Scam

Cars are dirty, other people’s hair found in them, they take money from damages done by a previous renter and employees are rude when asked to check the status of the car and just charge for previous damages to new renters! Awful service and they take your money for something you haven’t done!

Run away!!

Run away!! I repeat Run away … this is really bad company (Al Emad Car Rental). Basically they will withdraw money from your credit card without your authorization and create additional massive fees. I REPEAT, RUN AWAY from local Car Rental companies in Dubai. Use International companies only (Car Euro, Dollar.com …etc).

Unacceptable service, not recommended

Customer service was horrible at Al Emad JLT. The car smelled awful and was so disgusting on the inside with seats, floors and roof covered in dark liquid. The front left tire had a leak so we kept having to get air, which was not solving the case. I took pictures of the car so the evidence is available and was shown to the staff, which ignored us. Deposit is not returned till this day. Terrible experience.

Absolute scam

I would like to report Al Emad JLT car rental company as a scam and fraud company. Yesterday my bank card was charged AED 2,472 without my consent or knowledge.

I have demanded an immediate explanation and received an information that a paint job is required at the front bumper. I have faced arrogant and extremely rude behaviour from Shamid in customer service handling the case. The replies were incompetent and then messages got completely ignored.

In the meantime I have received two separate quotes one from a car garage and one from a different car rental company that the stated damage would cost from AED 250-300 only with everyone shocked at the amount they took from me.

I have received the car in a horrible state, with multiple damages, technical issues, stains and dirt. I have full conversation and photograph documentation available.

This is not the first time I am facing neglect and scam attempt with this company. The initial car they gave me had a tier pressure issue and they tried to force me to drive it on the road even though it was not save and endangered my well-being and the road safety regulations.

I would like to bring immediate attention to Al Emad unlawful practices and money stealing attempts. They provide faulty cars with multiple technical issues and ignore complains. They will charge the clients triple for made up damages and reasons.

I have now reported this to Dubai Police and opened a case with Dubai Economic Development and Consumer Rights. After informing Al Emad about this they replied “ Sure they will be contacting our legal team”.

*I have contacted the below number, however I was ignored and treated like a clown yet again. I would also like to express my appreciation to the Al Emad employee dedication – 24h after my negative review 10 fake positive ones miraculously appeared as a cover up, well done.

The customer service was very bad. Promises not delivered. Bad communication with customers. Abusing the card payment system where they charge wrong amounts and without referring back to the customer. They simply apply your card and take money from you without your approval. Fraudulent company- be aware, call police if this happens

I rented a car for 5 days from 16.02.2022. License plate dxb-85027-N.
They said they will block some money for the car and unblocked them after. They take my money from my card without my accept not blocked (fraudulent tehnique) and when they gave me back i lost at conversions currency 22 euro. They dont respond to emails and scam people all the time. If anyone can help me please write to me. I feel lost. Thank you
