Good design, poor after-sales experience

I usually like Marina Home’s designs, so this was disappointing. I purchased the Aislinn King duvet cover from Dubai Mall about 2 years ago, but only started using it around 6 months ago. It was always washed at 30°C as instructed and never exposed to bleach, yet it developed patchy discoloration.

The customer service email on the website bounced, so I had to visit the store just to get the correct contact. I showed the product in person but was asked to email, and the case was then rejected without any physical inspection because it’s “out of warranty”.

For a premium bedding item, I expected better durability and a smoother after-sales experience.

One of the worst customer service i have seen. I bought a couch last week and they were supposed to deliver today. Waited the whole day, nothing yet and nobody is answering the phone. Im starting to regret i chose this shop. Do not recommend.

Mr sajid at MOE branch went above and beyond for me.

I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart to the staff at Marina home especially Mr sajid. in 2016 my mum purchased a pair of angel wings for me when I was going through a tough time in my life one of them unfortunately was knocked off the wall which caused some damage to it. I wrote to mr sajid and he replied immediately to me and they managed to fix it for me.
I can’t thank Marina home and the staff enough especially to sajid they went above and beyond expectations and I will be thankful forever such fantastic customer service and a beautiful store.

Delivering defective TV cabinet twice and never giving refund

Extremely poor customer service and no accountability for defective furniture. We had a very disappointing experience though we were a regular customer for marina home. In Nov 2023, we went to warehouses sales for the first time and bought few items out of which was TV cabinet. It was delivered twice with defects that they had to take it back on spot. Instead of them contacting us (customer), we were contacting them and following up with them constantly to refund our money. We spoke to Martin (customer service manager) several times and can clearly understand he had no intention to take care of customer or provide required service. We asked Martin multiple times to share contact details of his manager, but he never did. He was just telling us that refund is not possible and defective TV cabinet can be sent after repair. We said why should we pay AED 3000 for a product with defect? He just never cared and told us he would speak to management which we think he never did that as he never shared contact details of his supervisor or never asked them to contact us. After nearly 2 months follow ups with Martin as well as call center and visiting Marina home stores physically 3 times and speaking to store supervisor, no one actually bothered to satisfy customer. They never gave us our money back. In the end, after we communicated many times that we do not accept defective item being fixed, they gave us credit to use in their store which obviously we never wanted to buy anything from Marina home considering such a poor customer service and huge frustration. We wanted refund and they never provided refund of our money.
It is strange that they sell very expensive items with such a poor service. basically, they only try to sell but no after sale service despite being very expensive.

Very Poor customer service

Very poor customer service and disappointing experience. We’ve been a regular customer for marina home, Recently we went to warehouses sales and bought few items out of which was TV cabinet. It was delivered twice with defects that they had to take it back on spot. Instead of them contacting customer, we are the one who keeps following up with them and after so much frustration on quality issues and poor service , we asked them for refund. They just said refund is not possible. No other communication from their side so far. I’ve been sending messages tp head of customer service without getting any response, we went to their shop physicallyand escalated but still no outcome as they said they’re not involved in customer service.
Wondering why they sell so expensive with that poor service, they only try to sell but no after sale service despite being very expensive.

No Accountability for defective couch

I am truly disappointed in Marina Home’s customer service/support (Martin). He is the head of customer service and offers no support just excuses. I purchased a couch and two chairs from Marina Home in March of 2022. It was delivered at the end of March 2022. The couch was a beautiful two seater with a chaise lounge as the third seat.

The chaise lounge seat started sinking in the back it was like sitting in a whole. At this point it was only May 13th 2022. I am a slender woman this should not be happening. We called Marina and they said the main belt in the chaise lounge needs to be tighten. Okay, maybe it was not put together properly.

Now it’s September 14th and we go the the Dubai mall Marina Home to complain and again they told us to call Martin at customer service. Martin gives us the runaround about how couches need on going maintenance, twice in six months????

Martin blows us off until my husband demands action be taken. Martin’s team came and picked up the chaise lounge section in December 2022 (it’s now February 2023 still waiting for chaise lounge to be returned). Martin tells us again, the belt needs to be tightened but now it’s the whole couch not just the chaise lounge. At this point my back is starting to give me problems when I sit on the couch. Truly the couch has a design flaw and Marina is just waiting for my one year warranty to run out and then I am out of luck.

At this point we asked Marina Home (spoke to Martin) we are not happy with a defective couch and we would be happy to get credit on the couch and purchase another at an even higher price to assure this issue doesn’t happen again. Martin said no I can’t and won’t do that for you. So, Martin is telling me I have to take the defective couch and live with it. He said he will tighten the belt until the warranty is up. Then we have to continue to pay Marina Home to fix a flawed couch that we paid over 15k for.

Is this right to you it isn’t to me? Marina has questionable values and morals. We want to sell you junk and now you have to live with it once you find out. Not right @Marina__Home

Coffee table

I am a client in Marina home . I bought two coffee tables that I paid a lot and the quality was bad , after 3 months both of them they had marks on them . Customer service terrible after 4 months of trying they replaced the one , and again now has marks again. I paid 4000 Dhs and the quality was not good, but the worst part is the customer service when you have an issue. I now only buy decoration staff from there.

Sold our Chairs

We purchased a dinging table and 8 chairs from Marina Home Al Barsha on Jan 28 2022 with delivery to be made at a later date. A day before delivery, they called us and said 3 chairs were going through QC and therefore they would schedule delivery the following day. Next day same excuse. Following day we called them and found out they had sold our 8 chairs and had no idea how it had happened. Apparently a “system glitch”. Solutions: 1. We refund you your money 2. You come in and find alternate chairs or 3. We give you 8 of the same chairs from our showrooms.
Issues: 1. This was bought during DSF and therefore at a discounted prices. DSF is now over and we will not find similar chairs at those prices.
2. We don’t like any of the other chairs in the showrooms.
3. Same chairs in their showrooms would be considered “used”.

Warehouse has no idea what is going on. Customer Service has no idea what is going on. Really pathetic to see that a company of this caliber is in such a state of disarray.
Needless to say, we have had a very bad experience with Marina Home and will never buy any items from them again.

Customer service

The customer service isn’t good ! I bought something on line and then I wanted to change the size and I could not! The customer service when I contacted them couldn’t do anything about that and they didn’t even try to help . I calle the same day they deliver and the item was still in the box! Very disappointed with them especially cause most of my furniture bought from them! But I should know better cause even a flow table took me three months with emails in order to exchange!
