No delivery or delivering to wrong address

They used to be efficient. I don’t know who they hired or what they changed and turned it all upside down.
– they deliver to wrong address (found out it’s a repeated complaint on google reviews)
– after 13 hours delay, no response to my requests , only me and the shop communicating trying to reach them with no response, they marked my 865 aed order delivered while the shop confirmed the driver hasn’t arrived.
– customer service disappeared, you no longer have the option to talk to someone

Very unprofessional

My experience with instashop was very bad and it was the first and the last time that I order from them. My order was a cake and after 4 hours the only number they put on the application is the number of the cake shop I called them they said that my order is ready from long time but the rider is not yet coming.,, 4HOURS… call center not answering., they don’t put the rider number and the surprise is that I CAN NOT CANCEL THE ORDER because they assign it to a rider 😂 with no rider at all 😡 very unprofessional

Always Late

Every time I have ordered with InstaShop it has always been late. I made an order today of a simple umbrella at 4:30pm and by 8:30pm I had to call to see where my order was. Turns out the driver hadn’t even arrived at the store yet. I will never be using Instashop again, I deleted the app.

Useless

Delivered to a wrong address without checking and left bags on the heat without any call or message to anyone. Managed to track down which address through a community group after 45 minutes when the food was already completely ruined and half the order (1 bag) was totally missing. InstaShop? More like InstaFlop.

Let me say it loud and clear: this app is an absolute disgrace when it comes to reliability, customer service, and the sheer audacity of charging people for a service they clearly can’t provide properly.

They throw around terms like “service fee” and “preparation fee” like you’re getting premium service – but what you’re really paying for is incompetence wrapped in a broken app experience.

Missing orders? That’s basically a feature at this point. Orders disappear into the void, and you’re left sitting there like an idiot, wondering why you even trusted this app with your time and money in the first place.

Customer support? Laughably slow. You have to report the same issue TWICE just to get a callback — and even then, they’ll take 20 to 30 minutes to respond. When they finally grace you with a phone call, their responses are vague, clueless, and completely unhelpful. They can’t tell you if they’ve reached the shop, they don’t know the status of your order, and they certainly can’t give you a real delivery time.

What they can do though, is insult your intelligence by offering you a 10 or 20 AED voucher as if that somehow makes up for a ruined schedule, wasted time, and broken expectations. But of course, the voucher can only be used on their useless app again – meaning you’re forced back into the same broken system like a fool.

This isn’t just bad service. It’s maliciously careless. They rely on customer tolerance and emotional manipulation. They know most people will settle for a few dirhams just to move on. But this is unacceptable. A refund should be standard as per bank policies, not a pathetic, forced “voucher” to keep you trapped.

InstaShop: Instant Delivery To Your Door?
More like: Gone Orders in an Instant.

A service this unreliable has no business charging anyone a dirham. If you’re thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and don’t.

(I love how they ask for ‘Date of experience’ as if this would have been the only time they messed about.)

Basically, you order, you pay, then you are left on your own. My order was more than 1 hour late, no way for me to get in touch with anyone to get an update on the delivery.

Instashop refused to refund broken cookies

I placed an order from Spinney’s that included Waitrose shortbreads. (Address was place I was visiting.) Unfortunately, these are not in a box like Walker’s. 8 of the 10 cookies arrived broken. Got error messages when I tried to report. In a callback following email, CS refused refund because broken cookies were with me at usual address, not where I ordered from. But their complaints function not working immediately following delivery. So, be wary of ordering while visiting somewhere (hotel, beach, retreat)4r.

Big disappointment

I order some food 1 hour and half ago from carrefour, which is located 500 metters from my home.
Waiting all this time after The delivery was out for delivery already, they canceled my order. I went the same carrefour and found the same products available in the shop. What is that service? What is that app? U make me wait 2 hours and y cancel order?! I call them and my location was resulting correct. Why the app was showing the delivery guy already out for delivery my order? Mouldy food , terrible customer service

We received mouldy peppers from a store ordered through InstaShop. InstaShop did not try to provide any adequate solutions to the issue. Nobody contacted us to offer a resolution even after we submitted photos through their app.
Highly disappointing. Don’t use InstaShop if you have any level of expectations for customer service.

My order was due to be delivered at 6.30pm. My address in my address book and other details in my account were correct. After waiting 1h30 past my delivery time I call customer service and they told me my pin location was in JVC so they cannot delivered to the Marina where I live. I told them my address was the Marina all the way but apparently the pin location must have pick up where I placed the order from and apparently they only use the pin to find the delivery location…still they never contacted me. They were totally unhelpful on the phone and it was the most shocking customer service ever. What is the point of asking for an address with detailed instruction if they dont use it ?

Ordered items almost within 2 km of delivery range . After almost 2 hrs called and got a reply that it’s delayed pickup guy at destination and will get it in another 30-40 min. Waited another hour and half and at midnight they called can we cancel your and refund yourorder.

Terrible delivery times, no way to contact them

If you order with instashop expect your delivery to be late, very late. A promised 30 minute delivery can easily become 2 hours. You cannot see where delivery driver is, they don’t call you, you cannot contact them (only do a fire and forget message). There are many options for delivery in the UAE, and many of them are better unfortunately

I placed an order on Friday 12 and they Make me wait all day and even InstaShop call me to tel me is going to delivered in an 1 hour; which never happened because they didn’t delivered … and instashop CHARGED ME As a result not groceries and paid for something I didn’t even received after complained they refund the money BUT I need to wait 5/7 days for the money the bank, when I should received the money imminently because was their mistake when I called to complaint they said sorry was the store fault (union coop) and just I need to wait to received my money!!!. Today I went to make a change in the review and charged me 3AED on my credit card for “tip” what type of scam is this???!!! After I called them (once again) they told me O need to wait another 3/5 days to received the 3AED… this is scam

Both, instashop and vperfumes is not taking responsibility for these counterfeit products.

Money just down the drain. Instashop has agreed on call that 95% of their customers have complained about vperfumes, but still take no action against them.

I ordered from viva supermarket using instashop. It’s mention there that I will received the order within 90mins. So I go on and order. To my surprise the delivery took 2hrs and they said that they are waiting for my respond about the 1 item that is not currently available. I responded to that with no replacement directly when I received a notification so they are just making there excuse for being late. And the worst part is, when my husband received the order, it is completely different from what I ordered! Imagine being pregnant and you are starving! Its really a horrible experience for me. I will delete the application now.!!

I ordered at about 9pm. Packet of Kale arrived ripped open and not full from Spinneys. The Driver would not take it back. My order ID:3589406 placed on 17jul with Spinneys via InstaShop. Actual order value is approx AED140 and I have been billed AED184.03 and this has been claimed also. On top of it some of the items were not delivered. So the actual value of the items delivered is only AED100. Instashop initially gave a goodwill amount of AED20 and another AED18.50. So what happens to the balance amount that has been fraudulently debited to my card? No response from InstaShop for the messages and emails sent. Daylight robbery!!!

Untrustworthy HR team from talent acquisition

I got a very bad experience with instashop in Dubai, UAE because of their HR team when i attend the interview and they informed me that you’re shortlisted after that sorry rejected and position is on hold. Is that logic 🤔, after that I requested to meet the HR or to get a feedback about my interview how I got accepted then rejected but she refused to answer even to replay with a good or postive comment, I will never deal or make any orders from instashop and will not recommend this company to anyone.

Order never arrived

I placed an order with INSTASHOP around 12 noon.
– app kept showing driver on the way
– at 14:00, app showed driver on the way but order delivered at 12:34
– I send a message saying I didn’t receive my order 3 times but until I got a reply that someone is checking
– I call them the lady on the phone says:” Mam you received maybe or you didn’t receive it, we will investigate and hangs up”.
– I get a call from a guy saying:” Mam maybe someone else in the house received it and you don’t know or maybe it’s in front of the door”.
– I had no order whatsoever and nothin was in front of my door.
– the guy calls again saying: my stuff were chilled and the driver never picked it up.

For a bill of 224 aed, I had to:
– fight for 45 minutes
– accused of being fruit thief
– accused of receiving an order which I didn’t
And the best part they don’t answer, they take their time and call at their convenience.

It is a joke and a scam.
Such stores shouldn’t be in our beloved UAE.

Non delivery, but they debit my account anyway

Have used Instashop for years. Pre-pandemic they used to be great for delivery and customer service. They have gone increasingly downhill and even their well-trained customer service team can’t cope with the frequent ineptitudes in delivery and reliability. Examples include frequent problems with selecting products for an order, only to find the prices quickly increased after placing the order, with the final price more than the original order value. Most recently, Instashop debited my account with AED 72, but the order never arrived at all. Cust Service promised to refund my wallet and compensate, but instead, zero compensation, no return of funds to my wallet, and an inconvenient 3-5 working day wait for the amount to be returned to my bank account. Cust Service “Escalation Manager” (Gavin) was rude to me, lied about what was agreed about the wallet refund with his colleague, constantly interrupted and was full of excuses.
Instashop used to provide a good service, but are no longer competent or trustworthy, in my frequent experience of multiple transactions with them. Strange that they have increased their fees in line with the decline in service.

They will never refund your money

I just noticed, after 5 years , that Foodland Shop will charge you for your initial order, then they will check if they have all your requested products and then they will send you 2 products even so you paid for 4 . They are supposed to refund you the money they took from your account unauthorized in 5 to 7 days .
Of course i never received any money.
Even so I contacted Insta Shop team and i sent them my bank statement of the month in case, they are telling me to contact my bank maybe the refund is not reflecting in my bank statement but they guarantee the money was refunded.
This is hilarious and unacceptable to happen in Dubai . In Europe it is something normal but I can’t accept this in Dubai .
Dubai is a dream world and this kind of cases should be stopped and banned.

It has its good and bad sides

The good side is that you don’t have to go to the supermarket on a very busy day, it helps a lot to save a lot of time, they deliver to your house, so it’s convenient.
The bad part is that many of the products you select are always missing, they hardly refresh the page, if you ask for fruits and vegetables they will choose the oldest ones and send you, this has happened to me several times.
