I had a very disappointing experience with Excellence Driving.

I purchased a 100 AED voucher and contacted their official number to open my file. They sent a sales representative named Ahmed. He collected 1,350 AED, stating that 1,020 AED was for genuine file opening and theory classes, and the remaining amount was a “service charge” for pick-up and drop.

I clearly informed him that I did not want the pick-up and drop service, and he agreed to refund that portion. However, after following up for over a week, he only refunded 300 AED. When I asked about the remaining 30 AED, he started speaking in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner.

This experience made me feel misled and scammed. I have registered a complaint, but this has been a very poor and stressful experience. I would advise others to be extremely cautious before making any payments.

Ready to get as much money as they can

It feels like they’re just trying to get as much money as possible. If you’re late for an internal test, they charge you, even if you gave prior notice. But of course, they’ll wait for you if you’re not Indian. If you’re Indian and use the hard brake, you pass. If you’re not and make a few mistakes, you fail—even though I have 10 years of experience and the other guy is just a beginner. Is this racism or misogyny? I’m not sure, but I know that neither is acceptable in Dubai, as far as I’m aware. Btw instructors are amazing

I am facing some challenges with the NOC collection process and customer service.
We were initially scheduled to collect my NOC on September 19, 2024, between 8 AM and 5 PM.
My husband arrived at the location between 8:15 AM and 8:40 AM but were informed that they would start serving at 9:30 AM.
After seeking clarification, the call center has now rescheduled my collection for October 2, 2024, also from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Unprofessional way appointment for NOC after clearing all my Documation. only to collect the NOC.
I was asked CallCenter to connect the operation manger still refuse to connect the call.

An easy trap for customer with low prices

I have been victim of Excellence driving & was very unreliable & pissed off by them & rude behaviour from them. They are wantedly failing the students for an internal assessment which is again conducted by their team itself to earn money, it is totally the SCAM as i have given 5 times the road assessment but the instructor failed me saying that i was not confident as i told him that its not the valid reason, if any mistake have been done by me, it was agreed & i would have accept it & make the correction but the instructor told me, its their wish, he will pass & fail whom he wants. Getting a driving license in UAE excellence had made a nightmare. So finally, i have dropped the idea of taking license because of them. A vey thankyou to Excellence team for this wonderful experience they have given to me.

Over the past four months as a student at your driving school, I’ve faced consistent challenges during internal assessments, having attempted them nine times without success. The explanations provided upon inquiry have been unsatisfactory, leading me to believe there may be an intentional effort to prolong my enrollment until my RTA file expires, especially considering my unlimited payment.

Additionally, I find it perplexing that the training I’ve received appears substandard, given my continuous failures in internal assessments. I am seeking a prompt response to my concerns and request a full refund of the fees paid, as I am considering transferring to a more professional and committed driving school.

Tests to Regular Students is a Nightmare but Lumpsum you must pass

My dear if you are thinking of taking classes at EDC think twice, that is number one, when you’re a lumpsum student they will do everything in their powers to pass, but if you’re a regular student they will make sure that you fail and fail and fail in-order to maximize their profit.
The RTA allows 12 mistakes but for their internal assessment they will give you a car that is difficult to control (which requires acquaintance with it over a time and again) and fail you with a single mistake in terms of their Initial Assessment Test.
The driving test is for 15mins but the instructor will make you fail in just 5mins, he doesn’t have the time you paid for.

So in my brief analysis, cheap things are expensive, take LUMPSUM and save yourself from stress or else, take regular and pay beyond 12,000 AED in the phrase of Test Failed try again.

I had 2 instructors verified my success but 1 fail me over a single mistake which is even rising from their fault car, I think they just use it to fail regular students and give LUMPSUM student normal cars.
How I wish I knew. They just take pride in sending such messages to regular students because they are making profit.

Very bad road class. I applied for golden chance. I got instructor Shihabudheen. He already told me before i entering the vehicle of my first class.. ‘U guys can’t winn the golden chance. He break my all confidence before entering my first class. And also he didn’t teach anything about the road test and all.. If i ask any doubt. He is insulting.

After the class i called to excellence for to reschedule my next paid classes to any good instructor. From their side there is no instructor available. Coming 29th is my road test. I don’t k ow what i do with this instructor.

Worst customer service experience

I had very disappointing experience with Excellence Driving. The constant struggle to secure timely classes due to slot and instructor shortages has been frustrating. Despite being aware of their limitations, they continue to enroll new students, leading to a compromised learning environment.

After completing my training over a month ago, the wait for the RTA parking exam has been prolonged. The inconsistency in information provided during follow-up calls adds to the frustration. Initially, they claimed my theory test, taken eight months ago, wasn’t updated in their system. Subsequently, after a week, they stated it was updated internally but not reflected in the RTA system.

Worse still, the support staff’s dismissive attitude is disheartening. They insist it’s not their responsibility to remind the RTA, leaving me to handle the follow-ups independently. This lack of accountability and professionalism has significantly marred my experience with Excellence Driving School.

Furthermore, the lack of a clear follow-up procedure adds to the frustration. It appears that the primary focus of Excellence Driving School is enrolling new students and filling their pockets with fees, without establishing an effective system for ongoing communication and support. This disregard for addressing issues and ensuring a smooth process beyond enrollment only deepens the dissatisfaction with their services.

No provision to give a negative star here. Please be careful before you go decide to go ahead with this school. They will charge 110 AED for a voucher to give a discount on the course and then the advertisers will vanish without any response or support. They have the audacity to come to my office space and sell these so called vouchers under the pretense of offering pickup from your location (JLT in my case) and then just not respond to anything. After I paid, they said we don’t have the pickup facility for your location. The salesperson in my case was Ms. Taiba who does not have the courtesy to respond after several follow ups. Stay away and go with a reputable school like Galadari or EDI

They give you an offer that you will pay double as much as they make you fail in their INTERNAL tests. They are liars they lie in front of your face that your touching the lines when you are not.
And every time you retake with their instructors so it’s whether it’s the instructors who don’t teach you right or the examiners who just make it on purpose; and mainly it’s a combination of both.
I used to go with my fiancé and he used to see their lies.
Beside the discrimination and the fully disrespectful attitude in his way the examiners talk to me because i’m a women maybe.
After 2.5 months in that excellence school I transferred to another super respectful old known school in the country; retook lessons and did the internal yard exam with the RTA yard and road in 2 weeks, because they are decent respectful and fair.

I have been attending this school since last year I only took a break since I was pregnant I came back after giving birth but the experience I have received during my parking is horrible I have never imagined that if you sacrifice this much money you will be treated like a dog infact I have been treated 10times much better in a cafeteria where I have spent only 2aed. just imagine on your busy schedule you book for classes and only to come and the instructor asks if you speak Arabic and she tells you if you do not speak Arabic she will not teach you all the effort and time wasted proudly imran tells you how he can not help you. You let that situation pass with out be apologized to again you come for class. 4 times I have failed garage parking the next time you come to take for the same parking expecting to go for same assessment and the examiner tells you your parking is Angle not garage they treat you stupid trying to prove they have all the right. In this kind of situation I would find the root cause of the situation find out why is the customer insisting on this class to be honest I wouldn’t insist on a garage angle is much easier but the point here is the way I was treated and my time was wasted as well.

Last week I have taken a practice class for my parking and waiting for the RTC test for my parking to be scheduled I was waiting that from any of the team member will cal or msg me to update that my RTA class has been scheduled but there were no cumunication from the school that saying ur RTA test has been scheduled on this particular day , as per ur team member RTA will cal and send us message for my classes but there were no cal from RTA but I have received that message of RTA test has been scheduled.
How a person can check his msgs everytime that he will receive the msg from RTA there have to be cal from the school that we have RTA test on perticular day .
It’s very very very bad experience for me guys I suggest u to not to join this school instead u look for better options
And more thing they will tell you to cal customer service for more quiries but the thing is they will never receive ur cal ..🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ than u have customer service when u don’t have time to pic customer calls

I am new student at excellence driving – diyafa branch . When I cancelled my road assemment 2 days prior to test , they still charged me and asking ulon explanation they said it should be done from centre . Also no one informed me that it has to be exactly 48 hours before while booking the road assessment test. When I requested to talk to supervisor regarding same . They want to come all the way to their qusais branch which is near shj just to put a request. Customer service is too bad . You can’t reach them easily. Never seen such pathetic service. Pls provide complete and clear information to new joiner and what’s the use of excellence app if you can’t cancel or reschedule.

Even though I failed the internal assessment many times, I am happy that I past the RTA final road test at the first attempt. This is thanks to Erick and Muhammad Salman. They were very friendly and made me feel at ease during my classes. They gave me the tips to be a good driver. So, thank you dear. Disgusting school, I’ve got really bad experience with them!

They deceive people, they mistreat and are quite rude, here is my story, I enrolled in this school, the manager came to my house, promised mountains of gold that they would pick up from the nearest metro for you, in the process of preparation I did not receive any help, I enrolled for a theoretical exam, I came there myself, this school is very far away, almost in the Sharzha region, passed the exam, tried to sign up at the box office, for my first class, where I already encountered a careless attitude, in general, I was able to sign up for classes only through the hotline, I they said my first two classes should be at the brunch which is located almost near Sharjah, I was promised transportation, I agreed as my third class will be at another location available, but when I called the driver and said that my class was at 4 pm , he said that he could pick me up at 2:30, to which I said I do not have this time, since I have work, I called the hotline and tried to cancel all my credits ssy and asked for a refund for all classes, since I already paid for them, to which I heard we cannot refund you for the first class, since the cancellation is later than 48 hours, I said this is not my problem, since you are deceiving people, you promise one thing , but the result is completely different! Waiting for a call from the manager, but I can say one thing, I regretted that I contacted this school, did not believe the reviews and now I myself am in such a situation, guys, my advice to you, do not study at this school! The only good impression of this school was when I came to the mock test, the guys there were very friendly and helped me to get ready!

Worst Driving School in Dubai / Scam

Worst Driving school in Dubai, they will continue failing you in internal assesment test specialy if you get regular package to get a lot of money from you. In the Internal assesment test I am confident that I pass I did everything right the examiner are no comments while I’m driving. And one of the student will take the exam with me he did a lot of mistake and as far as I know is all major mistake. Cars even horning with that student and upon explaining this is a mahor mistake but after the test this examiner from the school explain all the mistake did by my co student and he tel me some of my my 2 mistake that I’m surprise because I know that I did nodo that and again he asked my co student if what his mistake and the student answer back “no” and the examiner pass hin and he failed me from the test. This should be invistigated this is not fair. This is waste of time and money. Really disappointed to this school very unproffesional.

My Name is Royal Ronson Dsouza.On 12th June I had my parking assessment. Mr Raheel Shazad Muhammad shabier took my assessment with two others in the car. If EDC keeps recording of the test I advise you to investigate and see on what grounds did he pass the other two and failed me as I was last one to give the test. If the minor mistakes I did was not acceptable then I think other two did not even have confidence to drive. I believe they don’t like anyone questing them as he felt offended while I did.
I also ask to check my training reviews from my trainers and see which should suffice to justify my claim. If they are authorized to pass whoever they wish and fail otherwise then there seems no ethics in your business.

Kindly respect others hard earned money as this way you will not reach anywhere.

It was my biggest mistake to choose EDC.

Poor examiner

Dissatisfied with the result of my assessment, as the examiner not telling you in advance where you have to go if you are running with speed and he will suddenly tell you turn right going back to school near to the are of the right turn how u will reduce your speed in the middle of the highway so u can safely turn right. Even u did the head check still he will put in comment, worst thing he said going out to their parking I didn’t stop but I gave way to one of their van so how come I didn’t stop. No major mistakes, but he consider a major mistakes of going out of their parking area.

Helpful instructor

I was somehow afraid in the driving lessons but my instructor was really friendly and helpful. He helped me as he calmed me down and answered all my questions without getting bored. All I didn’t like at this institute is that their prices are a little bit expensive.
