Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Charges by OSN

unauthorized charges being deducted by OSN. Although I cancelled my subscription with them in December 2024, they continue to deduct 48 AED from my account until now.

They charged my card AED 650 without my authorization.

I contacted them within less than 2 hours of the unauthorized renewal, yet they still refused to cancel or refund the charge, citing an arbitrary 48-hour policy which I was never made aware. Even if they want to auto-renew it should be same contract which was AED 499.99 not arbitrary change the contract to AED649.99

Attached are SMS confirmation of charges (initial subscription and unauthorized subscription) and SMS confirmation that I had to cancel my credit card.

IN MY OPINION THEY ARE NOTHING BUT BUNCH OF THIFS.

Subscribe cancellation Awful experiences

From start to trying to cancel my subscription is awful. When they take money was very easy of course. The channel is awful always freeze. There is no call centre to talk. There is no live chat. They never and ever replied my messages and e mails. They charged 2 days before subscription amount. I am trying to cancel my subscription and there is no button to cancel. Awful. I call my bank and block the card and order new card. I told all my friends never go even near this channel . Awful, awful..

Good Afternoon
I am a registered subscriber customer in OSN
I have a problem due to the programming system of the ads within the series on channel OSN series premiere. When booking to record any series on this channel even by setting beginning of recording 0 minutes and end of recording 15 minuets several times together with customer service of OSN but every time when watching the recorded episode I find out that it was incomplete it is never recorded till the end.The recorded episode is 45 minutes and the setting of recorded is longed by 15 minutes more even thus but a part is omitted and I never watch the episode to the end . This is due to the mass boring repeated ads of OSN programs which consumes the time which should be provided to the main issue here which is recording the booked episodes or else it’s useless to have the privilege of booking recording anything when I am not available at home to watch it in the precise time .
Please kindly arrange this issue by diminishing the time of ads within the episodes or prolonging the time of recording taking into consideration the time you define for the ads or rather let ads be before or after the episodes to enable we the customers properly record what we like to watch in our convenient time .

Subscription

Signing up for their subscription was the worst experience. I tired to cancel it for month as I never used it. Their selection was poor and I was unhappy with the platform. They charged me for months unnecessarily. After emailing over and back over a 3 month period, they eventually cancelled my subscription which they could have done from the first time. I will never use them again.

Occasionally, we loose the signal and most channels showed a message TECHNICAL PROBLEM. Upon calling the service center, they claimed its not there problem, its the building issue.
I ended bringing a technician on my account to fix the problem.
I think OSN should take more care about customer’s complains .

The worst service

They have been charging me double for years while they keep removing channels and when I want to cancel the subscription – they keep trying to sell more upgrades. Absolutely dishonest and unprofessional people who only steal money knowingly when the same package is being given at half the price. They take advantage of people.
