Al Fanar Restaurant revives Emirati ambiance in the 1960s, and with the taste of Authentic Emirati Cuisine. With the rapid growth and constant advancements of the Emirates, we are experiencing a great amount of globalization, an interchange of world ideas, and other aspects of culture. Among that, is the influence of the world’s cuisines into our daily diets. Above all, we are on the verge of losing our national identity when it comes to food. Al Fanar is here to introduce Emirati cuisine to the local and international market. The restaurant wasn’t established for the sole purpose of introducing Emirati cuisine, but also to act as a mini-museum where tourists and the new generation visit to learn about the Emirati culture.
The restaurant sets in a themed Emirati rustic interior inspired from Dubai’s various facets in the 1960s, it offers diners a unique experience recreated from the age-old traditions. Every corner of Al Fanar Restaurant has a story to tell. The multifaceted facades speak of the history-a bygone tale of how the house was built through generations. The humble, yet rich traditions of the east are manifested in the architectural character-so distinct and noble. Emirati Cuisine is a traditional Arabic cuisine from United Arab Emirates and shares similarities with Indian and Persian cuisines
