    Overcharged

    My car is running well now, but the experience wasn’t entirely positive. Initially, communication was clear, and charges were approved in advance. However, I was surprised by an unexpected AED1,200 additional charge for the ECM REPAIR (#39131-2B120) on the final invoice, which I was never informed about. This charge felt overpriced and lacked transparency. – I consulted with a few ECM programmers, and they confirmed my suspicions. I was told I was overcharged for unnecessary work that could have been avoided if they had fixed the ECM first. Moreover, I was charged for Spare Key of AED 100 and AED 600 for key programming (which I found out 4-5 times more expensive obviously I was cheated) however, I did not bother myself to get it coz I was told that the key is useless (see screenshot attached) – I will let the consumer rights authority to deal with this garage.
