Online ordering process

This review is not about the money or the value of a gift card but it’s about the overall of experience to deal with it.

Its understandable that usage of a gift card comes with certain terms and conditions but the way it’s designed, it’s impossible to use it.
1. Can’t apply of discounted items (the value is a value but OK, this clause is understandable)
2. Can’t use it on half the brands ( if faces is providing a voucher should be free to use against anything in faces, the card is for the brand. But again that also is limited, but OK nevermind.)
3. Some of the things you can’t apply the gift card on are generallically stated, Eg. Products of tyrano product, life pharmacy. While adding product to cart how do you identify what to exclude????
4. Gift card cannot be applied to gift sets. This is not even stated on the exclusions (even if gift set is full priced). You will not know this till u call n check.
5. And this is the worst – After all the things you can’t add, you figure few things to add and then finally check out. You apply tye gift card and it gets applied ( no error).however, card pYmrnt gives error and its a nightmare to find out start happened. Card works everywhere else but faces
6. Ultimately get different reasons from different personnel in customer service advising different actions. While I agree they should be better trained for troubleshooting, I do have to admit they are all extremely nice and patient (guess only positive for the brand).
All in all – Faces is highly disappointing and they’re is no reason to go to Faces unless the price variance is worth the ordeal!!

If you value your time, just stay away from them. There is always an issue with Faces: delayed deliveries, cancelled items (after I spend a lot of time to choose my products, they just simply cancel them!), invalid gift vouchers, unreliable and unresponsive website. As an instance, I have used one of their vouchers, and after i have redeemed it, and I had to complete the payment for the outstanding balance, the webpage crashed. Therefore, the voucher was marked as used, although the order didn’t get placed as the payment failed. I raised the issue with them, but they never replied. On another occasion, I placed an order and received a gift voucher as well, by email, to discover later that it’s actually invalid, it has a bar code, but it doesn’t have a gift card number, and it has a validity date as 01Jan, 2001( clearly it hasn’t been activated). I raised the issue twice with them, but never got a reply.
Thankfully, there are so many other options on the market, so I’ll stay away from a company that doesn’t value customer loyalty.

Dear Faces,

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent purchase I made at your store. On 30/04/23, I visited your store and requested a specific item, Dolce & Gabanna Intense 100ML which he offered me prior for a particular purpose.

However, on my way home when I checked the item, I realized that the item you sold me was not what I had requested. Instead, I received 50ML, which is completely different from what I had asked for. This has caused me a great deal of inconvenience and frustration, as I now have to go through the process of returning the item and finding a replacement.

I am disappointed that your store did not fulfill my request and instead provided me with the wrong item. As a loyal customer of your store, I expect a certain level of service and attention to detail, and this experience has left me feeling let down.

Kudos to Fatima (Cashier) and Indian National supervisor on duty. Despite of my frustration they even added more to my confusion on how you guys deals with your customers. Both of them are trying their best to cover up for the salesman (of D&G) and to take note that they’re not fully aware of the name of their “colleague”. I requested to refund back my money they they completely neglect that and trying their best to offer another product and to educate me that “I cannot buy worth 400 AED for 100ML perfume on your store”. Which I finally conclude that the people who attended are having poor understanding of what customer service is.

I kindly request that you take immediate action to remedy this situation. Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could ensure that this type of mistake does not happen again in the future.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt response.
