Welcome Aquafun, an award winning water park in the heart of Dubai’s most popular beach, JBR, offering fun to up to 1,000+ guests at any given time. It has over 110+ obstacles that you will need to conquer whilst floating in the sea with your friends and family.
The facility on appearance is appealing. From the pool area, spectacular views of the Dolomites. However, the safety issues are an overriding concern. The pool areas do have life guards, but the supervision and oversight are extremely lacking and poor. Contributing to the safety issues are parents that do not maintain a disciplined control of their children. I will never return to this facility nor recommend it after my recent visit, where a child jumped in the pool and landed on my shoulders; following by a strong kick in the stomach. The child’s parents laughed at the scene, and the life guards were non-responsive to my concerns and safety. In speaking with the parents afterwards, it was evident that the pool is for children, and their right to fun supersedes safety and the peace and enjoyment of other clients.
