I own an Emaar property, it’s exhausting to deal with them and difficult to reach them. They keep telling you they will come back to you and you have to contact them again then they decrease the channels to contact them.

Masterclass in “solving” the customer instead of the problem

If you have a complaint, do not call this customer service team. They will not fix it. Instead, they have mastered a revolutionary new technique: “solving” the person raising the question or reporting an issue! When you raise a completely legitimate issue, they do not bother looking at the problem. They just use weaponized rudeness and pure attitude until you question your own existence and hang up out of sheer exhaustion. Problem solved! It is honestly a spectacular strategy if your business goal is to make customers disappear. They cannot fix a simple issue, but they will absolutely make sure you leave the conversation feeling insulted. Truly unparalleled service. 10/10 for the unprofessional and rude attitude, 0/10 for actually helping.

Phone Customer Service is very Rude

My experience with Emaar’s phone customer service was very disappointing. The agent I spoke with was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to help. No clear resolution was provided, and my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. This level of customer service does not meet the standards expected from a company like Emaar. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training and accountability.

Problems with water leakage from the ceiling in your new apartment.

This is my personal experience, and I want to warn others not to make the same mistake I did.
I bought an apartment from Emaar and invested a huge amount of money — in high-quality materials, a very expensive new kitchen, and complete furnishing. The handover of the apartment was delayed by several years, and when I finally received it, I thought everything was done.

But soon after moving in, I discovered water leaking from the ceiling. I called Emaar, and their workers came to open the ceiling. They started sawing and drilling inside my brand-new, freshly cleaned apartment, without any protection for my furniture or floors. After that, the ceiling remained open for almost a week.

Every day someone came for just a few minutes, did something, left again — and I had to keep calling and following up, asking when they would finally finish. It turned out that the issue was caused by Emaar’s own poor-quality installation work — the pipes were not properly sealed. Yet Emaar refused to pay for the cleaning, even though the entire apartment was covered in dust and dirt because of their mistake.

My entire vacation was ruined — I spent days waiting at home for them to come. They said they would come at 9 a.m., but often arrived around 1 p.m., stayed for half an hour, and left again. I had to keep calling every day.

The service is terrible, and communication is nearly impossible — many workers do not speak English, and the attitude is very unprofessional.

The quality is extremely poor, and I truly regret ever buying from Emaar. If you can avoid it, do not buy an apartment from Emaar. You will only experience stress, damage, and disappointment.

I have photos showing how bad the situation was — everything covered in fine dust, the furniture dirty, and the apartment completely messed up. This is my honest experience.

Horrible purchase – every bit of the building is breaking down

Horrible brand new purchase in Creek Beach the building is pearly made faulty parts. Defected appliances from the AC motors to the range hood in the kitchen..
Constant leaks from the AC from the pipes from the neighbors pipes upstairs sewage smells in the hallways in your apartment terrible service. Amr takes no responsibility quoting. It’s no longer in the warranty. But everything’s been breaking down from day one in a brand, new community and building.
They only spend time and efforts on the landscaping outside

Worst quality and service

Well everyone don’t be fascinated by the look!
Because the inner quality is horrible
It’s been only 2 months not even 2 and until now and from day 1 we have faced all the problems that could get into your mind
Lately MAJOR LEAKAGES (and yes in plural) it’s raining in my bedroom also the whole wall has been ruined that shows another problem beside the leakage issue which is the quality of the painting and please note I’m not the only one who’s complaining from leaking problem! What makes it worse is that u call EMAAR to tell about the problem more the 100 times and ZERO ACTION! Let’s not forget about the bad hinges and drawers they have and the doors that have ZERO soundproof and the lighting socket and and and etc… I will never end and all these mentioned above from day 1

Emaar’s customer care personnel lack empathy and professionalism, often resorting to generic responses. It’s puzzling how they are hired. I wouldn’t recommend any expatriate to invest in Emaar. Their attitude is self-important, placing customer needs last, relying on their brand name. Additionally, their construction quality is substandard. It’s your money and your choice, but I advise against investing in Emaar.

how long does it take for Emaar to settle a dispute? 15 yrs and counting

Bought a commercial property with Emaar and started paying for it in 2008. Payments completed with in 2 years but the possession of the property did not come in till 2015 though the promised possession date was in 2012. Since 2015, a lawsuit has been in progress but looks like Emaar just wants to drag the litigation and tire off the customer, that is me. Is that a world class builder?

Shocking double standards when you deal with them. They can do noisy ‘work’ around your apartment all day all night without any limits. Horrible quality and they are structured in a way that no one is responsible. You can only talk with faceless, shameless, incompetent departments, not a single human in sight. Shameful, for a place that – at least in theory – keeps itself to a high standard.

worst customer treatment I ever experienced ever.
I am left since around 1 year with a damaged window, since handover of the property in creek rise 2. The company is putting the health and safety of their customer at risk!!! Customer service is not able to take any action, is misinformed, full of excuses and lies.
I highly recommend to get legal support when dealing with EMAAR.

Very disappointed

I had terrible experience with EMAAR as regards after sale service.Me and my family has bought many apartments from EMAAR and we didn’t face such issues before.The apartment I bought has many problems as regards ceiling and AC leakage before handover and this made delay of handover for more than 3 months as EMAAR told me they will delay the handover because they discovered many problems as regards the contractor work in the ceiling and AC.After long time,handover was done after they told me everything is ok now and no need to worry about it.1 year after the handover,the ceiling became damaged again with moulds on it and AC leakage as well from the bathroom and i keep calling the customer service of EMAAR to send their maintenance to check this and fix it but they were always replying that the property is now out of warranty and they cannot do anything about it.I explained to them that these problems were already existing in the apartment before handover and they recured again because they were not fixed properly from the beginning,but they keep not taking any action.I am very upset from such experience and the response of EMAAR although me and the family are loyal customers for EMAAR and we have dealt before with them many times.But this sad experience will make us change our mind for sure and not deal with them in the future.

Unexpected delay from such large developer like Emaar neither ignores and no compensation. I lost almost more than 500k AED investment opportunity from this project,

Horrible customer care towards residents

I am beyond appalled by the horrible customer care of EMAAR towards its residents in Creek Harbour. Allowing noisy construction works to take place at night when the construction site is merely less than 20 meters away from the occupied building is beyond my comprehension. The worst attitude ever and in my opinion management of the company should be really ashamed of being so anti-customer. You call them, they apologise, promise that it will not repeat itself and the next night yet another cycle of torture. I so sincerely can not recommend EMAAR any
longer as a good developer and worthy community. My absolute sincere disrespect to the management of the company for allowing and approving such activities to take place at night and not caring even a slightest bit what it feels for the residents staying at the building next to the site.

Hands off approach

In response to an earnest request to help with a flooding incident inside a downtown apartment due to rains on 1 Jan 2022, this is the response I received from the Emaar Customer Care Team. I will not get into the details, but the issue is a structural defect in the building.

“Kindly note, we have reviewed your case thoroughly once again. However, we regret that we are unable to assist you further since after this warranty period, the maintenance of the property is the responsibility of the owner or its resident”. This is a very standard response for all customer queries.

Behind the picturesque facade of the buildings in Downtown, the quality of materials used, quality of Customer service and treatment of Emrill staff who are overworked is shocking.
