Expensive and Casual attitude of the staff

I was served beef in my club sandwich and am allergic to beef as a result I was very sick and had stomach cramps after eating it. In a normal 5 star restaurant a waitress normally asks ‘ if allergic to anything’ she didn’t ask. Normal requests were not followed by her while telling the chef my requirement as well.

When I did tell the management I am allergic to beef and I was served beef. The attitude of the management and the staff was very casual. They neither apologized nor tried to rectify their mistake.

In my opinion the bad quality food which they served was overpriced. I have lived in Dubai for the past 42 years and have been to many fine dining restaurants but never experienced something like what I have experienced today. I will never recommend this restaurant to my friends and will never step into it again.

Chose 3 cakes take away – not worth the money!

I ordered 4 slices for my sisters birthday as she did not want a full cake. I took the coconut mango cake, honey cake and white mousse square cho cake. I must be honest for the price of 174 aed i could have got a very tasty full cake from hummingbird. Also was charged 34aed just for a small marzipan that read “happy birthday” – the coconut mango cake was so hard almost stale. I wouldnt purchase here again.
