Description

At New Shanghai, we offer guests a taste of modern Shanghai-style cuisine, in an ambient setting inspired by the bustling, colourful streets of the city we’re named after. At the heart of New Shanghai are ancient family recipes learned in Shanghai and passed down from generation to generation.

These ancient recipes are the base of our vibrant array of Shanghai-style soup dumplings, noodles, bubbling hot pots, and pan-fried buns, which can be enjoyed while taking in our live dumpling-making theatre. We hope you enjoy the New Shanghai dining experience!

Great Food, Better Service

We have eaten at New Shanghai at Dubai Mall several times and this is my first review of it. New Shanghai is consistently good food! On each of our visits, the food was served quickly, hot, and fresh. It had great flavors. Our waiter, Subhrash, was great. He was attentive but not overbearing. He always had a smile and answered any questions easily. A great meal at a fair price.
