Refund of Defective Watch – Certina

I purchased this watch on 30th Jan from Rivoli ,the sales agent convinced me by saying that Certina is a good brand,it was my worst decision,I had to visit the customer service thrice but still tha watch had issue since it was a defective piece,finally that realized that it is a faulty watch in June and confirmed the refund ,the sales agent is asking me to wait since last 3 weeks and there has been no update as he keeps on saying internal approval ,it is the worst company and brand and no one respond to my email from Rivoli,please refrain from this brand

They gave old watch which was not functioning and full of scratch

I am shocked by the service and product quality at Rivoli. I purchased a watch as a birthday gift and didn’t wear it for almost 3 months. When I finally took it out to use for the first time, the automatic watch wasn’t working at all.

I took it to the service center, and to make things worse, the technician wrote in their notes that the watch is “full of scratches.” This is absolutely unacceptable because the watch was literally brand new and never worn even once. It felt like they sold me an old or previously used display piece.

For a brand that claims to offer premium products, this experience has been horrible. Instead of replacing or acknowledging the issue, they made it seem like it was my fault.

I trusted Rivoli, but after this, I will never purchase from them again. Extremely disappointed.

I already sent them multiple emails for sending my product at the earliest to the nearest location which I had already selected while ordering but in spite of being the second day they have not even thought of taking any initiative to make it delivered at the earliest and I am sure they can do it if they want to but as may be value of order is less they are not focusing on the Order. This is not at all a professional approach.

Very bad customer service agent Raghed in DFC mail

I visited the DFC omega store last Saturday . Only wanted a battery change . The staff Raghed was so reluctant to take my watch and kept insisting I go to Dubai mall . I said it’s ok pls take it and I will wait for a week no problem . He took the job with so much frustration . Said I would be informed by email once ready . Now get an automated msg saying it needs repairs costing 1865 !! Is this a joke . It’s a battery change . I declined the confirmation the msg asked . Called the store and Raghed instead of checking the issue asked me to call the Technican . So so rude and said it’s my job . I’m speaking to omega here not a fish market . The msg I got is Al about aesthetic change which is not required as the watch is in perfect condition and needs a battery change only . I want to speak to his manager . Horrible

Online Order Rejected

I placed an order for a watch on 14/05/2024 and did not receive any email confirmation or order status updates. After two days, I logged into the website again, and it showed the status as “Packing in progress.” I waited for three more days, and today the status is showing “Order Rejected.”

I contacted their customer service center and was informed that the model I ordered is out of stock and that my payment would be refunded within 15 days. This is completely unacceptable. How can a confirmed order be simply rejected? Moreover, why should I have to wait 15 days to get my money back? This is very poor service.

Title: Unbelievably Terrible Service at Rivoli Outlet Mall, UAE

I recently had the most exasperating experience at the Rivoli store in the outlet mall, UAE, and I feel compelled to share the nightmare that unfolded during what should have been a simple eyewear purchase.

To start, I bought three pairs of glasses, expecting quality and accuracy in my prescriptions. Unfortunately, the reality was far from it. My wife’s prescription was a complete mess, rendering the glasses virtually useless. As for my driving glasses, they were no improvement whatsoever – no clearer or stronger than the ones they were supposed to replace.

To add insult to injury, the letters GDX were inexplicably etched onto the right lens, an unnecessary eyesore that triggered my OCD. As if that weren’t enough, the right arm of the glasses wasn’t even straight. Quality control seemed to be a foreign concept at Rivoli.

But wait, there’s more. The nose clip decided to call it quits, and when I sought assistance, I was met with the audacious claim that these issues weren’t covered under warranty. I was told I had to cough up nearly the same amount I paid for the original purchase to fix their mistakes because, apparently, it was my fault.

Enraged, I threatened legal action, and what did Rivoli do? They held onto my glasses for an additional three weeks, only to come back with an offer that can only be described as a slap in the face – a meager 50 dirham discount on a 700 AED repair for the nose clip.

This is not just shoddy service; it’s a blatant disregard for customer rights and basic decency. I’m now taking this matter to every official department in Dubai to expose the negligence and mistreatment I endured at Rivoli. A word of caution to potential customers: steer clear unless you’re a fan of frustration and disappointment.

Make sure they are delivering on time and the exact product as what they offered in their online site. I orderd one watch with 60% off. I got it after 8 days in some other design by the time their offer has removed from the store / stores. Otherwise atleat i can bought the watch with some dicount from their store. Now they are blaming the brand owners. Never ever order through their site. For eg. You can find a big Mango in their site but if you order you will receive after 10 days same size one guava. When you complaint they might tell sorry sir, we will update the mango tree soon. Defenitly you will get your refund. Here Who will be responsible for your time, money and the happiness?

Bad service

I bought a watch online because I couldn’t get to the store. The particular watch I purchased stated 3 to 5 business days of delivery while some others had 7 days. There were no updates and still no updates. The birthday has passed and the item hasn’t come. Customer support did nothing but repeat the same response of I apologise it will be dispatched a day after the expected arriving date. It is very unprofessional and bad service. They don’t care for customers needs. This js a local store so not sure why it would take so long to send the item.
