Property Agent Tariq Ali – dishonest , misleading and unprofessional
We dealt with Tariq Ali – property supervisor from Harbor Real Estate. At the time of end of contract / handover of the unit we requested for refund of our security deposit paid to this company. Tariq mentioned they would need to do an inspection of the unit which we agreed. The inspection was carried out just 2 days before we moved out and at that time after inspecting the unit he mentioned that we had kept the unit very well and that he would get the security deposit refunded through the new owner ( the unit got sold to another owner during our tenure of the contract). It was agreed between Tariq and the new owners property agent that the inspection would be carried out by Tariq. Since the inspection was carried out by him and not another agent of the new owner we expected him to cooperate. The security deposit was deliberately delayed by Tariq and he also instructed the other agent to not refund us the deposit back!! This was alarming as he continued to mention to us that the apartment was well maintained by us and he would get the deposit settled very soon. Tariq was not transparent , was rude , very unprofessional in his dealing with us. We do not recommend dealing with this company as our experience with him as an employee has been very bad , we were misled by him and approach was to refuse the refund of the security deposit. Such actions make us wonder if there is anything done to correct such fraudulent practices by such unprofessional agents!!!! Avoid this agent and this company !!!!

Served an increase in rent. We hesitantly agreed. Signed the contract. They served an eviction notice right after indicating the owner wants to sell. They knew the owner intended to sell, gets us to sign a renewal and then immediately serves a eviction notice. This indicates that they just used us to raise the value of the house and get a paid time to look for new ownet of the house. That is not the way a trustworthy compqny should operate.
I stayed in this building for 30 months. Then the building office forced me to move out since their flat is meant for only families. After I vacated the flat in the month of September the real estate was not showing any interest to repay my deposit. After repeated e mails, They transferred Dhs 346/ where my deposit was Dhs 2000/.When I enquired about the justification of remaining deposit, they have sent me a beautiful list.Am attaching it here. They made a fake list of things where I have the proof that it is available there.Am writing this review not for my money but for those new tenants to be careful with their fraud behavior.
They are keeping my 2 properties vacant for last few months. Neither giving me handover not the rent from last 6 months. Also, they don’t answer to your emails.
