First of all: we had just moved to Dubai. My husband went to get telephone numbers, because you can’t do anything without a local number. There they said that it is mandatory to also take a landline. Even if you don’t use it! You pay money every month without using it. This is the first thing I find very weird. Why do you make people get and pay for something they won’t use? I live here for almost 2 years now and neither I or someone else in our household have used this line! Ridiculous. Second: my husband wanted a camera system. They made him sign a contract for three years instead of one. He specifically said I don’t want something that is for a long time! And they sold him the “best” camera’s they said. How can a camera that you have to take the battery out every two weeks and recharge it for a whole day, be the “best”camera you have? Now imagine you have 8 to 10 of these camera’s that you have to take off of its spot, recharge a whole day, and place it back. This every two weeks.. I think my husband spend 100 hours on the phone with them. They promised to look at our case, try to find a solution, they would talk to their managers and get back to us. They only called us to remind us that we have to pay or after my husband explained the situation, again false promises. In the meen while the messages keep on coming in that you have to pay for the whole three years and all the camera’s that you have received or else you will be registered somewhere and it would be very hard for you to buy a house bla bla bla. We wanted to give them the camera’s back because to be honest we only used them for one month. It just wasn’t a practical system. I know that you can think that it is our own fault that my husband signed that contract. And maybe it is but don’t forget that in such a moment you think you are talking with a professional and that they are there to help you and not to drain you for the money you have. It is for us not about the money. It’s about they way you are being treated and the promises that are made and not been kept.
For the last two days, it has been a nightmare to call Etisalat customer service via 101… you need to suffer the unskippable voice ads about DNCR and then there is the useless, irritable voice assistant EVA. And after multiple calls and each call with a long wait time, you manage to finally talk to a human (feels like a blessing), they respond with “Sorry sir, i dont have access to this information OR try restarting the device !!!”. And finally, when doing this process multiple times, i requested for a service visit and was assigned a request number and technican scheduled time and date. And next day, when i followup on this technician visit status, i was once again promised by a call center person that the said technician will call and visit as scheduled. But Lo, behold, noone turned up or even bothered to call!. And then going through the same nightmarish process of calls to 101 and bypasssing EVA, the customer service agent says the technician is now scheduled for next day!!! This has been the worst customer service experience i have ever had from any company so far! They have absolute zero consideration for their customers. The lack of empathy is so obvious in the way ETISALAT handles their customers and their complaints. And the only alternative to ETISALAT is DU and i have heard similar stories from some of my friends and contacts who have DU. So customers in UAE are stuck between the devil and the demon.
I received exemplary service from one of your employees! I bought a tourist sim from your shop in Al Wahda mall yesterday. On my way back to my hotel, I lost my phone. I went to the shop to try to get the phone number for the sim. Your emploiyee, Rosalie Domingo, came to my aid. She found the number and called the phone. When it was answered, she asked the person who had it to please bring the phone to the shop. She guided me as to how to get the phone and how much to pay the fellow. In the event, she even navigated me to the taxi rank and went with me to meet the gentleman who had the phone. Wonderful customer service and clearly above and beyond! Thanks to Rosalie, I have my phone back! Thank you again, Rosalie and Etisalat!

I’m Using E life 12Mbps plan for 2 weeks. My experience is they are actually misleading customers. In the ad they are saying it’s 12Mbps plan unlimited,land line to land line call is free. But actually I’m getting 8-9 Mbps download speed and uploading speed only 3Mbps. I contacted customer care executive,Then they told me the downloading speed only 12Mbps, uploading speed will be 3Mbps. But what I’m thinking is Etisalat cheating customers. They suppose to display about the all speed information and limits in the front. I mean front in the add. It’s disappointing from a most leading company.

I am New Freedom Plan 325 and never fully utilised the allowances. I got a call to upgrade to New Freedom Plan 600 with multiple simcards. I brought my wife from Du to Etisalat and my son. Etisalat opens 2 accounts instead of 1 with multiple simcards meaning now from paying Aed325 I have to pay Aed1200 a month for allowances I hardly ever finish. They tell me I need to pay exit charges. They say they listened to the call and the agent gave correct information but they don’t acknowledge that the agent never told me that under multiple simcards only the primary simcard can make calls despite me asking and confirming this so many times on the phone.

If I could give Etisalat no stars, I would. You are cheated, plain and simple, when you choose Etisalat. They tell you they are taking off channels only a day or two before it happens, at the start of the month so you have NO TIME to find new representation. And then, the worst part, they say you can cancel anytime with no fee, but they charge you for the WHOLE MONTH you are cancelling in! I have never heard, in all my years, of a company being so disrespectful to its customers. And to think this company is supposed to represent the quality of UAE service. It is appalling. The UAE is a wonderful place to live with generally good customer service, but Etisalat is NOT doing it proud. They do not care about customers, service, or any one of us.

I wouldn’t rate etisalat customer care poor because its even below! I transferred from du to etisalat and I cleared my bill with du as per etisalat instructions in order to get the service, however after a month approximately I found out that du billed me with fine due to changing network before finishing my contract with them, which I was going to pay anyway as its a small amount, and all of a sudden etisalat deactivated my service without prior notice or information for the reason of cutting the service, and I found out myself in the middle of the road not able to make calls and no Internet and worst that I’m not even able to call the customer service, I was totally disconnected even from customer service! How on earth??? Words are not enough to describe how careless and unaccountable company etisalat is. And finally i reached one of etisalat partitions in two different malls and non of was able to help and simply asked me to ho to any branch (unless service). And then I reached customer service over the app and thats only when I got to know that its because of du bill not settled. Then agent wasn’t able to so I asked for Manager who called me after one hour and said that he can only send an email to the management who will get back to me next day, however no one got back to me until 5pm till I reached them again where I found them aware and there is a decision taken but they still never contacted me until I reached them to check on the process. So anyway I paid my du bill to end this hassle and i called them back to get my service back, and the answer i got that they will send an email to du to confirm that payment done and once they receive the reply they put me back online, which is another day without service. Thats a shame to have such a poor service and customer service team with zero empowerment to take an immediate action especially that access to calls and Internet is really critical, its not just a leisure for most of people????? Obviously they just know that customers needs this service so they don’t really care about any level of satisfaction.

Overwhelmed with Frustration and Disappointment
I am overwhelmed with frustration, anger and disappointment on how Etisalat customer service handles their consumers concerns. I have been calling them since May 6, 2023 to request a schedule for internet connection installation in my new house as I recently transferred accommodation. I was scheduled by the representative on 7th of May, I was happy about it thinking that I will only lose connection for a day. I waited on 7th of May til afternoon before calling them to follow up on its status. I was advised that I have to wait 7 days before they could schedule me for installation. However my expectation has been set according to their promise, the agent assisted me and promised that my request has been prioritized and that technician will come over to proceed with the installation on the same day. Unfortunately, I did not hear from them on that day. The next morning on 8th of May, I called the call center to follow up and I was given a link to choose a schedule of installation (Why they didn’t give it in the first place?). So I entered a response through the link provided and chose May 9 from 8:00am-12:00nn. We were 3 families who transferred in the same building and did the same procedure together to request for installation. My friend got the connection on the 9th, while my other friend was the first one to request, the one who taught us how to do it but also didn’t get the connection up until now. She was expecting to have the connection on May 8 but she was advised that the location she pinned was located in AUH while she’s in Dubai when she pinned it. With that experience my friend told me, I made sure to call the call center to make sure that my location was correct. Sadly the location is also in AUH, not only the link was very misleading it also didn’t ask me for a street name and room number. Good thing I called, I gave the correct address and the agent assured me it has been changed and updated. On May 9 at 8:10am, I received a call from the technician asking for the building name and room number, do you know where the technician was? He was in AUH. Wow! I was advised to call the call center again to transfer the request to Dubai. I called them 6 times everyday to make sure everything was correct and to follow up but nothing happened. The agent I spoke with today said that my location wasn’t changed to Dubai. Really? Today, 10th of May I was again told that my concern has been escalated and will receive a call from the technician within 48 hours to reschedule my appointment. So how many days of waiting are we talking about again? I hope that Etisalat will investigate on this matter, teach and train your staff on how to handle customer concerns carefully with integrity and respect. We are not just wanting connection for recreation, most of us use it for a living. Etisalat is soooo fast when you are a new customer, but after being a loyal one they doesn’t care at all!!!! Will just transfer to DU I guess.

Never ever Etisalat again! I cancelled my e-plan and paid the balance of 817 aed, because I was still within the contract. But I never got a confirmation of my cancellation of the e-plan wifi. There was also a case number: which a lady gave me, Etisalat promised to call me back! They never did! Days are going by and I am calling Etisalat every day for 2 weeks about my case! No one can give me a straight reply! A guy from Etisalat customer service even hung up on me on the phone! So disrespectful!!!
They claimed they tried to call me several times, but I just received several sms from Etisalat that they tried to reach me on the phone but that they now had closed the case. The case was not even resolved! And I didn’t knew why I couldn’t receive the calls!
The days go by and I am still keep calling and calling day and night! – and was also in touch with the cancellation center 4 times and Etisalat customer service 100 times! I was so drained and fed up!
It all started because I moved my address and needed someone from Etisalat’s side to come and help me setting up the wifi! No one could help me! After 4 years with Etisalat I am truely dissapointed! So bad! Now I am with DU and it’s much better and easier!
The only things I needed from Etisalat was help to setting up my wifi at my new place! As they couldn’t help me with that! I wanted to cancel the E-plan. And then the 2 weeks nightmare started.
All so much waste of energy and time! But if you want to sign a contract it’s all so easy! But if you want to cancel you will be left behind!
I finally got a confirmation about the cancellation! And I will never ever recommend Etisalat to anyone!!! Such a horrible experience!!!!
2 years ago, we got this etisalat plan Elife 250Mbps, for which we were asked to pay 409 dhs per month and then i have no idea for what they are adding extra amount in our bill, making us to pay 445 dhs per month and now after completing the commitment of 2 years i got 465 dhs bill. its a scam company which has completely useless wifi, does not support into the other rooms in the apartment, just works in the hall, and landline was given as compulsory but was said to be used as free. Honestly, i am completely disappointed with the service. Today itself i contacted customer care for disconnection.

I made a mistake of subscribing to their services. Worst customer care especially the one in mall of the emirates dubai. Everyone is shockingly rude and no one cares about you. They have at least dozen staff but you talk to any of them and they will send you to someone else and that person will send you to someone else.
Etisalat is the worst experience I’ve ever had – fake promises, no customer support and not even a single try to compensate me for all the issues I had with them. They kept giving me false appointments where no one would show up for installation, then they provided interrupted internet service with speed 10 times less then what is in the contract, then again numerous fake appointments for someone to come and fix it. In addition, I spent hours on the phone with different representatives who kept saying the same 3 sentences and doing nothing in reality. Never seen anything like this – would never recommend to anyone.
Cheating the people with fake offers. I purchased my 5G home WiFi plan one week ago. Etisalat delivery staff delivered Oppo 5G router and sim card on 22/03/2023 and asked me to follow the instructions given in the device user manual to connect my mobile to WiFi router. I followed the instructions exactly as mentioned in the user manual, however after several attempts I couldn’t connect my mobile to the WiFi router. They gave default user name and password on the router. And they asked me to visit oppowifi.com to change user name and password. Thus website is not reachable. The default password is 5 letter password. To connect to the WiFi it requires 8 digit password which I don’t have as I couldn’t visit oppowifi.com and change the password. I have called customer care several times to resolve the issue. Even to reach a customer care representative is not so easy as our calls are attended by virtual advisor which disconnects our calls without transferring it to a human advisor. Even though if we are able to connect to a customer care representative, they are not helpful at all. They connect to a technical advisors who do not have any technical know how. Their common dialogue is “will call you back”. Then normally they don’t call back. Then I have to call the customer care again and have to repeat the same story to them. I have been doing this activity since last 6 days. May be I have been connected with 4 or 5 technical advisors. Nobody could solve the problem. Then I asked them to cancel this plan and offer me some other plan which actually works. They take my request and tell me that somebody from cancellation team will call me back. Again cancellation team staff who called me informed that I have pay a current month bill that is 290 and a cancellation fee of one month bill, that is 390 dirhams and device rent for 24 months, that is 56*24=1344. So I have to pay total of around 2000 dirhams to cancel the plan. I have to pay for cancelling a plan which doesn’t work. They are nit able solve the problem and asking me to pay cancellation fee and rent for tge device which is not working. When I request for waive off the cancellation fee and device rent, they say that they will discuss with the management and will call me back. But never called me back. I have to call the customer care again to follow up. When I call them again, I have to repeat all these stories again and they say that my previous request has already been cancelled. They cancel my request without resolving it. When I call them again they raise a new request and say that someone from cancellation team will call me. This activity also gave been repeated many times. Today when I called tge customer care again they said they have raised a request and someone will contact me in 3 working days. So, this activity will go on. It is not going to end….

It has been a long time since our company has used the services of your company. Being one of your largest customers, we expect a corresponding response. By April 2022, our company requested that the TV add-ons option be removed from our account. Until today, the feature has been cancelled. Since September 2022, I have been responsible for all Etisalat related matters, and so far we have not encountered any problems – with the exception of one. It appears as if they have no desire to perform their duties and leave their responsibilities to their colleagues, or even to us as a whole. In regard to the problem we encountered yesterday, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that, despite the fact that we refused these services, Etisalat connected these services without our knowledge, while conducting additional checks. In order to resolve this misunderstanding, I contacted one of your colleagues, Mr. Pulkit Chadha, who has promised to assist us. Due to the fact that today is the last day for paying our bills, we mailed correspondence and expressed our intention to resolve this issue as soon as possible. As a result of the mistake made by your employees, I will not be able to pay the additional 35,000 dirhams. Please take note of the attitude of Mr. Pulkit Chadha who has refused to accept responsibility for the mistake made by his team. Please consider my appeal and assist us in resolving this matter. Considering the limited time period, I will have to submit documents to the court if we do not receive an answer by today.

This is what happens in a market where there is virtually no competition: Bad, or better, inexistent customer service and nobody seems to care. I asked a question which is mission critical for my business and more than one month later I am still waiting for an answer. There is no response to my emails and there is no phone number to call which is ridiculous considered that we are talking about a telecom company here.
I made a complaint on 06th oct 2022 and till today i.e 18th oct 22 there is no solution. Firstly they changed my plan without my consent which is there fault and now i am facing issues as my incoming and outgoing is blocked and for all this only i am suffering what kind of service is this i am not able to understand as they are closing my complaints without a solution and i have to call everyday to explain and start a new complaint. utter disappointment.

Got the connection on August 12th and disconnected on Aug 28th. Virtual call center says “there is an overdue payment due on 15th and not pad” . Not sure how a connection given on Aug 12th can have a over due on Aug 15th, with a issuing a bill, app says “0 due” and disconnection happened without a notice. App says there is installation charge of AED 199, but can’t pay due to tech error in the app. No option left, paid AED 200 as advance, without any invoice reference

Before signing the contract for any Etisalat services think twice. Signed up for home wi-fi special offer for AED 199 per month (instead 299), after 10 days of usage decided to cancel. Cancelation charge is 299 standard monthly fee + 299 cancelation fee + cost of router 350 AED. 950 AED to exit this beautiful deal after 10 days of usage.

I got a call before Eid that our internet was not stable and they would send a technician free of charge to fix the issue. They would have the technician call back to schedule the visit.
After a couple of weeks we called and advised that we had such a call and we should not be charged. After nearly 2 hours of hold checking God knows what they agreed to send Technician who was not able to resolve the issue that it was lagging.
We were billed and on inquiring fried our brain for nearly 2 hours again to know that they will not budge and apparently after so many level of unrequired verification (I mean for what? Is some one going to pose as me and pay my bill and you are trying to avoid that happening? You are not a bank I am not storing my valuables with you. One point verification of ID is enough).
They are not able to find out that a call was placed to us from their side confirming that nothing would be charged. Not only that no records of conversation before sending Technician that we donot want to pay since you have called and want to send the guy. I wondered what was she checking with so many holds if she doesnt have any records?
So basically please be careful donot agree because once you are billed they are not going to do anything whether you agree or not? And ofcourse whether issue is solved or not. Still lags due to range issues. And will keep continuing to do so no matter how much you pay for upgrade. So please careful

I ordered the D-Link Sim card router and it’s kept saying connected without internet . I called Etisalat severally and the problem wasn’t fixed . I went to their Office at the mall of Emirates. The staff were horrible and just dismissed my complaint saying there is nothing they could do . I was told some one will call me from 101 to talk about free cancellation. Some called and I picked up immediately and they cut the call on their end and never called back . They keep sending me messages to make payment for the internet I haven’t been able to use. I have only one regret so far it is picking Etisalat network.
Holding an existing Elife , I raised a request to shift my account to my new home , I have the new address and booked an appointment . Their technical came to install the fiber optic cables . Once the engineer showed up to connect the line , after 3 hours his supervisor command him to not do so . No one is giving a clear answer nor fixing the issue , after useless calls to their call center , and visiting their branch center were they hired useless incompetent staffs . After explaining my problem for the 100 ‘ time , their manager without even asking for my account number or checking my complain update , simply informed me that Etisalat cannot do any thing , and I should go to my building knocking on doors and asking if they have an Etisalat account . Calling their call center again , I m informed this time that my area is not connected to Etisalat . I live in downtown Dubai !!! All the buildings are connected !! Again promised to be contacted by their IT department , as it seems they are the one blocking the connection , after one week , no one bothered . It is simply the most hideous company to deal with .

First of all: we had just moved to Dubai. My husband went to get telephone numbers, because you can’t do anything without a local number. There they said that it is mandatory to also take a landline. Even if you don’t use it! You pay money every month without using it. This is the first thing I find very weird. Why do you make people get and pay for something they won’t use? I live here for almost 2 years now and neither I or someone else in our household have used this line! Ridiculous. Second: my husband wanted a camera system. They made him sign a contract for three years instead of one. He specifically said I don’t want something that is for a long time! And they sold him the “best” camera’s they said. How can a camera that you have to take the battery out every two weeks and recharge it for a whole day, be the “best”camera you have? Now imagine you have 8 to 10 of these camera’s that you have to take off of its spot, recharge a whole day, and place it back. This every two weeks.. I think my husband spend 100 hours on the phone with them. They promised to look at our case, try to find a solution, they would talk to their managers and get back to us. They only called us to remind us that we have to pay or after my husband explained the situation, again false promises. In the meen while the messages keep on coming in that you have to pay for the whole three years and all the camera’s that you have received or else you will be registered somewhere and it would be very hard for you to buy a house bla bla bla. We wanted to give them the camera’s back because to be honest we only used them for one month. It just wasn’t a practical system. I know that you can think that it is our own fault that my husband signed that contract. And maybe it is but don’t forget that in such a moment you think you are talking with a professional and that they are there to help you and not to drain you for the money you have. It is for us not about the money. It’s about they way you are being treated and the promises that are made and not been kept.
For the last two days, it has been a nightmare to call Etisalat customer service via 101… you need to suffer the unskippable voice ads about DNCR and then there is the useless, irritable voice assistant EVA. And after multiple calls and each call with a long wait time, you manage to finally talk to a human (feels like a blessing), they respond with “Sorry sir, i dont have access to this information OR try restarting the device !!!”. And finally, when doing this process multiple times, i requested for a service visit and was assigned a request number and technican scheduled time and date. And next day, when i followup on this technician visit status, i was once again promised by a call center person that the said technician will call and visit as scheduled. But Lo, behold, noone turned up or even bothered to call!. And then going through the same nightmarish process of calls to 101 and bypasssing EVA, the customer service agent says the technician is now scheduled for next day!!! This has been the worst customer service experience i have ever had from any company so far! They have absolute zero consideration for their customers. The lack of empathy is so obvious in the way ETISALAT handles their customers and their complaints. And the only alternative to ETISALAT is DU and i have heard similar stories from some of my friends and contacts who have DU. So customers in UAE are stuck between the devil and the demon.
I received exemplary service from one of your employees! I bought a tourist sim from your shop in Al Wahda mall yesterday. On my way back to my hotel, I lost my phone. I went to the shop to try to get the phone number for the sim. Your emploiyee, Rosalie Domingo, came to my aid. She found the number and called the phone. When it was answered, she asked the person who had it to please bring the phone to the shop. She guided me as to how to get the phone and how much to pay the fellow. In the event, she even navigated me to the taxi rank and went with me to meet the gentleman who had the phone. Wonderful customer service and clearly above and beyond! I’m Using E life 12Mbps plan for 2 weeks. My experience is they are actually misleading customers. In the ad they are saying it’s 12Mbps plan unlimited,land line to land line call is free. But actually I’m getting 8-9 Mbps download speed and uploading speed only 3Mbps. I am New Freedom Plan 325 and never fully utilised the allowances. I got a call to upgrade to New Freedom Plan 600 with multiple simcards. I brought my wife from Du to Etisalat and my son. Etisalat opens 2 accounts instead of 1 with multiple simcards meaning now from paying Aed325 I have to pay Aed1200 a month for allowances I hardly ever finish. They tell me I need to pay exit charges. They say they listened to the call and the agent gave correct information but they don’t acknowledge that the agent never told me that under multiple simcards only the primary simcard can make calls despite me asking and confirming this so many times on the phone.

I wouldn’t rate etisalat customer care poor because its even below! I transferred from du to etisalat and I cleared my bill with du as per etisalat instructions in order to get the service, however after a month approximately I found out that du billed me with fine due to changing network before finishing my contract with them, which I was going to pay anyway as its a small amount, and all of a sudden etisalat deactivated my service without prior notice or information for the reason of cutting the service, and I found out myself in the middle of the road not able to make calls and no Internet and worst that I’m not even able to call the customer service, I was totally disconnected even from customer service! How on earth??? Words are not enough to describe how careless and unaccountable company etisalat is. And finally i reached one of etisalat partitions in two different malls and non of was able to help and simply asked me to ho to any branch (unless service). And then I reached customer service over the app and thats only when I got to know that its because of du bill not settled. Then agent wasn’t able to so I asked for Manager who called me after one hour and said that he can only send an email to the management who will get back to me next day, however no one got back to me until 5pm till I reached them again where I found them aware and there is a decision taken but they still never contacted me until I reached them to check on the process. So anyway I paid my du bill to end this hassle and i called them back to get my service back, and the answer i got that they will send an email to du to confirm that payment done and once they receive the reply they put me back online, which is another day without service. Thats a shame to have such a poor service and customer service team with zero empowerment to take an immediate action especially that access to calls and Internet is really critical, its not just a leisure for most of people????? Obviously they just know that customers needs this service so they don’t really care about any level of satisfaction.

Overwhelmed with Frustration and Disappointment
I am overwhelmed with frustration, anger and disappointment on how Etisalat customer service handles their consumers concerns. I have been calling them since May 6, 2023 to request a schedule for internet connection installation in my new house as I recently transferred accommodation. I was scheduled by the representative on 7th of May, I was happy about it thinking that I will only lose connection for a day. I waited on 7th of May til afternoon before calling them to follow up on its status. I was advised that I have to wait 7 days before they could schedule me for installation. However my expectation has been set according to their promise, the agent assisted me and promised that my request has been prioritized and that technician will come over to proceed with the installation on the same day. Unfortunately, I did not hear from them on that day. The next morning on 8th of May, I called the call center to follow up and I was given a link to choose a schedule of installation (Why they didn’t give it in the first place?). So I entered a response through the link provided and chose May 9 from 8:00am-12:00nn. We were 3 families who transferred in the same building and did the same procedure together to request for installation. My friend got the connection on the 9th, while my other friend was the first one to request, the one who taught us how to do it but also didn’t get the connection up until now. She was expecting to have the connection on May 8 but she was advised that the location she pinned was located in AUH while she’s in Dubai when she pinned it. With that experience my friend told me, I made sure to call the call center to make sure that my location was correct. Sadly the location is also in AUH, not only the link was very misleading it also didn’t ask me for a street name and room number. Good thing I called, I gave the correct address and the agent assured me it has been changed and updated. On May 9 at 8:10am, I received a call from the technician asking for the building name and room number, do you know where the technician was? He was in AUH. Wow! I was advised to call the call center again to transfer the request to Dubai. I called them 6 times everyday to make sure everything was correct and to follow up but nothing happened. The agent I spoke with today said that my location wasn’t changed to Dubai. Really? Today, 10th of May I was again told that my concern has been escalated and will receive a call from the technician within 48 hours to reschedule my appointment. So how many days of waiting are we talking about again? I hope that Etisalat will investigate on this matter, teach and train your staff on how to handle customer concerns carefully with integrity and respect. We are not just wanting connection for recreation, most of us use it for a living. Etisalat is soooo fast when you are a new customer, but after being a loyal one they doesn’t care at all!!!! Will just transfer to DU I guess.

Never ever Etisalat again! I cancelled my e-plan and paid the balance of 817 aed, because I was still within the contract. But I never got a confirmation of my cancellation of the e-plan wifi. There was also a case number: which a lady gave me, Etisalat promised to call me back! They never did! Days are going by and I am calling Etisalat every day for 2 weeks about my case! No one can give me a straight reply! A guy from Etisalat customer service even hung up on me on the phone! So disrespectful!!!
They claimed they tried to call me several times, but I just received several sms from Etisalat that they tried to reach me on the phone but that they now had closed the case. The case was not even resolved! And I didn’t knew why I couldn’t receive the calls!
The days go by and I am still keep calling and calling day and night! – and was also in touch with the cancellation center 4 times and Etisalat customer service 100 times! I was so drained and fed up!
It all started because I moved my address and needed someone from Etisalat’s side to come and help me setting up the wifi! No one could help me! After 4 years with Etisalat I am truely dissapointed! So bad! Now I am with DU and it’s much better and easier!
The only things I needed from Etisalat was help to setting up my wifi at my new place! As they couldn’t help me with that! I wanted to cancel the E-plan. And then the 2 weeks nightmare started.
All so much waste of energy and time! But if you want to sign a contract it’s all so easy! But if you want to cancel you will be left behind!
I finally got a confirmation about the cancellation! And I will never ever recommend Etisalat to anyone!!! Such a horrible experience!!!!
2 years ago, we got this etisalat plan Elife 250Mbps, for which we were asked to pay 409 dhs per month and then i have no idea for what they are adding extra amount in our bill, making us to pay 445 dhs per month and now after completing the commitment of 2 years i got 465 dhs bill. its a scam company which has completely useless wifi, does not support into the other rooms in the apartment, just works in the hall, and landline was given as compulsory but was said to be used as free. I made a mistake of subscribing to their services. Worst customer care especially the one in mall of the emirates dubai. Everyone is shockingly rude and no one cares about you. They have at least dozen staff but you talk to any of them and they will send you to someone else and that person will send you to someone else.
Etisalat is the worst experience I’ve ever had – fake promises, no customer support and not even a single try to compensate me for all the issues I had with them. They kept giving me false appointments where no one would show up for installation, then they provided interrupted internet service with speed 10 times less then what is in the contract, then again numerous fake appointments for someone to come and fix it. In addition, I spent hours on the phone with different representatives who kept saying the same 3 sentences and doing nothing in reality. Never seen anything like this – would never recommend to anyone.
Cheating the people with fake offers. I purchased my 5G home WiFi plan one week ago. Etisalat delivery staff delivered Oppo 5G router and sim card on 22/03/2023 and asked me to follow the instructions given in the device user manual to connect my mobile to WiFi router. I followed the instructions exactly as mentioned in the user manual, however after several attempts I couldn’t connect my mobile to the WiFi router. They gave default user name and password on the router. And they asked me to visit oppowifi.com to change user name and password. Thus website is not reachable. The default password is 5 letter password. To connect to the WiFi it requires 8 digit password which I don’t have as I couldn’t visit oppowifi.com and change the password. I have called customer care several times to resolve the issue. Even to reach a customer care representative is not so easy as our calls are attended by virtual advisor which disconnects our calls without transferring it to a human advisor. Even though if we are able to connect to a customer care representative, they are not helpful at all. They connect to a technical advisors who do not have any technical know how. Their common dialogue is “will call you back”. Then normally they don’t call back. Then I have to call the customer care again and have to repeat the same story to them. I have been doing this activity since last 6 days. May be I have been connected with 4 or 5 technical advisors. Nobody could solve the problem. Then I asked them to cancel this plan and offer me some other plan which actually works. They take my request and tell me that somebody from cancellation team will call me back. Again cancellation team staff who called me informed that I have pay a current month bill that is 290 and a cancellation fee of one month bill, that is 390 dirhams and device rent for 24 months, that is 56*24=1344. So I have to pay total of around 2000 dirhams to cancel the plan. I have to pay for cancelling a plan which doesn’t work. They are nit able solve the problem and asking me to pay cancellation fee and rent for tge device which is not working. When I request for waive off the cancellation fee and device rent, they say that they will discuss with the management and will call me back. But never called me back. I have to call the customer care again to follow up. When I call them again, I have to repeat all these stories again and they say that my previous request has already been cancelled. They cancel my request without resolving it. When I call them again they raise a new request and say that someone from cancellation team will call me. This activity also gave been repeated many times. Today when I called tge customer care again they said they have raised a request and someone will contact me in 3 working days. So, this activity will go on. It is not going to end….

By April 2022, our company requested that the TV add-ons option be removed from our account. Until today, the feature has been cancelled. Due to the fact that today is the last day for paying our bills, we mailed correspondence and expressed our intention to resolve this issue as soon as possible. As a result of the mistake made by your employees, I will not be able to pay the additional 35,000 dirhams. Please take note of the attitude of Mr. Pulkit Chadha who has refused to accept responsibility for the mistake made by his team. Please consider my appeal and assist us in resolving this matter. This is what happens in a market where there is virtually no competition: Bad, or better, inexistent customer service and nobody seems to care. I got a call before Eid that our internet was not stable and they would send a technician free of charge to fix the issue. They would have the technician call back to schedule the visit.
After a couple of weeks we called and advised that we had such a call and we should not be charged. After nearly 2 hours of hold checking God knows what they agreed to send Technician who was not able to resolve the issue that it was lagging.
We were billed and on inquiring fried our brain for nearly 2 hours again to know that they will not budge and apparently after so many level of unrequired verification (I mean for what? Is some one going to pose as me and pay my bill and you are trying to avoid that happening? You are not a bank I am not storing my valuables with you. One point verification of ID is enough).
They are not able to find out that a call was placed to us from their side confirming that nothing would be charged. Not only that no records of conversation before sending Technician that we donot want to pay since you have called and want to send the guy. I wondered what was she checking with so many holds if she doesnt have any records?

D-Link wireless network problem and terrible customer service.
I ordered the D-Link Sim card router and it’s kept saying connected without internet . I called Etisalat severally and the problem wasn’t fixed . I went to their Office at the mall of Emirates. The staff were horrible and just dismissed my complaint saying there is nothing they could do . I was told some one will call me from 101 to talk about free cancellation. Some called and I picked up immediately and they cut the call on their end and never called back . They keep sending me messages to make payment for the internet I haven’t been able to use. I have only one regret so far it is picking Etisalat network.
Holding an existing Elife , I raised a request to shift my account to my new home , I have the new address and booked an appointment . Their technical came to install the fiber optic cables . Once the engineer showed up to connect the line , after 3 hours his supervisor command him to not do so . No one is giving a clear answer nor fixing the issue , after useless calls to their call center , and visiting their branch center were they hired useless incompetent staffs . After explaining my problem for the 100 ‘ time , their manager without even asking for my account number or checking my complain update , simply informed me that Etisalat cannot do any thing , and I should go to my building knocking on doors and asking if they have an Etisalat account . Calling their call center again , I m informed this time that my area is not connected to Etisalat . I live in downtown Dubai !!! All the buildings are connected !! Again promised to be contacted by their IT department , as it seems they are the one blocking the connection , after one week , no one bothered . It is simply the most hideous company to deal with .
tried to call 101 for some help, but unfortunately, they converted their cs to bots. the bot was unhelpful at all and was unable to help me with my query. i tried so many times to ask for a real person but the bot is such a bitch (i’m well trained to handle this things blah blah blah) it will just repeat things/ info that i don’t need aside from what i needed help with.
The prices of the internet services provided by Etisalat are so affordable. Moreover, the services are more than amazing!
