The worst customer service among all banks in the Emirates. I paid the debt and submitted a check for the full required amount about a month ago, and until now the check has not been deposited in my account and I have not received the clearance letter, which has resulted in additional fines being imposed on me. I do not recommend dealing with this bank at all.

I am trying to use the FAB app for DU billing, but each time it deducts AED 300 and sends me a message that it’s unsuccessful! Really? I received AED 300 back after sending an email; however, there is still a pending AED 300 for a second transaction that they billed me for and sent a message saying it’s unsuccessful! Really? I can’t even trust the FAB app to charge my DU number?

Hello, this is the worst experience I face by a reputable bank (FAB) in The UAE
I have sold my car Bentley through bank loan (FAB) 2 weeks ago and I have no clear response about my Cheque status
Any other bank in the UAE takes 3 to 5 days to issue the payment

They offer better interest rates on mortgages but the pre approval is done on loans without proper checks. They pre approve and then the paperwork processing takes more than a month keeping us waiting and following up constantly only after a month and spending initial costs from our side, they come back stating loan is rejected verbally with not an acceptable reasoning. Refuse to send email regarding rejection. We’ve not only lost our money but also time and efforts. Customer care has not reverted on our complaint either.

Blocked amounts/ Discrepancy and wrong debit you try to ask they do not care or either leave you alone.
No accountability and No response.

This is the worse ,unfaithful , disrespectful and destructive bank that I have experienced .They take advantage of you and they will not show any mercy to destroy you if you do not fulfill their greed. If you go to them with a problem they will take advantage of your problem. I lost my business and almost lost my father because of the bank and feeling being cheated and threatened by the bank staff.
The staff and officers are very unprofessional and unpleasant and rudely behaved.
I request not to take any product or deal with FAB because they are very unsecured and unreliable bank and can withdraw and block you and degrade you and your company in Central bank any time of which all your facilities in our bank with freez and then they will make to run around the branch with zero Customer service and no reason and justification for their action till you fulfill theirs extra monetary demands.

When you are having a problem or you have a matter to address there is no way to reach anyone for help and this is soooooo frustrating, they got no customer service, unreachable staff not by phone or email or even call center, no follow-ups on pending issues unless you go physically to the bank

I have asked this bank to close and cancel my card on 2015. After 8 years, imagine 8 years! They sent me a statement from their collections department for annual fee charges and overlimit fee which after 8 long years it amounted to more than AED 2000. The worst part is because of this mistake, they impacted my credit score from the bureau imagine they have placed me in non payment since December!!!!! I asked them to amend my score in the bureau but they said it is not possible as it is an anual limit charges. If they were able to put this is the bureau why they cant amend it? Seriously This bank is not only cheaters but they will screw your life just like they did to me.

Dear sir,
I am getting bill asking to pay the purchase fees and three months non payment penalty for a credit which I didnt recieve
I have applied for a card in nov. 2022 When one of your employee mr. Rajasekhar mob # 0509518998 who approached me to offer a free for life credit card offering cash backs and all. Since i was having some other credit cards i denied it. He chased me even when i was admitted in hospital. He offered cash backs and finally i agreed to purchase a card. You could see the attached whatsapp chat which we had in addition to his promise calls many time. I gave my soft copy documents to apply for the card. When the courier guy came to deliver the card he asked me to sign on some terms and conditions from bank (3 or more pages) to recieve the card. Since the same is not a usual practise and i didn’t agree with Rajsekhar while i gave my documents that i will sign off some documents of bank other than courier delivery, i called rajasekhar and informed him clearly that i didn’t agree to sign of any documents. More over i was too busy in my work and i don’t have time to review the whole terms and conditions, more over the delivery guy was in a hurry to go back he returned without delivering my card. Rajasekhar know that I didn’t recieve the card.
I didnt have any information after that until i got this bill yesterday demanding payment for purchase and three months penalty for default payment.
I am too frustrated recieving the bill for a credit card which is not in my posession. Your sales agent have cheated me hiding informations from me.
I urgently request you to call back the subject bill and give me a clearance letter so that my credit score not effected.
I called your customer service number and he didn’t help , instead he told me that you back office team will contact me on this. But i got a message saying that he initiated a request to cancel the subject card.

As per my experience this is only one bank will charge you annual fee for your credit without activation. They don’t tell you anything about cards, they tell card is free for life. They insist you to sign the documents.
I have never seen a such ridiculous, dishonesty. I’m paying AED 315 annual fee to the bank without activating the credit card. This is good business 😊. God bless FAB. I have cheated and learnt a lesson. Beware Guys. Thanks.

Non recommended to anyone. I was cheated twice by this bank. First time I was given Etihad credit card and was told by the bank representative that there is no annual fees to be paid but I was charged 2500 AED annual fees. Then when I requested to cancel it I was convinced after many phone calls from different employees from that bank to replace Etihad card with Infinite Elite card which has no annual fees for life. I received the card and I didn’t even activate it then after 3 years I was shocked when I received an email from this bank with an estatement of 840AED annual fees to pay.

I bought credit card from them, it was going well. I used to get points. But i was not using much. One day i got call from one of the FAB agent saying he will give me the insurance which is free. I dont have to pay anything. In this way i should not close my card. But after a month i was getting bill for that insurance which he promised. I paid complete debit amount and stopped using their card. Requested them to cancel the insurance and waive off the charges. They promised to cancel the plan, but told to pay all amount which i did not used at all. I paid fully. still they did not close my card or the plan at all. I tried to call them multiple times requested them that i got cheated. When i called thier manager. He shouted at me and told to pay the bill completely. I regaret that i bought FAB card. I will just close the card. I will never suggest to buy from FAB. They just loot the people to fullfil their targt. Pathetic service.

Cheater bank, always charge you more and if you call them they will take minimum 30 minutes to understand your issue. I received my Fab salary account kit. I was instructed to activate through fab mobile app. I need to enter customer ID . I entered the customer id number provided in the kit. It gave me wrong number. After multiple times I got a customer service person and he advised me take the 7 digits from the middle of the number provided. I don’t understand why this thing wasn’t mentioned in the kit. I had to call to get this info. Second, I need my Iban. I searched all over the app. No use. I googled. Had to call. But the virtual assistant doesn’t understand my need and won’t let me get an officer. I see a lot of news of fab as the best bank in LinkedIn. This is my first experience with fab. My previous bank with dib is far far more better. When I switched bank I expected more.

I have opened a current account in Mushriffmall Branch UAE and every month there is a deduction of 25AED mentioning the minimum balance charge.
when the account was opened customer service agent named Mohammed Ibrahim mentioned there is no minimum balance requirement. now every month I have to talk to customer care agents and everyone gives me different updates when I mentioned I will cancel the account there also have charges.
Desired outcome: I cannot maintain the balance so kindly refund my amount. and allow me to cancel my account without a fee

If I could rate it less than 1 star… it would be MINUS A MILLION STARS!!! This is the worst bank in the UAE, let this be a warning to anyone wishing to open a bank account… LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!
Where to start: the lies, the unprofessional, rude customer service representatives, the excuses to cause delays, the misinformation, the lack of empathy…. the list is endless.
I had a ”dormant account” (an account that hadn’t been used for over 3 years) I wanted a liability letter (which has a validity of 14 days from being requested, and can take up to 10 days to get to you!), to close it and my credit card with them… they had been adding charges to the ”dormant” account!! Though I had had no notification (they claim I was sent an e-statement every 3 months that I couldn’t access and I had no need to as I was under the impression it was at zero balance). I put in a request to have the charges removed… once I’d reactivated the account…. 2 months later and more charges added, I was told that they couldn’t reverse the charges as there was still a ”live” direct debit attached to it.. again no notification given within the 3 years of not using the account! Trying to call the call centre… rude, unhelpful customer service representatives who on more than two occasions hung up on me.
Don’t try to get things sorted in the bank, you are told to go online, call the call centre (NOT a free phone number) or use the mobile app, all of which give different information! By the way.. the ”dormant account” did not show up on my mobile app that lists my accounts.. again how am I supposed to know! I couldn’t put money into the account as it was ”dormant”, but the bank would add charges and fees every time a ”live” direct debit was attempted to be taken from a ”dormant’ account… how does that even work!! but apparently…. it’s not the bank’s error! No one wants to help you, but they are quite happy to take your money…

I miss NBAD! That was a Bank! This new “FAB” is a pretentious CorpoRAT.
To resolve any issue you have to call and waste time talking to their AI answer machine (Wohoo! So technologically advanced). They lied to me about my mortgage options. When I told them I am transferring (refinancing) my mortgage through another bank, they offered me a solution.. to take a Personal loan to cover the mortgage! They think we are dumb!
Going to their branch does not resolve anything – they tell you “Contact our call centre”. WHAT IS THE POINT OF YOUR PHYSICAL BRANCH?!

Dears, do not be happy if you get credit card from FAB. Better to use any other Banks credit card for your good. Almost last 6 months i am behind FAB for a charge of AED 7500 plus which amount was not authorized by me as i have received OTP from bank without any amount or payer name when i have ordered AED 20 for online purchase. Same time got message that AED 7,500 plus charged to my card. Within minutes informed bank that i have not approved this amount and after weeks they told to file dispute. After months bank said cannot reverse and i have to pay. Complaint and case filed in eveywhere possible but their reply is FAB is out of their Service. So FAB is a special bank that nobody can ask or complaint. If any charges you see in your card you have to pay. In addition to that they have charged additional AED 1,750 as Finance Charge during this dispute period and they said even that is not reversible as it is their Fees. We do not have any place to complaint and need to pay what all bank says. Once you are into FAB customer service you will come to know how it will make your life horrible. They send simply a 6 digit number as OTP without amount and payer name and the amount and payer is up to them how much will be charged to your card. Please use any other banks products as they will show humanity concern even if some scams happened in your card you can reach other banks through many ways. Here FAB will not consider your email and need to call 600525500 and hold for hours and the same continues for many days which will cost you 40 fils per minute for each long calls. If you take leave and visit their branch, the staff is same as seeing thousands of people with same complaint everyday and laugh at you.

They offer better interest rates on mortgages but the pre approval is done on loans without proper checks. They pre approve and then the paperwork processing takes more than a month keeping us waiting and following up constantly only after a month and spending initial costs from our side, they come back stating loan is rejected verbally with not an acceptable reasoning. Refuse to send email regarding rejection. We’ve not only lost our money but also time and efforts. Customer care has not reverted on our complaint either.

I am getting bill asking to pay the purchase fees and three months non payment penalty for a credit which I didnt recieve
I have applied for a card in nov. 2022 When one of your employee mr. Rajasekhar mob # 0509518998 who approached me to offer a free for life credit card offering cash backs and all. Since i was having some other credit cards i denied it. He chased me even when i was admitted in hospital. He offered cash backs and finally i agreed to purchase a card. You could see the attached whatsapp chat which we had in addition to his promise calls many time. I gave my soft copy documents to apply for the card. When the courier guy came to deliver the card he asked me to sign on some terms and conditions from bank (3 or more pages) to recieve the card. Since the same is not a usual practise and i didn’t agree with Rajsekhar while i gave my documents that i will sign off some documents of bank other than courier delivery, i called rajasekhar and informed him clearly that i didn’t agree to sign of any documents. More over i was too busy in my work and i don’t have time to review the whole terms and conditions, more over the delivery guy was in a hurry to go back he returned without delivering my card. Rajasekhar know that I didn’t recieve the card.
I didnt have any information after that until i got this bill yesterday demanding payment for purchase and three months penalty for default payment.
I am too frustrated recieving the bill for a credit card which is not in my posession. Your sales agent have cheated me hiding informations from me.
I urgently request you to call back the subject bill and give me a clearance letter so that my credit score not effected.
I called your customer service number and he didn’t help , instead he told me that you back office team will contact me on this. But i got a message saying that he initiated a request to cancel the subject card.

As per my experience this is only one bank will charge you annual fee for your credit without activation. They don’t tell you anything about cards, they tell card is free for life. They insist you to sign the documents.

Non recommended to anyone. I was cheated twice by this bank. First time I was given Etihad credit card and was told by the bank representative that there is no annual fees to be paid but I was charged 2500 AED annual fees. Then when I requested to cancel it I was convinced after many phone calls from different employees from that bank to replace Etihad card with Infinite Elite card which has no annual fees for life. I received the card and I didn’t even activate it then after 3 years I was shocked when I received an email from this bank with an estatement of 840AED annual fees to pay.

I bought credit card from them, it was going well. I used to get points. But i was not using much. One day i got call from one of the FAB agent saying he will give me the insurance which is free. I dont have to pay anything. In this way i should not close my card. But after a month i was getting bill for that insurance which he promised. I paid complete debit amount and stopped using their card. Requested them to cancel the insurance and waive off the charges. They promised to cancel the plan, but told to pay all amount which i did not used at all. I paid fully. still they did not close my card or the plan at all. I tried to call them multiple times requested them that i got cheated. When i called thier manager. He shouted at me and told to pay the bill completely. I regaret that i bought FAB card. Recently i opened an account with FAB and according to guidelines i follow the same procedure but still failed to get my ATM card. Today i give a call to contact person Mr. Yawar in Dubai branch and the way he talks was very rude. Now, I decided to not proceed further with FAB. Cheater bank, always charge you more and if you call them they will take minimum 30 minutes to understand your issue. After that they will not resolve the issues and close the complain in there system. If you want leave the bank they will make your life miserable and took 3 months in process. I received my Fab salary account kit. I was instructed to activate through fab mobile app. I need to enter customer ID . I entered the customer id number provided in the kit. It gave me wrong number. After multiple times I got a customer service person and he advised me take the 7 digits from the middle of the number provided. I don’t understand why this thing wasn’t mentioned in the kit. I had to call to get this info. Second, I need my Iban. I searched all over the app. No use. I googled. Had to call. But the virtual assistant doesn’t understand my need and won’t let me get an officer. I see a lot of news of fab as the best bank in LinkedIn. This is my first experience with fab. My previous bank with dib is far far more better. When I switched bank I expected more.

The worst customer service as they are representing the bank name. Especially Mr. Vaseem in Mall of the Emirates Branch. He will not let you finish what you are saying. One of the Worst Bank I have ever come across in UAE from the day 1 i opened the account I am facing issues every month I have new problems
I have opened a current account in Mushriffmall Branch UAE and every month there is a deduction of 25AED mentioning the minimum balance charge.
when the account was opened customer service agent named Mohammed Ibrahim mentioned there is no minimum balance requirement. now every month I have to talk to customer care agents and everyone gives me different updates when I mentioned I will cancel the account there also have charges.
Desired outcome: I cannot maintain the balance so kindly refund my amount. and allow me to cancel my account without a fee

If I could rate it less than 1 star… it would be MINUS A MILLION STARS!!! This is the worst bank in the UAE, let this be a warning to anyone wishing to open a bank account… LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!
Where to start: the lies, the unprofessional, rude customer service representatives, the excuses to cause delays, the misinformation, the lack of empathy…. the list is endless.
I had a ”dormant account” (an account that hadn’t been used for over 3 years) I wanted a liability letter (which has a validity of 14 days from being requested, and can take up to 10 days to get to you!), to close it and my credit card with them… they had been adding charges to the ”dormant” account!! Though I had had no notification (they claim I was sent an e-statement every 3 months that I couldn’t access and I had no need to as I was under the impression it was at zero balance). I put in a request to have the charges removed… once I’d reactivated the account…. 2 months later and more charges added, I was told that they couldn’t reverse the charges as there was still a ”live” direct debit attached to it.. again no notification given within the 3 years of not using the account! Trying to call the call centre… rude, unhelpful customer service representatives who on more than two occasions hung up on me.
Don’t try to get things sorted in the bank, you are told to go online, call the call centre (NOT a free phone number) or use the mobile app, all of which give different information! By the way.. the ”dormant account” did not show up on my mobile app that lists my accounts.. again how am I supposed to know! I couldn’t put money into the account as it was ”dormant”, but the bank would add charges and fees every time a ”live” direct debit was attempted to be taken from a ”dormant’ account… how does that even work!! but apparently…. it’s not the bank’s error! No one wants to help you, but they are quite happy to take your money…

I miss NBAD! That was a Bank! This new “FAB” is a pretentious CorpoRAT.
To resolve any issue you have to call and waste time talking to their AI answer machine (Wohoo! So technologically advanced). They lied to me about my mortgage options. When I told them I am transferring (refinancing) my mortgage through another bank, they offered me a solution.. to take a Personal loan to cover the mortgage! They think we are dumb!
Going to their branch does not resolve anything – they tell you “Contact our call centre”. WHAT IS THE POINT OF YOUR PHYSICAL BRANCH?!
They have “services” on their APP. When you request for some of them (Clearance Letter for example), it tells you “You cannot request for this on the APP”….Then what IS THE POINT OF YOUR APP! Shit bank! Shit service! I feel sorry for your call centre staff!

Worst bank that I’ve dealt with, they claimed that a card that I cancelled years ago, a card that doesn’t even show up in my online account or statements is somehow still linked to my account. How? Beats all logic that I know of. On top of that they hold my end of service benefits claiming that its security for the stupid card that I dont even own anymore. Frustrating to deal with such an unprofessional and stupid bank. I’m switching over to another bank the moment these people release my money. Since one week I m contacting with costumer care regarding my closing credit card but so many calls I got the amount which I have to pay for closing and I transferred the money same time next day again I called to costumer service and requested for cancelation he said it’s done you will receive your request number trough email .but I didn’t received any cancellations number and I called again that lady was so kind she heard my problem she said there’s no any requests she raised my complain again after that I received a call from fab she said investigated there is fault from agent bcs he didn’t raised your request but your new statement generated and you have to pay again interest money I told her that is not my mistake and why I have to pay again which I already paid that is your fault you have to pay that is my right .

I wont advise anyone to deal with FAB bank, I m running after them for the past three months to pay my CC pending amount and they are just making excuses to keep on adding extra charges on top of the installments. Once you verify the information they put you on hold for hours to give up and hang the phone. their collection department employees are not professionals in the way they are taking and keep on threatening via phone or emails. Does not keep security features for the banking. They give more preference for the Merchant than the customer. Even though if we enter wrong card details, they will deduct money from your account according to the merchant claim count. Dears, do not be happy if you get credit card from FAB. Better to use any other Banks credit card for your good. Almost last 6 months i am behind FAB for a charge of AED 7500 plus which amount was not authorized by me as i have received OTP from bank without any amount or payer name when i have ordered AED 20 for online purchase. Same time got message that AED 7,500 plus charged to my card. Within minutes informed bank that i have not approved this amount and after weeks they told to file dispute. After months bank said cannot reverse and i have to pay. Complaint and case filed in eveywhere possible but their reply is FAB is out of their Service. So FAB is a special bank that nobody can ask or complaint. If any charges you see in your card you have to pay. In addition to that they have charged additional AED 1,750 as Finance Charge during this dispute period and they said even that is not reversible as it is their Fees. We do not have any place to complaint and need to pay what all bank says. Once you are into FAB customer service you will come to know how it will make your life horrible. They send simply a 6 digit number as OTP without amount and payer name and the amount and payer is up to them how much will be charged to your card. Please use any other banks products as they will show humanity concern even if some scams happened in your card you can reach other banks through many ways. Here FAB will not consider your email and need to call 600525500 and hold for hours and the same continues for many days which will cost you 40 fils per minute for each long calls. If you take leave and visit their branch, the staff is same as seeing thousands of people with same complaint everyday and laugh at you.
