Let me share my story from the purchase of the day.

After a week of purchasing my brand new above mentioned car;
I experienced that the AC was not working(it was a hard summer). I tried calling the call centre and no one responded for more than 30mints.
Next day I took my car to your service centre and explained the issue. Suddenly the receptionist was asking for the appointment. I did not know that I needed to take the appointment for the emergency issue.
They were not ready to accept my request and I asked them to call their manager. Finally I met him and he understood the situation and accepted my car. After inspecting the car, they said I need to replace the compressor and I have to drop the car for 2days.
I dropped and no one was updating about my car. After 2days, they released my car and the AC was working fine. Again after a week of the same issue and same story. I shouted at them and the manager gave my car to a senior tech. He found the small issue within 30 min and fixed.( rubber washer at the ac pipe joint was not proper)
After that the issue with steering wheel noise. I was informing the advisor every service (almost a year)and they ignored.finally they told me to drop the vehicle for 2days to fix it. At the same time there were another couple of complaints.

*Left side mirror over folding
*tyre pressure sensor fault
*4D AVM error
They promised me to keep the car for 2days and unfortunately they kept it for 5days. But the sad thing is they fixer steering and park assistance and informed me that everything is fixed.
And they don’t do the wheel alignment after they replace the steering. I observed for a week and my wheel and the car are pulling to one side. I did the wheel alignment outside and the person was asking whether the wheel alignment is mandatory after replacing the steering box. I called the customer care and explained all the story and he told me that he will arrange a call back. Unfortunately I have not received a call from anyone.
Now I will explain the new updates.
On 09/06/2024 around 4pm I had the same issue with the AC and took the car to your service centre. Same question from the receptionist regarding the appointment.
Finally I drop the car there as I can bring the car back on Monday because of my duty.
Now 2days still the car is in the service centre and not fixed yet.

Note: every time I keep my car without replacing a courtesy car and I’m sending money to rent a car..
This is the 5th time I’m spending to rent a car.

I think they have the proper training by the management on what they are behaving with the customer. This is the reason they are behaving in this way.

They are refusing to refund my deposit

I canceled my wish to buy MG after one day from my booking due to ignorance of their sales staff after i paid the deposit, with so many not answered calls and rudeness of customer attendance in addition to the bad reviews from customers not able to fix their under warranty cars, I raised a complaint with call center in the second day i paid the deposit and the branch manager promised he will refund my deposit and said it will takes 3 weeks , and now more than 40 days nothing happened , it is a very bad experience form a company that disappointed me to the max and significantly proven they are far below anyone expectations

My mg rx5 service

Be careful if some one want to buy this brand i purchase my car in 2021 from showroom it was good but after i make my 1st service my car change to worst car its started wind cutting noise and for last 3year they cannot fix it and my car drive only 35000 ,i done my 40k service 20 days before and i have a issue for paint peeling for top and leather issue on door sides,they say they will update me after this much days no update regarding this ,after i took my car the rubber beeding of front glass was out so i call them and inform this then they became rude on me i send the service adviser videos as he requested but after that no update no phone call picking . Pls every one think twice before purchase this brand

Disappointing Experience with MG Motor: Inconsistent Quality and Features

I recently purchased an MG ZST 2024 model in the UAE after owning the 2022 version for two years. Unfortunately, my experience with MG Motor has been disappointing on multiple fronts.

Firstly, I encountered recurring issues with the Tyre Pressure Management System (TPMS) in both the 2022 and 2024 models. Despite multiple visits to the service center, the problem persisted, indicating a lack of effective resolution.

Also, the 2024 model had some features that weren’t as good as the ones in the older model 2022. The change from a Shark fin Antenna in the 2022 Model to a long serial antenna in the 2024 Model has been troublesome, as it needs to be removed at ADNOC car wash stations every time for a wash. Additionally, I noticed a slight decrease in network quality compared to the previous Shark Fin Antenna. Also, the reduction in space in the backside dicky (boot space), coupled with the absence of foot mate locks for the front passenger in the 2024 model, were unexpected downgrades.

As a loyal customer, I anticipated improvements and enhancements in the 2024 model. However, the reality fell short of my expectations, leading to disappointment and dissatisfaction with MG Motor’s product quality and consistency.

Cars are good but staff is Not

This Email is written to register a serious misbehaviour complaint against the Staff Noura of MG showroom, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.

I would like to highlight the incidents with their timeline.

I have purchased an MG GT on 9th March 2022 and I was pretty happy with with the car so I thought of upgrading my car to an MGZST trophy edition.

Since my Last purchase was with Ms. noura i chose to be comfortable and just go ahead with the purchase.

Until I paid the booking amount there was a follow up from her end regarding the payment.

Then once my loan got approved I asked for a VCC through phone calls and then reminders on messages. It took 4-5 days after multiple requests to get a VCC.

After the VCC was done I visited the showroom to make the final payments. I was informed to sign an RTA form which has to be provided by the showrrom but it was me who time and again kept asking. I ended making of the formal complaint through my last email to escalate my process.

Then comes the day of delivery.
I reach the showroom on 27th March 2024 at 12 noon as mentioned by Noura for me to come. I reach the showroom and ask for her at the reception and after waiting for 20 minutes she did not show up. I thought of finding her and saw her in a cabin. 20 minutes later i called her that I am here to get my car and she responds that you will be given the car by a delivery agent. She comes out and I tell her this is how you treat your customer that you cant even come to say hello or assist. Her manager was standing along. And she said something in Arabic and was very rude and loud to me and I felt like cancelling my deal. I was made to assist by some other guy Mr Habil who informed me the invoice is not ready and they will send by email. How do you sell a car and dont have an invoice. Anyways 2 days later is till dont have the invoice.

The car was brought and I was not even asked by Noura or the manager though they were standing there. No apologies or congratulations. I have been an automobile auditor and my 14th car. Never was mistreated like a peasant ever in my life. I would like to have a formal complaint registered against this manager and Noura to be rude to the customer and it should be seen seriously by the management.

Here is the attached chat with Noura and how many times my requests were unanswered.

I would like to bring this experience on Google reviews and X for this matter to be seen seriously.

MG one 6 month old went blank completely

I bought new mg one car. we got our first service after 10k Km, service cost was very expensive and after 3 month there was compressor issue it took 10 days for them to arrange the replacement. Now it’s just 6 month and my car completely went off all screen was off and nothing was working. I had to leave the car road side because service center was closed next day when I came battery was completely drained. I could start the car with alternate battery and took it to service center. Instead of admitting their fault they made me pay for battery just because it was more than 20k km. I did not wanted to waste my time I agreed to pay for battery they also made me pay labor fee and updating fee.
They charged me Aed 1300 in total.
They did not even explain what went wrong with the car.

Please do not buy mg it can go off any time and no one know what is the issue and customer has to go through everything and they ask you payment again for any work they do.
Please take everything in writing now they gave me writing 1year battery warranty.

Bought brand new MG ZS EV, the car is great but sadly decided to sell now and this is for one resin only……. I can’t handle the terrible service centre.

This should tell you all you need to know that I am prepared to sell a very good car as I no longer want to deal with the service centre.

I really don’t have the time to detail every single issue but basically, they fail to fix faults properly (even though they claim to have fixed it) which means we have to keep travelling back and to the service centre at great expense and inconvenience.

Additionally, they never call back when they promise to. Most recently I tried to lodge a formal complaint with customer service, they promised the service supervisor would call within 24 hours. I told them I don’t think they will as they never have called back before, the customer service representative said they would follow up with me a few days later; it’s been over 2 weeks now and no one has bothered calling.

Please don’t waste your time with this shambolic service centre. As I said, it’s that bad in selling the car and will never buy another MG just so I don’t have to deal with them anymore!

The car is average. Looks nice, affordable, very poor paint and gets scratched as soon as you touch it. Since the beginning the MG service centre has been a disaster. They are disorganised, poorly trained, and agents are rude. The services are really expensive and they do not inform you of the price on drop off. Multiple e-mails and calls at every stage to no satisfaction. The service centre itself is around a very busy area which is always blocked with traffic and once you get there, there is no information provided on what to do, which desk to go to etc. The reply I was given today by the agent was “You should ask yourself”.

Regret buying this car for the horrible services provided. Choose another car brand.

Service charges are costly

Disappointed with the service charges after free services. Its huge service charges charged by MG for service then other well known brands. MG is giving warranty till 200000 kms but to avail that you have to maintain your car with MG only but the serVice chares are huge then NISSAN OR TOYOTA. Nissan have good service package for 50k kms maintain the car in good price. but in MG i have paid approx 3000 aed in 02 service. Also you have to wait for a month to book a service. Without prior booking they don’t do service for your vehicle and appointments also take 15 to 20 days

MG GT – Paint Quality / Economy / model defect

I owned the MG GT since Mar 2022, I have noticed the below issues with my MG GT.
1. Paint quality is poor as besides parked car person open the door of their car and if it touches to MG car then the paint goes away immediately. I can understand if there is a force then dent and color issue both should be there but just a normal touch the paint goes away from the body immediately so i am trying maximum to avoid park th car where other has parked besides me. 2. There is a body defect as well like while siting back seat you can hear a wind noise right side of the car windows the same has been communicated to MG service and they accepted that there a fault and they order the part for replacement.

3. outside noise also comes loudly into the car after 3-4 months from purchase so the door rubber quality is also poor.

4. Front grill quality is very poor as its broke when someone touched it normally while parking his car in front of my car. I was in the car that time and i didn’t feel the jerk as well.

5. fuel economy is not constant.

Since my Last purchase was with Ms. noura i chose to be comfortable and just go ahead with the purchase.

Until I paid the booking amount there was a follow up from her end regarding the payment.

Then once my loan got approved I asked for a VCC through phone calls and then reminders on messages. It took 4-5 days after multiple requests to get a VCC.

After the VCC was done I visited the showroom to make the final payments. I was informed to sign an RTA form which has to be provided by the showrrom but it was me who time and again kept asking. I ended making of the formal complaint through my last email to escalate my process.

Then comes the day of delivery.
I reach the showroom on 27th March 2024 at 12 noon as mentioned by Noura for me to come. I reach the showroom and ask for her at the reception and after waiting for 20 minutes she did not show up. I thought of finding her and saw her in a cabin. 20 minutes later i called her that I am here to get my car and she responds that you will be given the car by a delivery agent. She comes out and I tell her this is how you treat your customer that you cant even come to say hello or assist. Her manager was standing along. And she said something in Arabic and was very rude and loud to me and I felt like cancelling my deal. I was made to assist by some other guy Mr Habil who informed me the invoice is not ready and they will send by email. How do you sell a car and dont have an invoice. Anyways 2 days later is till dont have the invoice.

The car was brought and I was not even asked by Noura or the manager though they were standing there. No apologies or congratulations. I have been an automobile auditor and my 14th car. Never was mistreated like a peasant ever in my life. I would like to have a formal complaint registered against this manager and Noura to be rude to the customer and it should be seen seriously by the management.

MG one 6 month old went blank completely

I bought new mg one car. we got our first service after 10k Km, service cost was very expensive and after 3 month there was compressor issue it took 10 days for them to arrange the replacement. Now it’s just 6 month and my car completely went off all screen was off and nothing was working. I had to leave the car road side because service center was closed next day when I came battery was completely drained. I could start the car with alternate battery and took it to service center. Instead of admitting their fault they made me pay for battery just because it was more than 20k km. I did not wanted to waste my time I agreed to pay for battery they also made me pay labor fee and updating fee.
They charged me Aed 1300 in total.
They did not even explain what went wrong with the car.

Please do not buy mg it can go off any time and no one know what is the issue and customer has to go through everything and they ask you payment again for any work they do.
Please take everything in writing now they gave me writing 1year battery warranty.

Customer Service and Technical Incompetence

Bought brand new MG ZS EV, the car is great but sadly decided to sell now and this is for one resin only……. I can’t handle the terrible service centre.

This should tell you all you need to know that I am prepared to sell a very good car as I no longer want to deal with the service centre.

I really don’t have the time to detail every single issue but basically, they fail to fix faults properly (even though they claim to have fixed it) which means we have to keep travelling back and to the service centre at great expense and inconvenience.

Additionally, they never call back when they promise to. Most recently I tried to lodge a formal complaint with customer service, they promised the service supervisor would call within 24 hours. I told them I don’t think they will as they never have called back before, the customer service representative said they would follow up with me a few days later; it’s been over 2 weeks now and no one has bothered calling.

Please don’t waste your time with this shambolic service centre. As I said, it’s that bad in selling the car and will never buy another MG just so I don’t have to deal with them anymore!

The car is average. Looks nice, affordable, very poor paint and gets scratched as soon as you touch it. Since the beginning the MG service centre has been a disaster. They are disorganised, poorly trained, and agents are rude. The services are really expensive and they do not inform you of the price on drop off. Multiple e-mails and calls at every stage to no satisfaction. The service centre itself is around a very busy area which is always blocked with traffic and once you get there, there is no information provided on what to do, which desk to go to etc. The reply I was given today by the agent was “You should ask yourself”.

Regret buying this car for the horrible services provided. Choose another car brand.

Service charges are costly

Disappointed with the service charges after free services. Its huge service charges charged by MG for service then other well known brands. MG is giving warranty till 200000 kms but to avail that you have to maintain your car with MG only but the serVice chares are huge then NISSAN OR TOYOTA. Nissan have good service package for 50k kms maintain the car in good price. but in MG i have paid approx 3000 aed in 02 service. Also you have to wait for a month to book a service. Without prior booking they don’t do service for your vehicle and appointments also take 15 to 20 days

MG GT – Paint Quality / Economy / model defect

I owned the MG GT since Mar 2022, I have noticed the below issues with my MG GT.
1. Paint quality is poor as besides parked car person open the door of their car and if it touches to MG car then the paint goes away immediately. I can understand if there is a force then dent and color issue both should be there but just a normal touch the paint goes away from the body immediately so i am trying maximum to avoid park th car where other has parked besides me. 2. There is a body defect as well like while siting back seat you can hear a wind noise right side of the car windows the same has been communicated to MG service and they accepted that there a fault and they order the part for replacement.

3. outside noise also comes loudly into the car after 3-4 months from purchase so the door rubber quality is also poor.

4. Front grill quality is very poor as its broke when someone touched it normally while parking his car in front of my car. I was in the car that time and i didn’t feel the jerk as well.

5. fuel economy is not constant.
