Horrible customer service

I went to Life Pharmacy at 18:10 to buy medicine at Sharjah at Taawun and the lady asked me for my insurance documents and the prescription from the doctor which I provided and she promised me to deliver the medicine just after Iftar Time. I went home and waiting for more than 2 hours nothing came. When I called them back she said the medicine out of stock so I must wait till tomorrow, Wuxi I clearly informed her from beginning that I need this medicines tonight. She referred me to he colleague same life pharmacy where I worked 25 minutes, and she said just go there and pick your medicine all approved and process are done.
I reached to the pharmacy and found Mohammed Rashik fighting with one lady ( customer) was very rude with her the lady was very polite she told him to be lire fast as her car just temporarily parked outside, he then rudely asked her to leave the pharmacy as he he’s not a machine. Anyway I’m not surprised after what happend to me with this people. The best is he refused to serve my medication he informed me that he need the original prescription where his colleagues next pharmacy just asked me to send the prescription by WhatsApp. When I told that his colleagues only referred me to him as they don’t have the medication in the stock his answer was that he don’t care and was very rude, I’m worried how this behavior in the health care industry-,,???
I just went next door the pharmacy gave me everything I want within 15 minutes, Ofcourse not Life pharmacy and I will never enter again

Useless Vouchers

I have been shopping frequently at Life Pharmacy since it is close to my house. I recieved several vouchers which should be some sort of a loyalty program. Instead, it has been a source of frustration and disappointment. The vouchers expire quickly (why!?). Then when you want to use it, it seems nothing in the Pharmacy is eligible and everything is exempt

Surprisingly uou can cancel one item on your online order. You need to cancel all order,inform pharmacy located in your neighborhood and then you can place new order. What a mess. Online CS had a terrible attitude issues with no apologies on the package (issue was amount of product in packaging). Life Pharmacy is training their employees to be dishonest and take your money. I went to the pharmacy at Al Fardan Center in Sharjah to buy toothpaste because there was a 50% promotion displayed. However, when I paid, I was charged the full price. When I questioned them, they said the promotion was ‘buy one, get the second at 50% off,’ which wasn’t stated on the display. And even if that’s the offer, why didn’t the staff inform me before I paid? I could have used Esaad if I didn’t want to avail the promotion. Dishonest behavior!

Braun ear thermometer warranty

I’ve bought a Braun ear thermometer for my new born before he was born around beginning of May. It fell down after 4 months of purchase and it stopped working immediately. I tried to ask Life pharmacy to fix or do something about it they said that they can’t get the bill from their system it’s already expired from LIFE PHARMACY data and the supplier is refusing to replace it or fix for free he wants me to pay 260 aed to fix which is almost the same price I paid for a new one. Until now my two kids are without a thermometer and Life requested me to pick it up from Dubai Mall branch. I am their customer for 4 years. The staff already know me.. I need my thermometer back working as I purchased it for my kids and now they are sick they made my exprience bad and untrustworthy of the brand and the pharmacy after all these years I am purchasing from them.

Charging for logo printed paper bags

Why is Life Pharmacy charging the customers for paper bags printed with their logos?. Are the customers paying to do free marketing for Life Pharmacy?
All over UAE plastic bags are being paid, that too plain ones, without any logos.
Ok, agreed to pay for paper bags, but it should be a plain one, without any logos.

I have been charged 37 fils for a small paper bag. If they have 100 customers its 37dhs. Where as the cost of this paper bag will only be 15 to 20 dhs for 1000pcs

I return it with intact seal in less than 24 hours because mom’s condition is too fragile to cope with the side effects. The store staff is reluctant to take it back even though it is medication and not a consumer product that can be put to use. On insisting for a refund, she says it will take 15 – 30 days for a refund back to the debit card. And that she can issue a voucher immediately for the amount. I decline the voucher because it has an expiry date and credit must be consumed within six months. She says the expiry date is mentioned but a new voucher will be issued if it expires and credit is still not consumed. I ask her how many times can the voucher be renewed. She say it can be renewied any number of times and that I should visit her in Al Wasl branch if I face an issue with renewal.

The voucher has expired and I visit Al Wasl branch to get it renewed. Store staff said it cannot be renewed. I recount the discussion and assurance provided by the person who issued the voucher. Staff said they don’t know who it was and they cannot trace the person. And that I can email [email protected] and see if they can help me out.

The experience and subsequent interaction with Assistant Store Manager Anil Rajan and Store Executive Nelson Sales on Oct 21 highlights the inconsistency, operational gaps, lack of emotional intelligence, poor customer communication skills, questionable integrity of the organization as a whole.

1. They made it seem as if I’ve done something wrong by letting the voucher expire and they will ‘try’ to help me.
2. Life Pharmacy obviously has no qualms about pocketing hundreds of dirhams that do not belong to them. But renew the voucher, honor the words of their staff member and create a stellar customer experience? Nah.
3. They said I should have noted the name of the lady who said all these things at the time of issuing the voucher. Really? Do I have a reason to believe someone wearing the logo of Life Pharmacy cannot be trusted to represent the policy of the store? Wouldn’t I rather be with my ailing family member than go to extra lengths of scrutiny?
4. I asked them to check who was the senior staff on duty on Jan 14 and confirm directly with her about the case via a phone call. They said she has probably left the company as the name is not showing up against the Operator ID (is that how operations works?)
5. The question is – did the staff member that issued the voucher misrepresent the renewal policy? But why would she do that, instead of simply initiating a refund to the debit card?
6. Why would a refund take 15 – 30 days in the back office of the largest pharmacy chain in the United Arab Emirates?
7. The store staff tried to help by calling someone and saying I am a regular customer who wants to renew the voucher. I am not a regular customer, so what was the need to say that?
8. I asked for Actifed Cough and Cold. They said it is not available and out of stock since six months. Actifed is rebranded to Pana Cough and available in smaller pharmacies, as well as its own online store. Did the flagship store really didn’t have it since 6 months or was the staff clueless about the rebranding and turned away a customer? I picked it up from another pharmacy.

Consider the fact that a retail business tries to push a voucher subject to expiry to a customer instead of refunding it back to the debit card. And the idea of making AED 365.55 for no goods sold is attractive to a 450+ store chain?

The Al Wasl branch of Life Pharmacy has several 1-star reviews. The branch and retail chain would do well to invest in reputation management.

The staff at registration is extremely disorganized and they do not have empathy for the patients
There is one lady who is engaged with a patient for more than 30 minutes for some issue rather than just asking him to wait and let other patients enrol for registration
Even you have an appointment you are treated like you are there for free, this kind of attitude
I will personally never register myself for this clinic
I hope the management take account of this seriously or there is another clinic opened in JVC so the staff can learn basic customer care.

I was a regular customer buying from life pharmacy long time and all of my prescription from my dermatologist which is Accutane was also bought from different shop. today, i visited the shop for different complaint, i have to find the right medicine for my stomach since it is been hurting. the pharmacist named KAVYA MANAMAL KUNI gives me option which is buscopan and i was trying to buy the cheapest one since i have medicine at my home. after the conversation i asked to pay and the gaviscon she finished the transaction and asked me if cash and card. i said “card” after the payment she was give me the bottle without proper packaging, i used to buy in life pharmacy and i know that they are using the brown bag. i asked her so should i bring like this? and she was telling to me that there is a payment of 50 fils for the bag. so i answer her that u ddint asked me to pay the bag, i would have paid it if your asking to? the pharmacist assuming that since i only bought 19dhs for gaviscon i wont be able to pay the 50 fils. is this how the customer treated in life pharmacy? she is really unprofessional and rude. wearing lab coat and doesn’t know how to respect. Please do the training for the employee for the right conduct. i believed that life pharmacy has a good quality of medicine and good reputation. Sadly, the staff ruined it.

Dishonest and Unfair trade practice

I am regular customer of life pharmacy to buy my medications for prescription issued elsewhere. Though I used to buy from life pharmacy in Burjuman, I switched to their branch No: 79 located in Zarooni Building , opposite to Burjuman center ,since 1 year , since it is just a street away from my house. Only lately, I came to realize that 2 pharmacists there are involved in unscrupulous and cheating activities.
Instance1: We used to buy T. Olmepress 40 mgs regularly from them and one day when I had sent my daughter to buy the medicine (even though they her), the pharmacist gave the most expensive one and daughter brought the medicine home without knowing the exact price. I was alarmed on seeing the same soon after I returned home from my duty and told her to return it back and get it refunded ( since the box was not opened). While she went their the pharmacist gave a credit note for that amount and while I spoke to him to refund into my credit card account, he refused saying they only provide credit note which is a blatant lie since other branches do provide refund into your credit card. Again when I enquired why he gave me the costlier local brand, he said that brand was mentioned in the prescription which is not the case since only the generic name was mentioned in the prescription which is attached herewith. The actual price of an imported better quality medicine is AED 51.00 for 1 month medicines while the pharmacist gave my daughter the other brand for AED 159.00 for 1 month medicine.

Instance 2: We usually buy medicines for 3 months since these are regular medicines for chronic problems. Last 3 visits to the branch number 79 of life pharmacy near Burjuman, we have noticed that they don’t give us the full supply at the same time though they take the money. The 2 pharmacists whom I mentioned above typically say one of the medicine they have less stock and they would deliver it the next day and we trust them and bring home the medicines whatever they provide. They have never bothered to call us or deliver us the remaining medicine once they received even though our flat is a 2 minutes walk from their pharmacy. Only we customers had to go back after a few days and request them again and collect it. During the last purchase way back in June, we totally forgot and after 2 weeks while crossing the pharmacy my wife alerted me of the remaining medicines and we went to the pharmacy and requested and they were simply acting and finally they gave us the remaining medicines without any remorse. If you forget to collect, then, the pharmacists pocket them or sell to some other customers. It’s a shameful act of cheating customers in the name of forgetfulness and unethical unfair trade practices. I was wondering what other innocent people would do or how they would suffer in the hands of these cheating pharmacists. They are very untrustworthy pharmacists who are just there to suck poor people’s blood just like any other.

PS: The attached image is the actual prescriptionfor which medicine was sought in the 1st instance and the medicine which I bought after the credit refund issue is shown here. Initially they have issued Olmetec 40 mgs the price of which is 3 times the one pictured here. Inspite of us known very well to them, they still take a chance to cheat us saying that Olmetec 40 mgs was mentioned in the prescription which is not the case as seen from the prescription

I have tried ordering medicines through the Life App – everytime they have no stock of the needed medication. Useless. False assurances that we can order from the convenience of our home. Please don’t rely on this app. I just finished surgery and uploaded the prescription. They don’t even have antibiotics. The delivery came with some painkillers that insurance don’t cover. They don’t even stock necessary medications. It is a cosmetic shop all the beauty products are available. I had to go out myself and buy medicines. DO NOT RELY ON THE LIFE APP. They can be reached for regular vitamin and beauty product delivery!

Life Pharmacy Sheikh Zayed Road

I went to Sheikh Zayed Road branch and it has the worst customer service experience.

One lady was sitting on a chair next to cosmetics section and asking customers to bring the products to her so she can check. Apparently she is working there as a supervisor or pharmacist.

After I paid at the counter, the cashier handed me what I bought without asking if I need receipt or a bag for my items.

When I was leaving, the guy standing next to the door who looks like a doorman, was just standing without opening the door.

Obviously, there are more people than what is required. If they are there to work, they should atleast assist customers and not just be there to show how they are not needed.

Overall, these extra people just made the experience worst as they are there to not even care.

I believed in life pharmacy because of one of the staff by name Angela @ Life pharmacy besides chiothram JVC, she is a my skincare plug when ever I visit, she is has adequate knowledge about skincare, above all she is not only about the sales but making sure you drive the ultimate satisfaction from every product she suggests. I have pigmentation for almost 2 years before I encounter her, I spent more than 3000 AED on some skincare she gave me I never regretted it. My pigmentation gone and totally faded off. She said, “take my words and follow this simple steps you will not regret it” I did and it worked. She is more than a skin analyst she is detailed when dealing with customers.

Regrettably, I visited Last week and I was confirmed she has been transferred I asked of her number but the lady staff declined. My vacation is almost over can you connect me to her please.

I bought a medicine from one of the branches at International City, the sales person swipe my debit card twice without providing a decline receipt . Both are debited on my bank account , reflected on my billing of statement with 2 different trqnsaction number. I called their attention thru costumer service complain but saying same thing only one reflect on their system where during the time of purchased , sales person admitted their system doesn’t work that day . When I raise the complain in the costumer service , they said, they cant do anything because it will be a lost on their side. I said how come? After 15 days my bank will forward to the merchant the amount of the 2 transactions debited into my account . ….. lost of their pharmacy or lost on the costumer because of their defect system? What a stressful and horrible experience!

Order Aptamil HA2 for my infant, order was delayed. Nazish from the call centre committed a 25% once the order was delivered. Received the order but no discount voucher received as committed. When I buy it they told me it has a warranty. if any problem gives we will repair or replace it. last 17 days before (13/01/2023) I returned the product because it is not working. That request was for the pharmacist who speaks the same language, but he gave me a mask cream, confirming that this is what I asked for. After placing an order and then calling them in the morning to ask for an update and explaining the urgency, they never called me back or updated me for 3 hours. After I followed up a second time, they explained it is not in stock and that they will deliver later in the day. 30 Minutes is not factual and you are better off cabbing it to the nearest pharmacy or using another service if you really need something. Bad smell and bitter taste to protein supplement

I ordered whey protein powder from Life Pharmacy and upon opening , it smelled bad unlike the same exact product I’ve purchased before. When I tried it, it tasted bitter. I got an upset stomach right after. I filled a complaint on their app where I purchased it from. They assured they’d get back to me within 2 days. They sent someone to pick up next day and on day 4 I called. After a long hold , they said there was nothing wrong with the product and would not refund my money!!

After a day of keep receiving notification of their offers I tried to complete the order again but same issue. I don’t know this error. ..Salary should be paid on time and not as per your wish.It is the right of workers ..Everybody has difficulties . Islam says that the worker should be paid before the sweat dries. I don’t know if that is the current problem. A month’s salary sometimes comes at the end of the following month.
don’t know if this will be noticed by your company..salary is related to everything .we have room rent etc.i never seen any company like this here in uae ….sorry to say ..

One (lady Name is poja ) very very badly handy. She spoke like a law. We spent one hr . But not work. My wife is pregnant we very sad with this lady. Please don’t by anything from this pharmacy.I will writing this incident in DHA

Bad service

A very bad service I had received a broken item. When I asked to refund they said they will take it for ‘evaluation’ and that will take 5 days at least. I made it clear that I need that thermometer for babies and I have to buy new one. The customer care lady said she will ask for urgent collection. Next day no one show up and they asked me to go drop it myself to the nearest life pharmacy shop. So now I have to do the delivery job for them.
I called them again next day she said she will send a delivery for collection and she didn’t do it again.

Very very bad service and I will never buy from them again. This service should be the same as I bought in store. The customer should have the right to replace or refund same as buying in-store.

Horrible customer service

Your JVC branch customer service is horrible now. Please get back tye previous team as they were great. They take over 45 minutes to answer WhatsApp messages and when you call they keep and transferring me from staff to other. At the end I must contact other pharmacy to get my medication.

Life Muraqabat branch are UNPROFESSIONAL, Lack of knowledge about the products, rude

Today is July 22 2022 12:40 midnight. I called life pharmacy muraqabat deira branch for a home delivery. A filipina lady answered and said just msg her in whatsapp for my orders. So i did. Then after taking a while i noticed she dont respond anymore so i call. When i call she said she have other customer and she hangs up the phone. Then i called again a guy answered then the guy said that lady is not a pharmacist and that she dont know. So i ask a few questions about my order through phone again the pharmacist said they are busy. And the way they talk to the phone are very unprofessional. I am getting more sick with that kind of staffs they dont care. I am also a customer!!!!

Steam inhaler

I purchased a steam inhaler which was on offer for my son travelling to Canada, but due to its plug 🔌 issue I came back to return the product, I have not even opened it. They refuse to take it back or exchange it. Having no alternative I opened and used the product and surprisingly there is no steam coming out of the device. No wonder they are selling the product half the price. It’s a scam be aware

Disappointing to order online. On approaching online, customer r made to wait indefinitely on pretext of being in que. Why not have more attending online request if its your business.

Big Liars

I had to immediately buy nebulizer for my infant and I mistakenly bought Their Trister brand Nebulizer after being told it is the best and Low noise nebulizer… But when i open it at home and turned on the base it is soo loud and heavily vibrating that my little baby who is badly aick got scared and cried like hell… I immediately sent my huaband to return it, however they refused to take it back saying it non-returnable item because of promotion… And said that it is mentioned on the counter board… Which person in emergency would read boards in pharmacy… And The funniest thing is Trister is their own fake brand and is always on promotion… The stuff is not worth buying even for free…

I have been looted by this misleading, fake, fraudulent, criminals…

Instant deliveries which suppose to be 2hrs are delivered after the 6th day of the order, so if there is patient who is suffering for something, he might already been dead before the medicines arrive
