Cake order
I used to love Shakespeare and Co. I’m not criticising the food quality that is still very good . I had a bad experience trying to order a simple strawberry tart for a birthday ( she only loves that one). I went to Arabian ranches branch 4 days before the birthday to order the tart but I was asked to come back only one day before the event. Today, I went back then but they couldn’t prepare it for 12:30pm, only 3pm ( too late for me). I then went to another branch, in Souk Al Bahar. I had to repeat 3 times what I wanted until the waiter direct me to the right person. I asked to order but the man told me that there was no strawberry tart because they were running out of strawberries. The quality of the service is so poor and people are not really competent ( probably because they are not trained enough). I won’t go back to these 2 branches once again. My grandparents used to have a cake shop and they would be horrified with the level of service.
