It was true when the first Starbucks opened in 1971, and it’s just as true today.
Back then, the company was a single store in Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market. From just a narrow shop front, Starbucks offered some of the world’s finest fresh-roasted whole bean coffees. The name, inspired by Moby Dick, evoked the romance of the high seas and the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders.
In 1981, Howard Schultz (Starbucks chairman, president and chief executive officer) had first walked into a Starbucks store. From his first cup of Sumatra, Howard was drawn into Starbucks and joined a year later.
In 1983, Howard travelled to Italy and became captivated with Italian coffee bars and the romance of the coffee experience. He had a vision to bring the Italian coffeehouse tradition back to the United States. A place for conversation and a sense of community. A third place between work and home. He left Starbucks for a short period of time to start his own Il Giornale coffeehouses and returned in August 1987 to purchase Starbucks with the help of local investors.
From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection.

Using Paper straw to be called eco-friendly?
Can’t enjoy the frappe while using paper straw If you are really trying to be eco friendly, you just gotta use paper cups+plastic straw than plastic cups+paper straw. Come on guys, the amount of plastic on cups is way more than the straw if you can’t see that🤦🏻♀️

To whom it may concern,
Greetings!
Im writing this to complaint your staff (Taj Wali Khan) for punching me in your respectful establishment. I never thought , you have this kind of staff who is aggressive and violent to a women without any reason. For him its just a joke, for me its not because he is not even my friend.
It happened today Nov.14 around 3:45-4pm. Shorooq community gate 2. Kindly investigate and do a necessary action for this. It is not acceptable especially he punched me without any reason and he did it twice for your information. I tried to let him come back but he run away and his reaction was like teasing me! Is this right ,after you’ve done something to someone, instead of apologizing his laughing at me while running. He needs to be terminated! I am your regular customer and because of this i swear i will never ever order again.
Starbucks cofee shop d3 branch dubai design district have a great ambiance. It is a perfect place to spend your time, and study ad well.. Staff was friendly .. great warm accomodating the costumer. The taste of cofee is fantastic . And foods are tasty.. come and visit them on dubai design district

Starbucks hear me out… Your Croissant is by far the worst croissant in all of the UAE. Why are you still using the same horrible supplier?
Starbucks in Paris for example has one of the best croissants in Paris believe it or not… But the one in the UAE is just terrible. Big saggy and tastes like rubber. Don’t let me start about reheating it 😵💫
