Bad service

I am writing this regarding the delay in refunding my security deposit and the pending amount of AED 1050.

As per the agreement, the vacating date for the room (Al Khail Heights, Building 5A, Room 413) was 28/02/2026. However, due to the poor and unlivable condition of the premises, we were unable to vacate on that date.

Following discussions with the broker, we vacated the room on 08/03/2026. Despite the difficult situation, we cooperated fully after the broker insisted that additional days would be deducted from our deposit for overstaying, even though basic humanitarian living conditions were not met.

After vacating:
– We moved to Emirates-provided accommodation.
– All DEWA bills were fully cleared.
– Ejari was cancelled on the same day.
– All required documents were submitted promptly.

It has now been over 45 days, and we have yet to receive:
1. Our security deposit cheque
2. The additional AED 1050, which the broker acknowledged as his mistake and agreed to reimburse

Furthermore, the broker has been unresponsive and has repeatedly redirected us to different contact numbers without providing any resolution. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable.

Ms. Maria Gomes is fully aware of the entire situation and the difficulties we faced throughout this process.

– The return of the security deposit
– Payment of AED 1050 without further delay

Very bad experience after buying an off-plan property with Faraz. He flipped completely after the purchase was completed.
