QUICK DRIVE IS A NIGHTMARE

Rented an Exeed LX for a month and it’s been a nightmare. Car breaks down non-stop, warning lights always on, today it literally died in the middle of the road — I almost crashed in Dubai traffic.

They promised a brand new 2025 car but it’s clearly an old, damaged car patched up for rental. Bluetooth and CarPlay keep cutting off every drive.

Customer service? Useless. They reply once a day with one sentence, sometimes ignore calls for 2 days. Phone: +971 50 525 9245. Asked for a refund — they said “no, you signed a contract.”

Now I’m stuck with this dangerous car until the end of the month. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs.

Deposit is never refunded. This company is an absolute disaster!

I am absolutely disappointed with my experience with Ecorental! In an emergency, even though I had taken out premium insurance, I received absolutely no assistance. Instead, I was constantly passed on to hundreds of different phone numbers, never knowing who to actually contact.

What’s particularly frustrating is that their website advertises an office at the airport—yet there is none. When problems arise, I am endlessly shuffled between Ecorental and Quickdrive, without ever being informed in advance that another rental company would be providing the vehicle.

The absolute low point: the deposit is never refunded. Despite repeated assurances in emails that the responsible parties would be contacted, I never receive any response.

I urge everyone who has experienced this to report it to Dubai Customer Protection. This company is an absolute disaster!

I paid for the car rental and deposit with a Visa card. Quickdrive are only able to refund my deposit by bank transfer to a UK bank. This is a total pain in terms of delay, international bank charges and FX charges. Do not use this company if you are an foreign national

The best rental company in Dubai!

We visited Dubai a few weeks ago. This was the best hire company we have ever used. The car was faultless but the staff were even better! We left a bag at the hotel upon checkout and this company sent a driver to our hotel to retrieve tge bag and bring it to us at the airport. This is just such a remarkable company and lovely staff – better than family. I have tried to leave reviews on multiple platforms because I want everyone to know HOW fantastic Quick drive are. AVOID AT ALL COSTS – THEY DO NOT RETURN YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT

Rented car for 2 weeks on 1st July. They took 1500 dirhams security deposit which they tell you will be returned when you hand the car back. Then when I handed the car back I was told they would keep the deposit for 25 days incase of toll charges. 25 days later I got in touch. They said I’d be paid in 3-5 days. 1 week later I’ve still not had any payment. When I contact customer services on Whatsapp they either ignore me or say the payment will be made shortly. I have now had to make a section 75 claim through my credit card company. These guys are con artists and scammers, avoid at all costs.
