Poor service that caused expensive damage

They did not clean my AC ducts properly and left my carpet discoloured, hardened and unusable. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, it remains unresolved, leaving me with a once-beautiful and extremely expensive carpet that now has to be thrown away. No discount is worth the stress, wasted time and additional expense their service caused.

A/C unit has been leaking since they finished cleaning them yesterday. We requested someone to come out immediately, they said they can’t send anyone out today. Now they’re disputing that it’s their fault, even though the units were working perfectly before they started their cleaning. Seems like they are just about the money and zero customer satisfaction. WARNING! They stole my money!

WARNING! Do not hire! I lost money and they damaged my AC permanently!

I live in Belgium and asked Edge Integrated Technical Services to fix the AC in my Dubai apartment, where my tenants live.

(I had a terrible experience with them last year but gave them a second chance last week. One of my worst regrets.)

First, I paid 1400 AED for their “Premium Package” that was supposed to include full coil cleaning, duct flushing, and deep cleaning. But after the service, the AC still wasn’t cooling. They told me the actuator needed replacing soI paid another 600 AED. Still no change. Then they said the motor was the problem. I felt something was wrong.

So I hired 2 other companies to check. Both told me the coils were never cleaned — even though I paid for it. Edge sent me false pictures as “proof”.

Even worse, one of other technicians showed me proof that my coils were recently damaged. He had serviced the same unit last year and had a photo from back then. The new photo clearly showed damage that was not there before. So not only did Edge not clean the coils — they damaged them! A most costly repair I can’t afford!

Before the actuator was replaced, I had already told Edge to STOP all work and that they were “not welcome anymore”. But they still went to the apartment anyway and replaced it without my permission. I asked for a refund. They refused and said the work was done “as agreed.” Totally dishonest!

Also, their team never showed up on day 2. My tenants waited the whole day, and the company didn’t answer their calls. The manager, Fatema, finally replied the next day with only a “hi” and said they don’t work tomorrow. No apology, no explanation. Very unprofessional.

In the end, I paid another technician (the one from last year) to fix everything. He cleaned the coils properly, made a small repair, and the AC worked again. No actuator or motor was needed! This shows Edge gave a wrong diagnosis twice and did unnecessary work just to charge me more.

I lost more than 2000 AED. The company is unreliable, incompetent, dishonest, and careless. I don’t want anyone else to go through this. Please avoid them.

Booked for sofa and mattress cleaning weeks before the service date. I texted and call many times 1 day before the fixed date nobody answered at the end they said they dont work on sundays. The next day service was scheduled at 9 am no one showed, after many messages they said 9:30, again no show they say at 10. At 10:30 i texted for the 3rd time,, they replied saying they need access.. and supposedly they should be done by that time.. so unsatisfying service unprofessional team especially Fatema who introduced herself as Head of Operations and she couldnt help even to have her team on time and she wasnot even sorry for that.

This is the most irresponsible and dishonest company. We were cleaning the water tank, and I specifically asked in advance for them to be careful and not damage the sensor that controls the water shut-off when the tank is full. After the cleaning, they broke our sensor, causing water to flow continuously outside. We had to shut off the water. The company promised to send another team to fix the issue within two hours, but no one showed up. In the evening, after a phone call, they assured me that everything would be taken care of the next day. They told me I had to fill the tank manually by shutting off the valve when it was full.

Due to manual filling, the water pump broke, leaving us without water. The next day, we managed to get through to them only after noon, but they kept lying and making empty promises. A team finally arrived but didn’t know how to fix the issue, and they just sat around until the evening. We were left with waste in the toilet for three days, without water at home, unwashed dishes, no shower, and no laundry! On the third day, they simply stopped answering our calls.

We contacted security, and only then did they show up. A new team came and left again because they didn’t know how to drain the tank without the pump (which was absurd not to know). They didn’t know how to fix the pump! They left, promising to return but never did. They won’t answer the phone! We are now contacting the police and filing a lawsuit. Video materials from surveillance cameras will be provided! May Allah punish you for your lies and irresponsibility!

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT it’s a scam

Reading several negative reviews, it became clear that my wife and I aren’t the only ones who were prey to this company’s dishonest practices. We signed a maintenance contract with them, paid Aed 6,400 in full and advance. Months later and they breached the contract every step of the way and provided ZERO services. We had to call other maintenance companies which of course cost us extra money. We decided to ask for a refund and since then they’ve been making all sort of excuses. My wife even spoke to someone who pretended to be the CEO but was actually from Customer Service. After weeks of waiting they claimed to have transferred some money back but 3 weeks later, we still haven’t received it. They are not even responding to our emails anymore. They have even taken down their Google page and all the reviews that were reporting them.
We filed a complaint to the Customer Protection Office, and we’ll go to the Police if the matter isn’t resolved. I urge all of you who had a similar experience to file a complaint too. Here’s the link:

I have got ac service from them and my cooling was still poor, bill increased by double and after calling they took 40n days to respond and send revisit. I found that in first clean they did not clean plate, water etc and motor was placed wrongly which made motor damage. they did no action anmd saying that cocordinator changed we will not do anything.

I’m so upset from this service. I did the booking payments, after I did the full payment. On booking time no one came, no one interesting to call to apologize that no one came. After one day the customer service reply and apologize, I’m not blaming on them . Ok I said let’s try last chance if no one I will do the refund money, again no one came, no one call. The worse customer service, I never come back and never advise to other people. And I have first experience with them, cleaning the ac it’s amazing, ( they were late by time , but came ). This time I choose cleaning the carpet and Matress. I hope I will not follow them month to get answer and get money back .

Commitment, Honesty and professionalism

I wouldn’t recommend this company as they are not honest and they cheated me. They promised some services over phone but didn’t do the same when they came. I stopped the workers as soon as I realized they are not doing the same service as promised. Called the same guy I spoke to, he said we will come back and do it later and let them continue what they are doing. I agreed. Then while leaving they convinced me to make partial payment which was almost 75% and promising to come back another day as they are busy. Now when I asked for the schedule to complete the work, they sent me msg that they will not do the service. Isn’t this cheating? Please beware and don’t just fall for their promises.

Absolutely horrible and unreliable. They gave a quote for an AC repair job and asked for full payment in advance to schedule tech to visit. I paid in full. Their tech came and did a half job. My AC was running earlier but not cooling , now my AC is completely down and I am chasing them to resolve the problem. No response since last few days. These guys need to be complained in consumer court and fined. Do not trust them and withhold payment always unless work is complete.

Do not get this company to do any work in your home.

They started in my home last week and claimed it would take 5 days for work to be completed. It is now over 2 weeks since they started and the demolishing part has not even been completed.

In the process of their work, they have left my home very very untidy and used no dust protection to prevent the rest of the house from getting extremely dusty. They have made a hole in the wall and chipped a piece off my sink while doing a bathroom renovation.

When they did show up for work they didn’t arrive before 11am any morning. They promised to come today and yesterday but did not show.

They have arranged to meet me on several occasions at the house but failed each time to show up. They refuse to answer text messages or phone calls.

Their work is nothing short of a disgrace and they have apologised for how bad it has been. However, they are now refusing to return and finish the work unless I give them predated cheques. It’s fraudulent what they are doing.

Do not make the same mistake I did. Stay away at all costs!

Lounge damaged

While my husband was in hospital I called to have lounge washed and sanitized.
I arrived late in the evening and noticed lounge was damaged from bleach.
After no response for over two weeks when I called manager advised was not aware. I advised they would be reported and they sent people to look.
I felt they thought I was not honest and marks where made before hand.
They wanted to take re make pipping. But I told them this longe was made for us and you will not have materials here. Plus pulling it apart will show sewing marks.
This was two weeks ago again no one called. I just called and told someone will call me back. Still waiting. I will now report this to consumer department in UAE.
My husband is recovering from cancer and 2 broken bones which I explained and this stress is not needed.
All that was needed was communication shame on you the manager who was not at all understanding and wanted to talk over me.

Unprofessional and fraudulent business practices

This is a bunch of unprofessional people with unethical business practices. I ordered deep cleaning for 31st December. I paid in advance. They sent their staff on 31st but the security of our community rejected them due to not having proper documents with them which was because their staff did not have Emirates ID due to not having a work permit (which was allegedly under process). The next day I followed up with them to enquire about refund. One of their managers called Anas apologized for the inconvenience and said not to worry they will return my money. Unfortunately Anas is not sincere. Over 3 weeks later, after many regular follow ups with Edge Integrated during which i heard many excuses and was promised many times that a manager will call me back I am still waiting for the callback and i am still waiting for my refund. An escalation to the authorities will be needed. Bottom line: another UAE business which should not have been granted a business license in the first place. Unprofessional and unethical.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST I was looking to establish an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for a villa, and had the unfortunate experience to work with this company. At first sight, it looks like they have references but in fact they are very recent on the market, are very stretched on resources and are not responsive at all. I had two emergencies (water, AC) which they could not address in time so I ended up paying another company to come, and I requested their handyman support for a couple of small tasks; same they arrived late & ended up doing nothing. They will try to attract you with discounted pricing, but don’t get fooled. You may be lucky if you go for a single order, but DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE TO ESTABLISH AN AMC with them. Finally, I asked to terminate my contract and get refunded pro-rata and they tried to fool me around; and I had to threaten to sue them to get paid. Ultimately, they over-charged me for activities they didn’t do but I just wanted to get out of it. There is plenty of other reliable companies on the markets (Fixperts, Transguard, etc.) and I will re-establish a contract with a new company. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE TO ESTABLISH AN AMC WITH THIS COMPANY; THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE.
