financial fraud by a company named Ali Cloud Investment L.L.C. They told me they provided personal loans. After discussing an amount of 15,000 AED, they offered an interest-free Islamic loan scheme. I agreed and filled out my application, but I mistyped my IBAN number. Consequently, I did not receive the loan. Ali Cloud then informed me that I had made a mistake and needed to pay a penalty. I paid a penalty of 5,000 AED. After that, they requested another amount for “Confirmation of Loan Application and Associated Charges.” I paid an additional 3,985 AED for clearance. They then told me I would receive all the money after 20 minutes. About 35 minutes later, I called them, and they requested another amount for “comparative tax,” which was 5,300 AED. At that point, I realized this was a fraud and refused to pay.
They then threatened that if I didn’t make all the payments, they would add it to my Emirates ID.
