The experience I had with Dubai Islamic Bank was terrible since they blocked my card without informing me and for no apparent reason, which disrupted my entire day calling their customer service and wasting my time as a result of what they did, issues are not being resolved immediately.. ., they should inform clients in advance if they intend to block the card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Husband transfer money through Dubai Islamic bank to Sohar bank Salalah branch on 2nd September 2022 . 1000 DHS debited from the Account till now its not credited in Sohar bank account . When we contact the customer service they said to raise the complaint . Now it is around 20 days(20.09.2022) no reply from their side . We don’t know where the cash gone . There is no proper reply from bank side . Pls don’t trust them .

I don’t know where to begin – this bank is the worst in the UAE. No service, excessive fees, no disclosure, funds are blocked all of a sudden (these funds were in the acct for months). Customer service does not exist here, extremely disappointing and it does not leave a good reputation on the UAE as an otherwise excellent place to live and do business in.
Now for the past two weeks am going to branch of Dubai mall to open a current account and get a cheque book every time I go I have to do it in online weather the system is accepting or not. If I go back and show the system doesn’t support ask me to reach the branch they will say we will update now and come after 2 days or 4 days. I have wested my 2 weeks to get a cheque book when went today it’s took 45 minutes to reach the counter and the lady said same words again we updated the system come after 4 days. Seriously?? Is that a joke? Your customer service is sucks no amy professional team to help and solve the problem. I swear it is my mistake to choose this bank among the other bank and been a customer for last 4 years it’s a good treatment which I got. I urge my friends and whoever want to choose this bank please do not choose it because west of time they don’t value the customers they have their own way to value themselves then the customers.

I had allot of money taken out of my bank without any prior notice or warning . It was due to not updating my personal information. Which I didn’t know I was meant to do.the bank had deducted 450 each month for the last year and a half without telling me. Not even an sms or an email or a calls never mind even telling me in person whenever I was at the bank.

My account freezed during my job change . I applied for early settlement but they are ready to settle.
Nor unfreezing, nor processing early settlement .

My salaries are transferring to same account but cant withdraw.
I have no money for daily expense, all savings trapped in account.
Don’t trust this bank. A lot of frauds with credit cards, no customer support. It’s self-murder to have an account in this bank. I’m trying to close my account more than one month
First time to experience a delay on fund transfer, just local transfer. Most fund transfer is received instantly, especially local transfer. But, it’s been days documents were provided by the depository bank that the funds was successfully transferred. and when you call DIB, they will tell you to wait for another working days. Funds is for the purpose of paying bills but at the end their customer will have a hard time due to their poor service.
Had to visit the branch in fujairah to update my KYC because the application is horrible. The main branch office is suppose to help you but they just can’t do anything for updating my file.So dissappointed I will not use DIB ever again.
I enjoy interacting with Dubai Islamic Bank since their customer service staff is always prepared to assist. They’re also constantly eager to respond to all of my questions without hesitation.

Especially on digital side. No transparency on fees, terrible rates, it just made to make you feel miserable.
Ive been with DIB bank for 10 years, first time Ive been to Burjuman nearby branch to update for my KYC details because it wont work when im updating it through online. Again ,They ask me to just update it online which I have explained already that i have done it and it doesnt work. The guy sitting in sales and service desk told me to just comeback tomorrow and he will update. He is very rude in communicating with people. Not a customer care oriented. I felt disppointed in this branch.
I had the worst experience in buying A new car. I applied to DIB and all documents are provided as requested. The bank has decided to send someone to do a site visit for our office since the company is not listed. However, I was not notified beforehand about this inspection and everyone is on leave for Christmas and new year celebration. Later, the next day, someone called at 9:00Am from a mobile number requesting my personal details and rudely asking me to arrange a meeting for him with the owner and HR of our company at office. He was unfortunately talking to me like an investigator with some rude tone. I tried to understand how come he knew about my request for Auto Loan but he refused to share his name neither the company name. Here, I decided to not share my personal information, such Calls usually fishers or scammers try always to scam. As result, my request got delayed with DIB and I reported this phone call to DIB. DIB confirmed that the 3rd party company is only tasked to do a site visit and not requested to play a role of investigator or ask personal details.
We agreed they will send someone else the next day. So I cancelled all my appointments and I waited the whole day until I did a follow up and they said they could not find someone to do a site visit so I have to wait for the next day.
DIB customer service was trying to help but obviously it is something related to internal process and he could not do anything.

Express transfer is taking 1 minutes as per them but it took more then 7 hours.i have done express transfer on 23rd December and next day I got the message that my transfer is failed.today is 27th of December still I am waiting for my money and I don’t when it will be solved even coustomer care also doesn’t know..
DIB representative gave me the wrong information on credit card interest and the early settlement closure process. Made the installment 4500 instead of 1500 AED per month. I made a complaint it took them 3 weeks to call back and they did basically nothing to resolve instead ask me to arrange more money.
Because of their untrained staff, a customer has to suffer. They had all the call records which indicated that their representative misguided me still did not bother to do anything about it. It’s the worst you can expect.
Worst bank. Worst staff. Lazy staff. Took more than 2 months to get just an NOC to change my mortgage insurance. This bank was never my choice, Noor bank closed down and passed us to this HORROR. I’ll do my best to take my business from them asap.. as it takes your time, energy, health to deal with them. Staff are completely unprofessional, completely lack knowledge on their job, utterly lazy, I had to make complaints, that’s the only time they moved! They have so many bad reviews, they should be closed down or completely change staff, starting from top managers to teller staff.
DIB Solutions Hub in Oud Metha – Very politic and unprofessional. Came very early only to be entertained an hour after! NOTE! There’s not even clients nor customer yet. They will let you wait for hours for nonsense chitchatting with their colleagues. Everyone has their own business to attend – time is very important regardless what nationality you’re in. So sooo disappointed how they works.. they literally get paid to chitchat.
Hi DIB! I would just like to commend Mr. Diya Yousef of Al Ain, DIB, Al Jimi branch. Mr. Diya is very professional, friendly, prompt and very much knowledgeable of how DIB operates. I have been a customer of 9 yrs now and ALL my loan applications are swift and hassle- free. This pandemic season has been challenging but Mr. Diya made things possible. He just assisted me with my top up loan application and I got the money in just 3-4 days! Mr. Diya keeps in touch with his clients and serves over and beyond his duty. He is trully admirable and is excellent in his job! He’s one of the reasons why I am banking with DIB until now.
If there’s someone who deserves promotion or raise, I would highly recommend Mr. Diya Yousef, Al Jimi, Al Ain branch.
