I cannot recommend Genesis Healthcare Center highly enough.

From my very first consultation, Dr Marta took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns and understand exactly what I wanted to achieve. Rather than recommending unnecessary treatments, she created a bespoke treatment plan tailored specifically to my skin. Her honesty, integrity and incredible human touch are what truly set her apart. She recommended PRP with microneedling because it was the right treatment for me. The outstanding results speak for themselves and that level of trust means I will always return to Dr Marta. She is an exceptional doctor who genuinely puts her patients first.

A huge thank you to Elvina, who performed my microneedling treatments. She shares the same patient-first approach as Dr Marta, professional, skilled, gentle and incredibly caring. She always makes me feel comfortable, listens to my needs and delivers every treatment with exceptional attention to detail. I couldn’t have asked for better care.

Finally, a special mention to Jenna and the wonderful reception team. Jenna is always warm, bubbly, welcoming and incredibly helpful, making every visit a pleasure from start to finish.

Went for a dermatologist

We went to go see Dr. Victoria who was recommended to us by a lot of moms. My daughter had very bad skin rash which caused her sleepless nights (this means us parents too!). I did not want to go to just any other derma, I have researched who is best to see and assess our 7month old. She was competent, pleasant to speak with, and very considerate. Definitely worth the money as my daughter became better after what she prescribed and what she told us to do.

However, I had an unpleasant experience with their receptionist. You see, I called to book an appointment but since dr Victoria is very popular, he (Charles) told me that I can be booked on April 29th. After hearing that, I asked if maybe they can do something about it because it was an emergency. He asked what it was and I explained our situation. He said “as what I’ve said earlier, she will be available on April blah blah” and went on to suggest another dermatologist who is supposedly going to start with Genesis on Feb. This was after I heavily explained why it was an emergency. If I wanted another doctor, I would have went with any other hospital!

Luckily I was able to reach out to dr. Victoria and was scheduled the next day! What a relief! I was eager to meet the person who I spoke with over the phone. To my dismay, he said (yes te) this is an informal greeting in Filipino. I imagined he thought I was a nanny cos when I came forward with my daughter he changed his greeting to yes ma’am. Even if I was a nanny, that is very unprofessional! It’s like he chooses who he will respect or treat kindly. If not for dr. Victoria’s expertise, I would have gone another way just because of this receptionist.

Dr. Victoria later on tells me that she would want the receptionist to tell her straight away if its an emergency so she can try to squeeze it in despite her busy schedule. Of course I told her the story of how shocked I was to be given a schedule by April. But this person failed to inform her or her nurse.

I’m just happy that my daughter is well & better now. Thanks to the doctor. We went for a follow up check up 4 days after and the woman who was in the reception was lovely. Hope it will always be her.
