even more worse is that they steal your deposit. They will tell you that after three weeks the deposit will be returned but as soon as you request for the payback they will not answer your (text) messages anymore.

I rented this beautiful mustang. Service from the guy who came to drop this was impeccable, however, as per other reviews, the owner of this company does not return deposits and you’re left chasing endlessly. As of 45 days, no return of deposit. The guy on WhatsApp. Is belligerent blaming his processor. But this appears to be standard operating procedure at this organisation. I will be reporting them to the authorities in Dubai and will not be using them again on my next visit in December 23’. Looking at other reviews from over a year ago.. This is still occurring as of September 2023. Proceed with caution.

К сожалению ознакомился с отзывами только после того, как взял авто в аренду. Если бы раньше прочитал, что эти козлы не возвращают депозит назад – хрен бы там снял авто. Само авто уставшее максимально, грязное внутри, с кучей царапин. Прошел 21 рабочий день, а депозит в размере почти 2000 AED не возвращают. На связь выходят через раз, на вопросы когда вернут не отвечают. SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!

Please be careful don’t rent they steal your deposit!!

Hi Please be careful when you rent from them , they will take your deposit and when it’s time to return it they will fake damages with super exaggerated fees to fix it or delay the process of refund.. I still got my whole deposit unreturned by them!! Also I asked for a certain car and they brought me a different one with higher price and also they arrived at the car delivery location 2 hours late and made me and my friends wait at the airport for more than 2 hours! Moreover when I returned the car I was about to miss my flight back home because they didn’t arrive on time at the drop off location! Very unprofessional! I have an evidence as well and took pictures and videos of the car before and after I dropped it off and even if I believe that there is actual damage they claim is there it will cost them less than half the amount they’re planning to steal from me.. I already filed a case against them and gave them an opportunity also to rectify their mistake but unfortunately they were adamant not to. And BY THE WAY , I asked them for the CONTRACT/RENTAL AGREEMENT and the INVOICES for the claimed damages and they didn’t provide them!!! That’s a clear sign they’re hiding something.. my deposit was due for weeks now and they still didn’t give it back!!
