Left me stranded at the airport with 2 10-month old babies

Booked the car from Renty.ae via their whatsapp service, the salesperson was nice and confirmed the booking was completed, a few weeks prior to my visit. I was informed the driver will contact me for the car delivery at the airport (terminal 2) 30 minutes prior to the booking time we agreed on.

Once landing in Dubai, i reached out on whatsapp, no response, then i called and was able to inquire about my booking. The lady told me that she will check and call me back within 2 or 3 minutes. I called back 15 minutes later as i did not hear back, and was systematically being hung up on (at least 12 times).

Renty.ae cancelled my booking 2 hours after the delivery time, not giving any alternatives, even after i told them i was travelling with my 2 10-month old twins, and it was getting late.

I will NEVER use this company again, and would strongly recomend going with anyone else!

They took bad quality photos and videos the day they gave us the car when we returned the car they made us pay a damadge we didn’t know even existed the the quality of the pictures they showed was so bad they couldn’t prove anything either. We still paid. The staff can not speak english and was late when he came to pick up the car.

Including engine problems that forced me to go to their garage and wait to get another vehicle. Also, delivery delays every single time, including one that was 2 hours late.

Ayman Mohamed helped us great. When i had an injury with my back he would love to sen me a driver. The car was great and the service of Ayman was great! I couldnt wish better. Just the driver came one hour too late for delivery and Ayman was nor working this day. So that was not good cause you need to deliver the car always on time so also the delivery for the company must be on time! Or at least call the client and tell you are too late

A dishonest company

As just married we visited Dubai for part of our honeymoon. My husband is a big petrol head so I worked extra shifts to save up to hire him a Lamborghini. We hired this through renty.ae. We paid a deposit on credit card of over £800. We were told we would be refunded within 30 days. We weren’t I raised credit card dispute with my bank. The renty.ae then has lied saying we went over the agreed KM, we didn’t and have evidence. I completely agree with the other review this company are crooks, they are dishonest and take advantage out of paying customers. The car wasn’t even running right it was misfiring they weren’t bothered and wanted us to pay extra to rent another vehicle. All i want is the deposit refunded, I will continue to raise this on social media and other platforms so that customers are not treated this way.

If your British stay away

If your British don’t even bother, they have separate “deals” for you. Not the good kind. Ads say no deposit, unless your British then you have to pay a deposit because we have the most fines lol. I live here but they discriminate.

We went to the half desert road for drone shots. Like seen in several advertisements (on Instagram) from all different luxury car rental plattforms.

In the contract from renty (or some kind of sub company) it says there is a fine for that. I had to pay 15.000 AED (actually it would have been 30.000 AED, but they gave me a discount..)

After reading lots of 1 star reviews, I am also afraid of not getting back the deposit, since I never received a copy of any contract. They only had a contract for themselfs.

I was planning on booking the same lamborghini another time – but I just realized that renting cars in Dubai might just be a dumb thing to do.

So, better plan 17.5k AED instead of 2.5k AED if you wanna take a ride

Still waiting for my deposit refund since December 2021. Nearly daily contact and always the same promises that it will be refund within the next few days. Then accounting problems and so on…
So be careful! Fraud! You won‘t get your refund back!
