Sales Place and behavior
It looks like my review is the only real here. All the 5-star ratings are paid, and it’s easy to see it as all of them are saying the same sentence over and over again by just changing the words a bit. No client on planet earth would make a statement like the 5-star ratings here, so let me share my experience with this company and its owner.
Besides the fact that the area where the company is located makes you feel that you need a gun for self-defense, the complete “real-life experience” is totally different from the website. On the website, it looks amazing, but if you go there to see the shop, you will be shocked. However, the most incredible fact is the owner itself.
He behaves like you have to be happy that you can buy the product from him, not that he is pleased to get a new customer. He is selling the same item on Amazon and is paying their 12% commission to Amazon for an already discounted product, but he is not willing to give you a single discount if you buy directly in his shop.
Some statements from him are like: if you buy on Amazon, you will pay 450 AED for the installation, while on the Amazon site, it states clearly that delivery and installation are free.
Or, only in his shop, you will get the discounted price, while on Amazon, the same price is shown as he is offering you.
Things like this made me negotiate with him for over a week, as once you have an agreement with him, he will later on text you and change everything both of you have agreed on, and you start from square one. In all my career as an entrepreneur, this guy is the most horrible business guy I ever met in terms of ecommerce, e-shopping, for all miracle fitness sports equipment.
Furthermore, Miracle Fitness Sports Equipment delivers a product with a Chinese description only, and they did not even attempt to translate it for you into English. The team that is installing the machine speaks around 10% English and no Arabic language (in Dubai is both crazy not to speak!), and if you don’t stand beside them for all the 5 hours of installation, you can be sure, that they will do half of the job and for sure not as you wanted it. How should they when they don’t understand a single word you speak?
Let’s give you another example: It was agreed that the team would come with the Monster Functional Trainer DY-9000 at 4 pm, but they arrived at 6.25 pm. After calling him and asking, he is kind of angry that you are asking him, and do you think he apologizes for this delay? Nope, he doesn’t.
The owner said the installation process would take a max of 3 hours. Well, it was 5 hours which makes you think, is there a problem with the installation or why you are 2 hours over time??
His team that does not speak English or Arabic does not know, for the most part, what they do and how they need to be installed. Guess his reaction? He will send some videos tomorrow so you can do it yourself — great idea, but still no videos on my phone.
Summarize: would I ever buy from Miracle Fitness Sports Equipment in Warehouse 23 Street #318 , Near old national taxi signal, Al Quoz Ind 2 – Dubai? Not when you would point a gun at my head. If they have something you really want, buy it on Amazon, and you can then complain to them as Amazon will undoubtedly react. Complaining about anything with the owner of Miracle Fitness Sports Equipment would be the same as you would trying to complain to someone in China.
