Facials – How good they really are!

So after a very tedious pregnancy through the pandemic and birthing amidst the peak, it was difficult enough to parent a new born without much help. Unfortunately it took a toll on my skin and my teenage acne was back, worse than ever – such skin deep breakouts which I have never had in life. None of my normal routines were working and it added to more frustration and lowered my self esteem. A good friend gifted me a voucher for Essa Beauty last year for my birthday And the specialists there began to help me with extractions. After 3 facials without improvements, I took an appointment specially with Lizzi as was recommended by my friend at the beginning. Patient and motivated as Lizzi is, she tried different things, made me aware of the importance of cleansing and extraction and we had over 6 months of sessions and slowly my skin began to get better. We’d get close to losing hope but Lizzi always pushed me to believe that things will work and explained how complex skin is, she is more Dr. Lizzi for me. She has seen my skin red, inflamed, flaky, oily and has helped me get rid of some of the deepest breakouts I have ever had. As someone who makes a living meeting and managing customers, I was low on confidence and when the pandemic restrictions eased and travelling began for me, I grew more anxious about how I look. Lizzi always supported me to look at how far we have come not what is still not resolved. If not for her I wouldn’t get as far as I have today. With her help we have finally understood my skin better and managed to get rid of the acne to a large extent and now are working more to reduce scarring. She has recommended the best products, literally worked on combinations of the ingredients my skin and never once given up. If I were to go back, I’d do it all again because I don’t think I can ever get through an extraction with anyone but her. She doesn’t just have the power to improve one’s skin but definitely to change your life with the self-confidence her work brings. I cannot thank her enough but I would recommend her to anyone who wants to know their skin and improve it from deep within. Thank you Lizzi!!

Especially, I love my favorite and the best of the bests facial therapists Natalie, who is taking care of my skin for 6 years and my skin issues have tremendously improved or even disappeared.
