I rented a good pricy car for over a year from them. I paid extra for full insurance. I had a small scratch on the car from a stone on the road and they charged me the repairs from my account without even asking if I agree to the damage or if I have a police report (which you cannot obtain because it is not applicable for such circumstances). No one answers my emails and whatsap messages. They simply ignore me. They took my money ( a fortune btw compared to the small irrelevant scratch) and that’s it. As well, no one ever cared about servicing the car or if inspection or oil was needed during this long time. When I texted to ask them, again they ignored me. Don’t deal with them if you care about your wellbeing and money. They are not professional and simply ignore you as a customer. They take your money and that’s it.
I spent a total of 31,357.67 AED renting from this company over the past 2 years. Not only do they not have someone available to help with service when your car breaks down on the highway, they also double charge for gas when the vehicle is returned at 3/8 instead of 5/8 as per the documentation they never shared when taking the vehicle for service – which by the way lasted 9 days. I returned the loaner vehicle before getting the original vehicle back and received charges to my card and also the quality of loaner vehicle I received was a complete downgrade from the vehicle I was paying for. I highly recommend avoiding this company – which is a contractor of Careem Car Rental.

Absolute scammers. After handing my car back to them in February 2024 I found a small scratch on the side of the car which I hadn’t noticed, however I agreed it was my own responsibility. We checked the car together and I signed for the small damage made, the individual confirmed this was all damages and everything else was fine. 1 week later I receive an invoice with a bunch of extra damages, totalling almost 1400 dirhams. They claimed I acknowledged these damages which I absolutely did not, and when sending me the handover notes attached to the invoice it shows only the 1 scratch made – despite them charging me for more. When I questioned this they continued trying to tell me that I acknowledged these damages, even though it was not mentioned on the handover notes – make it make sense? Absolutely shocking service and I’d advise anyone to save their money and stress by going with a professional car rental company who won’t rip you off for an extra buck. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This company is never on time Staff are rude They don’t do handovers with proper documentation so when they pick up the car they claim you have damaged it. They take photos of the cars weeks later and claim you owe them money. They never give you a copy of the paperwork. The female staff that answer the phone are rude and unprofessional. Clearly run by a bunch of dishonest people.

This by far the worse company I ever had to deal with, extremely unprofessional & horrible. They took us to parking, pitch black we could hardly see anything and they gave us the car, 15 minutes later we noticed that there is no plate number in-front of the car. However we tried to contact them but they were not helpful until the police intervened. The fact that we had to go to police to get someone to come down and bring us the replacement is absolutely disgraceful. The police officer even told the company this. These people think by behaving like this they are saving the company money but all they do is scaring their customers away. 100% not recommending this company.

If you want to rent a car, please never do it with this company. They will ignore your calls, your messages, and they will do some extra charged which aren’t supposed to be made, trying to scam you. I was renting a car from them for 1 month, and On the day of return their representative came so late in the evening to take a car back (however I asked them to come in the morning, no one came of course). He came late and they charged me for extra day rent!!! However they did promise me they won’t charge me, as it’s their fault. And now, it’s almost a month since I am waiting for my refund back, every time a different person answers the call and gives me a different information. Not customer oriented at all, make your clients wait for ages, terrible!

The experience was ok, however while I have been very clear that I wanted a car for a month and a month only, they did not take back the car and try to renew it for another month without saying anything. Luckily I didn’t allow for automatic transaction from my banking account so they had to ask my CB. They still managed to charge me the days after the expiry date of my contract and did not refund me the whole amount of the deposit. It’s first time I have seen a company acting like this and they just don’t care at all about your e-mails, so I would not recommend at all this car renting agency. I would not imagine what would have happened if something happened to the car …

ISSUES TO GET YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK
I rented with Diamond Lease on May 2022.
I was told at counter that the security deposit will be refunded within 30 calendar days and that IT COULD BE PAID TO A DIFFERENT BANK CARD.
It was important for me that the refund was done to a local UAE card because I had to pay with a foreign card in where I was naturally losing money in currency exchange by the time of paying and in the event of refund I would be losing again money in exchange rates. Also the refunds take longer time to be reflected in the account because of being an international transfer. IF I KNEW I WOULD’T BE ABLE TO CHANGE CARD FOR THE REFUND, I WOULDN’T RENTED THE CAR IN THE FIRST PLACE.
I was assured then in writing by email that the refund could be done to a different card and I was requested to provide card details.
After 30 days of returning the car, the refund has not been done, they have details of 2 of my bank cards and I am informed late after 30 days of returning the car that the refund cannot be done to a different card.
This kind of excuses to delay the payment and keep security deposits are common in non-trustworthy rent-a-car companies.
Avoid going through the headache of having to email them, call them and ask them to return the security deposit that is yours by contractual right.

I have been their client for almost 3 years straight leasing cars from them. I had a fine which I am 100% was given to the plate number by mistake and I have proof from CCTV! The fine was paid without my approval and now they are claiming back while it’s under dispute with authorities which are taking time as it shouldn’t have been paid in order to dispute!! I walk to my car and the car was turned off without any warnings at night right before the long holiday and they refusing to activate until I pay the fine!!! This is very unacceptable for a 3 year client that hasn’t paid the fine for only 8 days after notification
