Bounced Cheque concern due to the incompetency of the real estate management team

I have been residing at ARENCO GOLDEN SANDS AL BARSHA1 since 2017. I usually pay then rent by Cheque. The accounts verifies the cheque – date, write up etc.. and accept it. Recently a cheque was bounced as Bank decided the date is not clear!! however this was verified by Arenco management and they accepted the cheque and for me the cheque has no fault. STILL some one from ARENCO calls ME AND START THRETENING (he was rude and indecent and lacked basic manners of speech) with legal action. WHEN i tried to explain that i will pay the bounced cheque amount immediately he refused to understand. He was insisting I should pay 10% penalty. When I explained I had no hand in such cheque bouncing and his accounts and management team have verified the cheque, he refused to listen and went on using nasty language and threatening me??? is this the way ARENCO treats a 7 years customer with clean history?? what nasty level of communication and customer service Arenco MAINTAINS. when I tried to reach any EXCUTIVE I FAILED. I SENT MULTIPLE MAILS ASKING FOR A CALL BACK no one took any action. ARENCO should value customers Loyalty and long relationship.

Unclear Terms and Conditions on Guests Policies

My recent experience with Arenco management has been quite frustrating. I tried to host guests for a short stay, and suddenly there were objections with a threat to deny them access to the place. While I’ve had guests stay over without issues in the past, there was no objection by the management at that time.

In my attempts to seek clarity, I’ve repeatedly requested, through email communication, the specific terms in the lease agreement that mention this restrictive guest policy. However, the management has been unresponsive and failed to share any documentation supporting their objections. Instead, they consistently refer to a rule related to “subletting and sharing,” which does not align with my situation as I have shared the return tickets of the guests along with other relevant documents.

What’s worse is that the security supervisor threatened to stop my friends from entering the building. They even said, “This is Arenco,” and legal action wouldn’t help you. As a tenant, feeling threatened by the security supervisor and being told that legal action would be futile is an unacceptable experience. It highlights a severe lack of professionalism and respect for tenants’ rights. No one should feel subjected to such treatment when simply trying to host guests within the bounds of their lease agreement.

Furthermore, the management’s support services staff has proven to be excessively rude. Due to their unclear terms and conditions, my friends were forced to book hotels overnight, causing unnecessary inconvenience and additional expenses. The assertion that only one guest is allowed in a studio apartment is not only illogical but also impractical for short visits. So if my parents were to visit for a few days, the management’s rule allowing only one guest in a studio, even for short stays, would mean that one parent would have to stay in a hotel. This is not only illogical but also impractical for short visits. This rule is typically applicable for permanent and long stays.

Had they communicated these rules clearly before we signed the contract, we might have reconsidered choosing to live here. It’s disheartening to find ourselves in a situation where we need to be cautious about inviting family and friends due to unclear policies. The lack of upfront disclosure has led to unexpected expenses, as they only inform tenants about these rules after they’ve already moved in, compelling us to spend money on hotels.

Future tenants should be aware that not only are policies enforced unevenly, but also getting straightforward answers from the management seems to be a struggle. The lack of transparency and communication is something to consider before choosing a place to live.

I sincerely hope this review serves as a call for improvement, urging the management to address these concerns promptly and foster a more transparent and tenant-friendly environment.

Uncourteous during your bad times

Pay up your rent on time especially when you rent one of ARENCO’s properties in DIP 1 or 2 as the managing staff there s extremely rude and intolerant when it comes down to rental payment defaults. They will throw you out unceremoniously causing a lot of humiliation and embarrassment even when you are trying to settle the outstanding dues in a phased manner. If you are confident about your cash flows, then a nice property to stay at.
