Poor customer service

Bought 50.000+AED worth of equipment from Decathlon over the past 5 years including a 4.000 AED cross trainer. The trainer experienced worn out bearings due to poor design. Its 20 AED parts available as parts in other markets. UAE Decathlon refuses to support and get the parts. I can now throw away the machine. Will never buy at Decathlon again! Just find somewhere else to shop!

Decathlon online service is probably the worst service you can get in Dubai. Hear me out: Their website is crap full of bugs. When I was in the store to buy my daughter a bicycle they recommended me to buy online because i can get a 15% discount on my first purchase. Obviously, you can see in the screenshot how buggy the website is and it’s not possible to register and get that 15% discount. Fine, I made the order anyway… The order says 2 to 4 days delivery which was just one day before my daughter’s birthday. Today marks the 7th day and still no delivery. For the past 3 days I tried to send them an email but I received a reply that this email is not working anymore so I went to the contact us page on the website and sent a message in through the contact us form and I received the same email in the screenshot :Email not in service. (TERRIBLE Online Experience).

I finally find that you can only reach decathlon support through Whatsapp… So I reach out to them. Felt like a support centre in India not Dubai. and for 3 days I have been telling them I don’t want the bicycle anymore after they broke my daughter’s heart and for 3 days they have been lying to me telling the bicycle is on it’s way to you and scheduled for today’s delivery and for 3 days we keep getting a disappointment after the other.

The issue is that they don’t care and it’s very frustrating. I didn’t even get one phone call from a manager to try and fix things or sort out the delivery. Nothing. They just send you into this loop of unending cold replies without any problem solving solutions…

Honestly, that whole online operation is very scammy and dodgy.

Avoid using their online service.

such a worst online platform, (if you are purchasing a product coast 30 AED you have to give 25 AED as service charge). i have ordered 2 items which coast almost 90 AED and complete the order, i was agreed with 25 AED shipping charge for 90 AED items but suddenly after next day i got a message that one item is out of stock and only one item can be delivered, so that means i have to pay 25 AED shipping charge for 30 AED item, what the shit, if the item is out of stock you have to tell before customer make purchase. not just before delivery

Surely not satisfied, Infact every customer service I spoke to did not help me. I had purchased a product on discount. i got a call next day that the item is out of stock, Time of purchase it showed me 3 items left in stock.

Next day I get a call that it is not in stock which is the last day of sale, I tried to purchase a replacement online but with no luck as the sales got over same day morning. Now is that my fault I couldn’t buy it on discount? Customer service could have helped me by reaching someone to help me out with a discount code so i could purchase the replacement on same discount. but they just told me Unfortunately we cannot help you.

Decathlon basically did not update their stock on the system and a customer like me got effected as they didn’t get the product which was bought on sale. Adding couldn’t even get the replacement on discount cause sales got over due to decathlon informing next day.

I bought an item from decathlon website and i got an email saying my purchase has been approved and will get my item after two working days from Staff name Rolla but surprisingly staff Mohamed sent me email that item was an able to be delivered due to out of stock yet on decathlon website the items still shows they are in stock and they had already deducted money to be honest decathlon has scammers

Not even worth one star. I purchased a dartboard as a Christmas present for someone. They opened it on Christmas Day and it was USED. Heavily used. The box was taped shut! There’s obviously no quality control whatsoever. The manager was so unhelpful and rude, seemed ANNOYED I even wanted to exchange it for an UNUSED product and didn’t even apologize for this happening! Contacted online customer service and they were useless too. No help, no resolution, just auto generated garbage. Horrible experience with a horrible company. Don’t waste your money here!!
